It’s very easy to set up, and use. Very happy we got it!

My god it is so slow, I didn’t expect it to take an hour to print one 50 page document. It really only works if you use HP Smart, which takes double the time and is really obnoxious. HP is going way downhill. I also didn’t realize it can only hold 100 pages and when you load the paper it almost always jams so you really can’t walk away from the printer and you have to sit there the entire time. 1 million times slower if you’re not hooked up to the Wi-Fi direct and when you are, you can’t leave the printing page or even let your phone or computer computer screen go to inactive. If you do the entire printing will stop and you have to start all over again. Definitely, I’m not even sure why they would write that. To be hooked up to the Wi-Fi to the same Wi-Fi as the printer meaning you have to be in the same location either way. For a person who has to print 10 to 15 large permits for work daily, this is extremely disappointing. HP Smart says it’s waiting on printer confirmation throughout the entire print job and that you can’t leave that screen until you have printer confirmation. That does not happen until it’s halfway through printing the last page. So much for investing in my business

This printer does everything we need it to do and MORE! The ink is super easy to fill. We can print directly from cell phones. We can send print jobs to it via its' own email address.
The only downside to it, is that it's not true duplex printing. It's not a deal breaker for us though.
Still think it's a super printer!!!!!

Best Buy is a fraud. I bought a HP Ink Tank 651 printer and found a better price within two weeks of my purchase. Did not honor match. Buy Staples, never again at BB. Never, Never.

Needed to replace our printer. After researching the options we settled on the HP Smart Tank Plus 651 because it has all the features we wanted in a printer. It was easy to set up and has performed well so far. Waiting to see if the new way to refill the ink will be an advantage and save money.

It works well, I bought for the tankless. have not ordered more ink yet. my only gripe is that it said it prints double sided. it does not. you have to flip over paper to accomplish double sided.
Also while setting up initially I had to pull some plastic pieces out to put the toner things in then it sometimes makes a weird rough noise while printing.
everything still works so far. after only two months.

Do not like the fact that this printer has no duplexer. This was not readily apparent in the specs. Additionally, once the paper from the outout tray has been reinserted so that the backside of each page can be printed on, the command to continue printing is found only on the computer, not the printer display. This is very inconvenient when the computer is located on the opposite end of the house.
