Easy to set up by using enclosed guide. Print and scan quality are good. Much quieter than our older HP printer. We have wireless connections to 2 laptops and an iPad and all seem to be working well. Paper enters printer from the back so it may limit placement. Would have preferred a paper tray but no issues. Our first tank printer so hope ink costs will be less overall than using cartridges.

I have only had the printer for a few weeks but so far pleased with the easy setup and its functionality. Hoping long term the use of ink in bottles for refill will work well vs the old cartridge type. I gave 4 stars for value since I felt expensive and 4 stars for quality because I haven't had long enough to determine.

It is a great printer and is easy to use. The only thing I have needed to get used to is having the paper load in the back, but it isn't a big deal. I do wish it could print both sides of a paper without me having to physically flip the paper.

This printer uses a refillable ink-tank system rather than traditional cartridges, which means very low cost per page if you print regularly. According to one review: “The Smart Tank’s dramatically low costs per page are impressive.

Fast and the ink lasts a long time! This is my first ink well printer and I have to say I'm very impressed. Its been months with constant printing and I still haven't needed to refill. My old Ink jet would have been empty weeks ago and the print quality id also better. I highly recommend!

Each day I appreciate this printer more, especially how long the ink lasts compared to buying ink cartridges. Had an old HP Laser jet and cartridges were sooooooooo expensive. One negative, and I tried to get, but there was no Operator's Manual in the box. Best Buy told me it didn't come with one. When I looked online the HP site says it does. Finally found one online and printed out all 88-some pages because I prefer to have a reference guide. Couldn't find a way to order one. Without instructions I couldn't figure out exactly how to fax and print out reports. This is a case where tech people forget lay people don't have all this instant knowledge readily available. I still want a legit Operator's Manual. Anyone know where I can get one?

I had trouble with placing the ink cartridges because the printer needed to be higher up so I could see the ink location placement. The ink cartridge locations should be easier to see and use. I had ink on my hand because of this problem issue.

Was using an old HP that took the HP63 ink cartridges. I was buying both the black and colored constantly. Of course, it's expensive. Now I have an HP Smart Tank Plus and using 1/3 the amount of ink. It was easy to hook up to my computer, performs perfectly, and saves money. I'm sorry I waited so long.

Great machine plugged it in (hardwire) and it prints like a champ. A lot of ink! Remember it spills. That's where it stops. Won't connect bluetooth or any other way. Won't scan won't do anything but print! Requests for assistance were not of help but each request involved a $29.95 subscription totaling $129.00 so far; I can't get one HP service TURNED OFF. I have a PhD in Technology and this is bad. Printers are an after thought and None connect with the customer in mind. I love the precision printing! Replacement Printer cartridges can NOT be purchased! 5 years into production spares are not available; Buy a whole new printer like I did!

I love this new printer. The only reason I gave it a 4 instead of 5 is due to the limited two-sided printing. You can do two-sided but it’s a manual process. Therefore, you can not do two-sided printing from a remote device, like your IPad. Love the new ink cartridges that last a long time.

Printer is easy to set up—including the mobile app and online for my computer. Prints come out clean. I like the fact that I don’t have to worry about ink cartridges running dry since I only print sporadically.

Finally purchased a new printer the HP Smart Tank Plus 651 All in One Inkjet. Things I like are the 6,000-8,000 pages I should get out of one full filling of the four tanks. It was easy to do and zero mess. It totally wireless an when you set it up in the beginning other printers work thru your home network to print. No real setup for each new printer working in the house. The printer is small enough to fit nicely on a desk. To run all four print options my old printer was 2x larger. This is small compare to the old one. Everything is working fine and I am very happy.
