I love the new printer. I use it in my home office for work and also for personal use. The set up has easy to follow instructions. I am in my 60"s and if I can set it up, I think pretty much anyone can do it.

This HP printer is a piece of junk. The construction of the paper bin and feed is so poor that it is very awkward to use. After months of use the printer often gives paper jam stoppages even when there is no paper jam. The printer has serious problems when feeding it double sided photo paper. It often pulls in more than one sheet of paper at one time. The mechanical construction is just terrible and cheap. Best Buy should immediatelt remove it from inventory. What a terrible waste of money.

I love not having to deal with ink cartridges , but thats the only good thing i can say after having this printer for 3 weeks. It is super buggy, always freezing, Making this an expensive paper weight. Find a different brand

It’s Ok very flimsy and finicky compared to my old HP 8610.
The Ink will smear if a drop of water gets on it.
Control Panel is on top making it hard for a short person. Wish I had shopped around more, but I needed a printer. Over priced for what you get.

Hello there, I bought this printer a few months ago with the hope that it was going to be a great printer. A few days after setting it up I started getting the ADF jam error, I have followed every recommendation to fix it, but the error happens even if I am not using the printer. It's driving me crazy because this is a brand-new printer. I called HP support and the rep hung up on me and did not bother to call back. Was I scammed out of $400?
Stay away from this printer!

I'd like to preface this by saying I'm not an idiot. I have a degree in computer science and I've set up dozens of printers in my life.
During the setup process, the printer got stuck in a unrecoverable state. The display showed the message "The HP Software is setting up your printer..." with no way to recover or move on. Google the error message - many others have reported this with no real resolution.
The printer has one physical button (the power button) and a touchscreen. There is no way to reset the printer without getting to the touchscreen menu and no way to get to the touchscreen menu in the setting up printer state.
