This adapter does exactly what it is supposed to do. My wife is a fitness instructor and uses this in different configurations at various health clubs.

The adapters been around for years. Some electronics have 1/8 or 1/4 inch receptacles, this adapter changes your 1/8 inch male into a 1/4 inch male jack .
