My LG Leon ran out of memory and there was no way to expand it anymore, hence I researched all of the available options and this Huawei Mate SE cannot be beat at this price point. With a 2.63G processor, it is extremely fast and with 64K of memory you will not run out of room soon, even with the installed apps that can be deleted. A 16MP rear camera offers special effects and takes sharp pictures. The battery life is also excellent. There is no better phone for less than $250 on the market. The only downside is that even with the fingerprint sensor, I notice that it will pocket dial sometimes, not quite sure why. The government has issued warnings about Huawei, but if they want to spy on me, the only thing that they will discover is that I watch a lot of "Mr. Ed" reruns on You Tube and that Wilber must be a secret agent affiliated with Jethro Bodine. They will try to figure out how a horse can talk.

Before I purchased phone Huawei Mate SE 4G LTE I read many reviews. I was very surprised that many people gave so high rating (close to 5 stars) to this phone! This metal designed 5.93” phone look very gorgeous I don’t think that you can find Android phone for $250 with similar parameters: Dual Sim Card, 2160 x 1080 FHD screen resolution, the dual-lens 16MP + 2MP rear camera, 4GB RAM, 64 GB storage + Micro SD compatible up to 256GB. It also has a US Waranty. Overall, I’m very happy with this phone and recommend it to anyone!

After a LOT of research I purchased the Huawei Mate SE to replace a Samsung Note. This is quite possibly the best phone I have ever owned, and thanks to political pressure Best Buy has dropped the brand. Hoping that they get Huawei back in stores before I need another phone. I get nearly 2 days of battery life, there's plenty of storage, and the 4GB of memory and speedy processor handle every app I have thrown at it.

Good phone! Only criticisms are the micro-usb and no fast charge. Just seems backward to not use usb-c. The charging time is still not bad. It is pretty quick. I don’t game or anything but I do like to multi task and I have had 0 problems. Finger print sensor is really responsive and super convenient. For $200 I don’t think it gets much better.

This phone is great so far. Very fast, haven't had any lag. The camera is pretty good. No, it's not iPhone or Samsung quality but you're also paying a quarter of what those phones costs. The finger print sensor is very fast. It looks and feels premium. It is definitely worth the money if you don't wanna pay almost $1,000 for a phone but still want good phone.

My Oneplus battery was dying and the only option I had was to get a new phone after my attempt to replace the battery failed. I compared all phones in the market vs my usage and needs. Huawei Mate SE fit the bill nicely. There was no point in spending $300-400 more for the features I will hardly or never use. Mate SE has everything I need plus extras. I have no complain so far.

Have had this phone for a little over a year now (I believe) and it hasn't let me down. Still fast and responsive with a long battery life. This phone is freaking incredible at $200. I would call it a budget phone, but it has all of the specs that the name brand phones had at the time. Will continue to buy Huawei for the foreseeable future.

The device is very well equipped at its $250 price point with an octa-core CPU, a Mali T830 GPU for gaming and other things, dual lens camera, 5.9in 2160x1080p FHD+ display, 4gb of ram with 64gb of storage expandable to 256gb and it also supports quick charging. With specs like that it rivals some high-end devices , the best mid-range smartphone to date.

We are an Android family. Both my grown kids have the Galaxy S8. I could not afford one right now so I researched phones for about a month. This phone really stacks up. I have had it for a little over 2 months and i love it. Operates on Android. So happy with my purchase. Great graphics. So colorful. Great camera. Google play downloads fast.

The phone has a beautiful screen and takes good pictures. It's nice that it comes with a case which is suitable for my needs. Since it uses micro USB the charging is slow, but I expected that. The battery life is great which offsets the slow charging. For the price I would buy it again.

This phone was purchased as my Mate 9 was taken from me and I needed something to hold over as I was certain that I was going to be able to get it back. The Mate SE holds it's own to the 9 in almost every way except for a couple. This is a fast, smooth phone with a great camera, great sound, and a beautiful screen. It has already updated itself to Android 8.0. The only complaints I have are that the fingerprint reader will fail if you have the slightest amount of sweat or debris on your finger (the 9 will read a finger full of grease while working on a car) and the fact that it still uses microUSB instead of USB-C. Overall it is a great deal. My girlfriend has the Moto G5S Plus SE and I would choose the Mate SE over it (albeit a close race).

Ignore all the crap that this phone spies on you. It's not true. This one on of the best phones I have ever used. It's nice and quick loading, has a large amount of storage, fairly priced, haven't had a single thing go wrong yet.

Purchased this phone as a replacement for my wife because she broke her s8. Honestly I think it was a really good deal. For the value I was impressed. Honestly it changed my mind in getting phones through the major carriers.

I owned this phone for at least 2 years by now. with no problem whatsoever, The battery still good after the period of time. I inserted a 512Gb micro SD Card, it detects and works. So far has been working well in some countries in Europe and in Asia. The auto connect to remote control (for selfie stick) does not work good, but when I use a Huawei remote control, it connects without issues.

The new Huawei mate se is well worth the buy if your searching for an unlock phone. The finger sensor is superb with outstanding functionality- does what it was design to do, unlock the screen. My previous phone had a finger sensor and power button combo- wasn't really fond of it because too much pressure will take me to the power off screen and not enough pressure resulted in wrong fingerprint. Not to mention, the the phone fits perfectly in the palm of my hands with its 5.9 inch screen size. Love it how my fingers don't cramp no more! Definitely recommend to those looking for easy design and functionality!

This is our 4th Huawei phone so that should let you know how well we like them as you get a lot of features for a lot less cost than the more known name brands. Unfortunetly Best buy has decided not to carry them anymore. I have my thoughts as to why but I will keep them to myself. But you should be happy with this phone if you buy it.

Decided to go unlocked to get away from phone payments. Couldn’t be happier with the performance of this phone. It has most of the high end features of phones costing $800+ for a quarter of the price. My favorite features of this phone are dual sim (so I can use one phone for both my personal and work lines), dual rear camera to take those fancy pictures like the iPhone, and the high capacity RAM and storage. This phone is definitely light years away from other phones in the same price range.
