Beware of moving

However huge disappointment that you cannot move the printer even a little bit with this special kind of ink. We barely moved it over and right away there were problems with it. But otherwise it was a good thought pattern. I still have not found the place where I can do two-sided copies.

About 3 weeks after purchase I checked the Best Buy Return policy and it’s too late. I’m stuck with it. It prints better than I expected. My issues are with all the errors. I don’t know if it will print each time or what error I might get. I have to repeatedly uninstall and reinstall the printer cartridge. Yes, even though there are ink takes it still uses ink cartridges the just have ink reservoirs. I also get errors about phantom paper jams and false out of paper errors. Plus one other one I can’t think of right now. If I’m having this much trouble this soon I don’t expect anything to improve and will probably get worse. But then maybe I can return under warranty. I forgot, another thing I don’t like is I can’t print 2 sided! I can if I print all on one side and then re-feed the paper in. Yes, this is by design and what HP means by 2 sided printing. I regret buy HP, I should have went with Epson or Cannon, the only reason I didn’t was because Best Buy was sold out of the other brands.

Installation of ink and replacement ink options work well for this product. Ink was was to install. I wish that I knew how to use scanning and emailing beforehand then I would have kept using this product. Overall the product is great and worked well.

Bought on the web site. Printer does not have a tray feed which I would prefer. You feed from the back (only about 35 sheets at a time) so not limited to 8.5 x 11 paper, supposed to be able to feed 8.5 x 14". Copy bed is not that big however. I have not yet printed pictures. One thing to consider if you would be doing any moving of this printer, instructions mentioned precautions to take to avoid spilling the ink. When preparing to print, it goes through some maneuvers before it actually starts printing.

Disappointed that it does not print on both sides of the paper. The quality of parts that make up the printer aren't as good as A previous HP printer that I had. I'm just happy now to have a printer to use. I'm still learning all the pros and cons of this particular printer.
