    Horrible Assembly, Great Looking Cabinet

This cabinet gets a 2 star rating for assembly and a 4 star rating for looks and design. The assembly instructions say you simply need a Phillips screwdriver. In reality, I needed a power drill to get the screws in all the way. If you do not drill in the screws all the way, the locking caps will not fit in the proper holes to secure the screws in place and the three middle boards will sway. On the bottom back of the cabinet, there are no pre-drilled holes meaning you have to make them yourself (which, once again, means you need a power drill). There were also a few instances where the instructions were not completely clear (usually having to do with which boards are front facing or back facing). As for the looks and design, the final product looks great. The shelving units on the bottom left and bottom right are adjustable where you can set them high, low, or in the middle (review pictures show the shelving boards in their middle placement options). The only complaint I have about the design of the cabinet is the bottom right section. It has a door with hinges on the right-hand side, but the door looks like a sliding shelving unit. It is nearly identical to the left side except for the magnet and different holes in the back. In summary, if you purchase this cabinet, be sure you have a powered screwdriver/drill handy. The cabinet looks great, just be aware the board with handles in it is a door and does not slide open.

It’s a nice cabinet but only 3 stars because some of the predrilled holes did not line up. I’ve tried it in different ways and am 100% sure the holes were in the wrong spot. See photo. Luckily I’m pretty handy and have a drill but this should not have been necessary.

I have put a many of things together. The military made sure of that. But this gave me a fit putting it together. The manual is not for people with poor vision. I tried from 2000 (8pm) to 2400 (midnight) trying my little heart out. Trying to see the diagrams as a guide. It did not work at all. Because I couldn’t see it. I tried YouTube and Insignia that did not work either. I finally gave up and knew I had been defeated. I had to hire a 20+ year old that told me it wasn’t me (God Bless him). He stated that the diagram pictures were small and it gave him a little trouble seeing as well. So this is why I rated so low. I loved the product after he completed it.

    Nice Stand, Mildly Problematic Assembly

I like this TV cabinet. It looks nice, it's relatively sturdy and there are enough options to customize things to your setup. I feel that the price is fair. It even came with a paint pen for touch-ups later if needed. That said, assembly could be better. It took about two hours to put together. Instructions are very clear and the hardware was put into a package that kept it sorted, which is a nice touch compared to similar flat-pack furniture. It all went well until it came time to put the back panels on. According to the instructions, there should have been a number of holes drilled in the back to attach the back panels. The back panels had the holes in them, but the actual cabinet pieces did not. After about five minutes of re-reading instructions, double checking to make sure I didn't put it together wrong and second guessing myself, I realized that this step had simply been missed in manufacturing. Fortunately, I have a drill and found that a 5/64" drill bit worked well for the holes. The rest of assembly went by without a hitch. Tools I used in assembly: Knife for unpacking Phillips #2 screwdriver (full-length) Stubby Phillips #2 screwdriver for some tight areas Electric drill 5/64" drill bit

Nice, but difficult to put together...

The product looks amazing and has plenty of space for electronics, books, movies, etc. However, the assembly process is quite difficult and took me about 4 hours. There is no way someone could do this solo in an hour without ever doing it before. I appreciate the instructions and they were very helpful, but there are dozens of screws and parts you need to put together and for some steps, its possibly a two person job. A few of the holes were also slightly off so I had to battle with the parts for a good 30 to 45 minutes. Not to mention the two back boards that cover the backside, you need a drill to make the holes for the screws as they are not already made. I will give it 3 stars because it looks very nice, it is priced very fair for the quality, and is exactly what I needed for my 50" TV. It loses 2 stars unfortunately because it does require a lot of time and patience to build it so be mindful of that if you plan on purchasing this product. One last thing I would like to mention is that the 1 year warranty states that if it was bought at Best Buy, you must take it to Best Buy in its original box or similar box offering same protection as it came in. That is ridiculous because everything came packed into a box and I wouldnt dare disassemble and reassemble to try to fit it into a box. It does look very solid and strong and hopefully it will last several years so I dont have to mess with the warranty.

Decent material and now that it is assembled it looks nice. This took us about 5+ hours to assemble so would not want to revisit the time and effort for a TV gaming cabinet. Next time will look for an all-ready-assembled table. Called the number for some assistance on the last portion of assembly and after being disconnected 3x's (not American workers), gave up and used a drill as the main frame was missing about 10 holes for screws.

The entertainment center looks great put together, but its a pain in the but to put together. It took me and someone else just to put this one together, also be aware that there are supposed to be some holes already drilled for you. In our case there wasn't many at all. In the end though this piece looks great in our apartment, but it just is a pain to put together.

Easy set up, looks nice. The door on the right side is all one piece, though it has two handles. Biggest concern is that the middle vertical space is not tall enough to fit a PS5.

I should probably have realized not to expect too much for this kind of money. The material is pressed wood and will damage to any overexertion of pressure (e.g. tightening a screw just a bit too tight). Directions are decent and reasonably easy to follow, but it is much too easy to confuse the way it wants you to face each part and you can easily install it upside down or facing the wrong direction. This could easily be remedied by making a mark on one corner of each piece of wood and referencing that mark in the instructions. When finished, there is not much area that actually touches the floor. Because of this, the finished product is wobbly on carpets. Installing the back is not straightforward because there aren't enough holes in the back of the unit and because it is again unclear as to which holes to use. Aside from this, the final product is decent but I suggest limiting the weight that you place in/on it (directions are quite clear on this). Took me 5 hours to put together.

Product came needing assembly - however there were holes missing and holes in places not needed. A bit of a challenge to put together. But the final product looks fantastic.

Looks good when put together, but found a number of holes did not match where they were supposed to be and had to force parts of it together, resulting in a longer than necessary length of time to assemble.

This television stand is decent. The size is perfect. My only issue with it is that the instructions for putting it together are not very easy and it takes 2 people.

Really the only reason I didn't rate this higher is that there was a lot to putting it together, quite a few screws and tons of little nails for the back. That being said, it was well worth it. We bought this for our daughters first apartment and when we compared the price oil this piece to others that looked like it, this was about half the price It was worth the extra effort!

Okay cabinet entertainment center but Insignia customer service is bad. Make sure you have all your parts to put this together or it will be hard to find any replacements during this time. Insignia themselves did not over to let me know when a cam screw would be available after I was short a one.

I had this for a few days and returned it. It was the last one they had and the box was damaged when I opened it the corner was dented a little. But if you need a smaller more bulky stand this can fit that bill. Price is too high for quality

Got interested on looking at it as it was looking like an antique piece. But tool 4+ hrs to fix it up. Just not that simple and easy. But once fixed, its looking good. But that much as i was expecting it to be. For the cost, it was not completely worth. But it serves the purpose.

This is an okay TV stand for my 55" TV. The wood grain is much darker than the picture shows. The assembly was easy enough until adding the back panel. The holes did not line up with the main cabinet, not even close. I had to use an awl to make new holes that line up.
