Tye headset is great, and I noticed a massive improvment with the mic when i fownloaded their software and turned on mic monitoring. Also turnj g discord to 200% seemed to fix the quiet issues I had. The battery life is voodoo magic. My last headset requited a charge before each gaming session. I charged this one once, and Im on my 8th game night at 93% battery life.

Owned for 11 days as of this review, and so far the battery is exactly as it says on the box (currently at 60% as of typing this review), which is amazing! I upgraded from the Cloud II Wireless, and it's definitely a suitable upgrade. Somewhat of a nitpick, but I was using both the Cloud II and the Cloud Alphas with a VR headset wirelessly, and the Cloud IIs never cut out from any wireless interference, but the Cloud Alphas did sometimes, so something to keep in mind if you are planning to use these in a space with a lot of wireless interference. My other nitpick is that it takes a lot longer to power up because it tells you "Power on, battery is at X%, Connected", which I wish it was like the Cloud IIs where you would just hear a beep and it's operational. Overall, the audio quality and battery is a nice step-up over the Cloud II Wireless. Would recommend looking to stay within the HyperX lineup and want a bit more.

I mostly needed a new headset for work calls as I am remote IT Support. My current headset was having all kinds of problems in calls and connected with Bluetooth. MY previous headset didn't have any problems and used a 2.4Ghz USB dongle like this Cloud Alpha. I had read about the insane battery life and thought that would be good for work as well. I also like the design of the microphone. No moving parts to fray cables like headsets I've had in the past. Like the other reviews for this headset I picked up a pair of Wicked Cushions to replace the ear cushions that came with the headset. Definitely worth it! I picked up the cooling gel cushions and while they do still get warm you don't really realize it until you take them off and put them back on again. They definitely increase the comfort of the headset though. Since I mostly use them for calls and listening to audio I can't say how they perform for games. Music sounds great in them though and I can hear my calls crystal clear. Would definitely recommend!

Added this head set as an alternative to my wired headset of the same make/model because I kept carching the cable and draging it off the desk. These headsets take a beating not like the ones with the plastic frames. The battery life is unreal, I charged it when I bought it and it's srill 40%

I bought this headset 13 months ago, I've only charged it 3 times! I'm a gamer so the headset is on at least 3-6 hours a day. The battery life is insane! The sound is great and you have the ability for side tone so you can hear yourself. Playing FPS I can distinctly hear the footstep directions without any issues. I highly recommend this setup for anyone that hates having to charge their headset all the time. The headset itself does not feel cheap and has remained sturdy this whole time. Couldn't ask for anything better!!

Overall content with my purchase. The headset has a great range to be able to go in different rooms and not lose connection. It's only been 1 month, but they've been great thus far.

Best headset you’ll ever own. Guaranteed. I’ve ran this thing 9 days now. Is at 70% battery. I haven’t charged it since I bought it. Insane sound. I can hear so well. From all directions. Hands down, the best headset money can buy. The only thing that I would say sucks is the generic application they use. Maybe they will do better with the application in the future.

Good sounds quality for mid-price wireless headset. Very comfortable and good quality for the Mic as well. I also like having the removeable 1/8" Mic to replace in case it gets damaged. The wireless distance doesn't go too far and gets easily interfered with which is something you don't experience with much more expensive headsets ($200+ range)

Overall a great product! I’ve had mine since July and have had no issues. The battery life is amazing. I game about 20-30 hours a week and a single charge lasts me about 2-3 weeks. Sound quality is another huge thing. With the hyper x control panel it’s great to adjust how and where you want the sound to come from. I will be buying hyper x headsets from now on!!

good feel, good sound, good comfort. battery life is insane and the only reason im keeping it. on PC DTS audio dose not work, sound eq in ngenuity dos not work. i have installed ngenuity and dts over and over it only works randomly. if i restart my pc over and over maybe on the 20th restart it will work. when the DTS and EQ are running it sounds pretty good. when it dosnt want to work, for the money i think they sound like crap. way to tinny no base no sound stage space. this would be 5 star for sure if the software worked, but it dosnt so this is a very average headset with a good mic and a great battery.

Had it for a year and still as good as day 1.. Always been a fan of hyper x, this was my first wireless, and I will never get another wired one. I was worried about battery life. This headset has amazing battery life, it’s comfortable, easy to set up, 100% worth it.

A little more expensive than I was anticipating, however we’ll worth the price. The entire unit feels like quality material, and battery life is extraordinary. Overall, if you’ve got the extra cash to spend on your peripherals I’d recommend this quality headset.

So far so good, have only had the headset for going on a month. Sound is good and defined and the bass is passable for a wireless headset. The hyperx software is simple and intuitive, the battery life and aluminum construction is definitely the selling point for the price. My only complaints are the mic is not as sensitive even with gain upped a couple decibels and the ear cups a tad on the shallow side so the top edge of my ears rub a little on the inside foam but your mileage may vary.
