This photo printer is perfect for those of us that love to take photos with our phones but can't be bothered to go to Walgreens to print them out. The printer comes with everything you need to get started. It is completely controlled through an app on your smartphone. The app has some limited editing capabilities as well as some throw away "fun things" like stickers and borders. From what I can tell there is only one variety of paper that you can use with this printer. It comes in a pack of 80 which includes two toner cartridges. At first I thought the price was a little steep until I did the math, which comes out to less than 44 cents per picture. I'm not sure how expensive it is to print out a 4x6 at the drug store, but 44 cents is worth the convenience for me. As far as quality is concerned, I would say that it is decent. In fact, for its size and price, it's pretty good. If you print a photo as-is, then it looks really good, but if you enlarge it or make any alterations, then your photo can start to look cartoony. If I had to make one complaint it would be that the power cord is in a spot that can block how the photo spits out. But, this isn't a huge issue if you pay attention. One request for the app would be to include a measurement grid so you can plan out framing compositions. I have a multi-photo frame with 3.5" openings and I wasted 3 or 4 sheets of photo paper trying to get the subject matter of one photo to fit. All-in-all I think this printer is great for its price. You get really good quality 4x6 photos in the convenience of your home. It takes roughly one minute per photo. Perfect for photo albums, scrapbooking or making a baby book. I only worry that because this printer requires such a specific type of paper and specific toner cartridge (only sold together) that it may become difficult to get refills. For now though, my mom will be ecstatic to get physical photos of her granddaughter in her Christmas card this year.

Nice little printer from HP. The Sprocket Studio prints up to 4x6, which is the largest of their sprocket line, powered by the HP Sprocket App. This is great for people who are taking primarily phone photos and want to print some, but don't care to buy prints online or from a photo shop. This printer is Bluetooth and portable, but not designed to be used on the go as it is packaged. It can be used with an optional battery and I think they make a carrying case for it as well, that would make it work better on the road. Print quality is surprisingly good because of the sublimated dye ink. The best part of this kind of ink is that it will not dry out as easily as regular ink printers that you're used to from HP. Refills include 80 sheets of paper and a dye ribbon and clock in somewhere in the $0.45/photo. Prints do take about 35 seconds, and if you watch it will actually apply one color at a time. Lots of options in the Sprocket app like a print queue and filters. Build quailty is solid with textured white plastics and a nice speckled design on the top. I would almost descrbe the aesthetics as an "iWhite" but it's more modern than that. Overall this thing works great and I like it a lot. If you aren't someone who already has a nice inkjet at home, but you enjoy making an occasional print, this is for you!

I've always wanted one of these, and I'm so happy to have one! This photo printer hooks right to your phone through bluetooth , and it is SO easy to use. The Sprocket app walks you through every step of installation, as well as shows you all of the fun says you can edit your photos before printing. I'm having so much fun with it already! It's also nice to be able to print a picture straight from my phone without having to go to a store or something. Very convenient!

The HP Sprocket Studio and its APP are simple to use. The APP has basic editing features that can help compliment the photos printed from the HP Sprocket Studio printer. I used my new iPhone 11 Max Pro, which has an excellent camera, to take recent photos. I printed the photos using the HP Sprocket APP. The photos were of photo lab quality. They looked amazing. The HP Sprocket Studio can be an entertaining component at parties and family holiday gatherings

The printer does exactly what it says and prints high quality photos. Setup is fast and easy, all done from the app. I highly recommend this photo printer if you're looking for a device that prints high quality photos.

This printer was extremely simple to set up. The app gave every instruction necessary and made it quite easy to pick and print photos. The only downside is that it makes the crop adjustments for you, and there's no intuitive way that I can see to adjust that. The printouts are a little more complicated than I thought they would be, in that it comes out the back and front a few times before it ejects the photo completely, but nothing that I had to do other than leave 5 to 6 inches of space behind the printer. The photos I printed came out much better than I expected based on how they look on my smaller phone screen, so I am very happy with this product.

Photo Printer looks so cool and cute. I really liked the design, shape and look. The package comes with everything except installation setup, which you can get it in app, Once you install the app, that will guide you on installation setup which is good and straight forward. You get some 4"x 6" Cards with the printer, so that you can use the printer right away. Pros: 1. Good design, looks cute. 2. Photo app is good. 3. Price Cons: 1. I did not like the quality of the photo. The biggest disappointment for me is quality of the photo, I printed some random pics from my iPhone, some photos with high visibility light, some low light, portrait photo etc... Honestly if i compare printed photo with whatever i see in my phone, i see look and feel differences, I agree quality will change when compare to phone, but i have seen photo printers which give good quality. I am not saying this is bad, It is not up to my expectations mark. But we should also consider the price :) not just quality, I feel for the listed price it is worth to consider.

The easiest setup of a printer I've had so far! Works from my note 10 perfectly. I love watching the photo paper run through the machine 4 times to lay down the color layer by layer. I haven't priced the ink cartridge or paper yet, but for 4x6 prints, I wouldn't hesitate to use this before any other printer.

The printer is very cute and looks great on a shelf. The prints come out looking great and it’s convenient to have quick photo printing at home. Setup is quick and easy. I had a photo printed in under five minutes of opening the box. However the large unusual footprint of the machine and the expensive photo paper outweigh the practicality, unless you’ve got the desk/office space and money to burn.

    Not worth the money

Bought this for my wife. Worked for a couple months and then wouldn’t connect to her phone. Tried uninstalling the app, restarting the printer, changing the paper and changing the cartridge. The paper jammed on the perforations four different times and then when we took out the cartridge to check it and it won’t go back in. HP has been impossible to get ahold of. Not worth the money and time spent. Just use a photo printing service.

Never worked. Didn’t get one picture printed before it started malfunctioning and ruined the cartridge. Wanted to exchange it, but Best Buy’s exchange policy for Christmas gifts is a joke and way shorter than many of their competitors. Overall a pretty bad experience.
