I bought this particular sprocket because it looked most appealing to me. I had heard good reviews & such, but was not prepared for the terrible quality that it offered. I tried to troubleshoot the issues I was having, but nothing got better. Don't get me wrong, the quality of the detail in these teeny prints is great..but the color is TERRIBLE! They do look "vintage" but that's not what I'm looking for. *each of the pictures that I provided were supposed to be very vibrant. I even edited them in the Sprocket app to reflect as such.

I decided to get this to compare it to the canon selphy as the operation and cost of prints are comparable, but this one is more portable and can fit in your pocket. This takes the usual HP printer internal page feeder design eliminating the need to have a ln external paper loader like canon selphy and prints in less than 30 seconds. the time from print command selection to end takes about 2 mins and the picture is viewable instantly. the biggest drawback is the cost of the paper. the canon selphy paper/ink is almost half the price and if you take size into consideration it is even more. i have only printed 3 photos and I am satisfied, but the compatibility is strickly with the app from google play store and the app is limited to viewing to viewing your social media photos and local photos. when i try to open a local photo that i took with my camera on my phone, i get a blank white picture as if the app cannot handle the resolution. I am unsure why this is and if I cannot figure out how to resolve this, i will probably return it. I was forced to buy the polaroid brand zink paper as the bestbuy store didnt have any HP brank zink paper. I have not tried the polaroid paper yet. my intention is to be able to take a picture with my nikon and immediately print it out of my pocket, but I do not see how it will work as HP forces you to only use the proprietary app. this would be really great for someone who takes a lot of pictures on their phone a and wants to print them on the go.

So HP is borrowing ZINK zero ink tech in this portable photo printer. Does it work, sure does. You need to install a companion app on your iPhone or Android device to communicate via Bluetooth. The app has all sorts of bells a whistels to change up your pics before you print: different borders, stickers, text, crop, color enhance, the list goes on. So now why it's 3 stars. Again it works but the app camera for whatever reason seems to pull all the images to the side, like they aren't centered like the viewfinder would have you believe whice means every pic I took had to be cropped to fit. Also, the print quality was/is poor. Don't go thinking you're gonna want to go out and put these in the scrapbook. The resolution is pretty low and the color contrast is a lot darker. (Think first generation electric photo frames *shudder*) A fine gift for maybe your shutterbug tween or whatnot but it's not gonna put Snapfish/CVS/Walgreens out of business.

I bought this in hopes that it would be useful when on the go. I have something similar by Canon but needs a power source and replacing ink cartridges. Sprocket is charged using a micro USB cord, on the go I use my external battery and works fine. Overall, it's a decent product, but sometimes if the picture doesn't have proper lighting it won't come out well. Or if the picture looks fine on your smartphone, it prints out dark. Other than that, it's handy to have in purse!

An employee pointed me to these before I almost purchased a instant print camera. The camera on our cell phones blows those out of the water. And this printer is so small is easily portable. Micro usb rechargeable battery. And the film is cheaper. Def update the firmware when you get it. Sometimes the Bluetooth the connection is annoyingly dropped but the update helps some. The film also can be turned into a sticker.

Small size makes it very portable. I had some intermittent difficulties with connecting through the bluetooth. Also, I would suggest to brighten the pictures a bit before printing them as they tend to print a tad darker. Will take some test prints to get used to the quality that prints out. Very convenient to finally print some pictures from your phone.

Thought a little portable inkless printer was a great idea. Works as advertised BUT the color of the prints aren't great, way over saturated and warm. Even using the app to lighten and edit the photo, the prints aren't near what they really are on your phone. HP needs to update their firmware and correct this

It is small and handy. Definitely decent for the price. But I've definitely seen better ones. The print doesn't come out exactly like the picture on your phone in regards to color/tone. Definitely requires you to mess with the colors so it prints accurately.

Bought this for my wife because she thought it would be fun to print small pics of our kids on the fly The pics come out very blurry, it is convenient and for what it is, it’s not to bad. Would be fun for kids and teenagers who want to print pics of there friends

It’s like another toy. The kids only use it for the first week then forget about it. Overall, it is easy to use but they still use their Polaroid more often. The film is cheaper and multiple users can link up but not at the same time. Overpriced

It’s very easy to use and the app is nice to add messages on the pics however the quality doesn’t print the same as u see it on your phone in the app. Meaning the pic can come out with colors blending and a very grainy look to them

Bought this for daughters bday, so kids can take photos and print. as the equipment does not hold many sheets, we constantly had to reload, the speed was just ok, wish it was a bit faster. The price is a bit on the high end.

Nice small printer, prints really fast BUT the problem is the print sheets , they’re really horrible quality. For that reason I took back to the store not worth all that amount of money.

Very simple to use. Small enough to take anywhere. Photos come out good but also some don’t come out so good either because on some you can see some weird lining on it.
