Let me start by saying I have bought so many different types and brands of these speakers that it's unbelievable. I have had at least 20+. (I've given all but 1 away now...) This is the best 1 Hands Down!!!! It is heavy enough to give just enough loud but not shaky-sounding bass, as well as supreme quality sound with the mid's low's & high's too! I've never had this brand speaker before but it connected easily via Bluetooth & I think it'd be SOOO perfect for a pool party w the EXTREMELY long lasting battery! & the loud sound that actually has some range to it! Or u could even just listen to it while you clean or vacuum around the house. Not one wire needed! I Adore this! I've never been so happy with a speaker as I am with this 1!!! I say if you are on the fence, buy it or you'll regret it! :) That's just in MY opinion. Hagd!

I have to say the price I paid for it has been worth it. Very affordable and it has a great sound. I like that it's Bluetooth and I don't have to be so close to the speaker with my phone. Another plus is you can charge your phone or other devices with it.

I enjoyed a couple of weeks of playing golf with my son-in-law in the Lake Charles Louisiana area a couple of months ago. I found it interesting that nearly everyone in a golf cart on those courses had a portable speaker bluetoothed to their mobile device enjoying music between shots. Rather than being distracting as I would have thought as a traditional golfer, it lightened the atmosphere and I found it relaxing and enjoyable. So when I returned to the Washington Metro Area I decided to pick up one I could use. I didn't want to spend too much as it'll likely get banged around a bit bouncing in a golf cart or thrown in my golf bag and probably get exposed to the elements as I play in the rain, snow, etc. So when I saw this on sale for less than $30 and the reviews looked pretty good I nabbed one. In addition to the price and reviews I liked the fact that this unit provided the ability to charge other devices - blue-toothing an iphone for a 5 hour round of golf while using an iphone app to determine yardage to the hole can drain the phone's battery fairly quickly so I figure this bit would come in handy. So how do I like it? For the price it's hard to complain so I won't. The unit seems pretty rugged. It seems like it'll be fine in the weather. It's certainly heavy enough to not bounce around too much. The neon colors available make it less likely that I'll accidentally leave it behind somewhere. The device charging piece works well. It's quite easy to use. In terms of sound quality, it's OK. Make no mistake, this is not a Bose speaker. A lot more bass would be nice. Having the ability to tune the bass/treble, etc would be nice. The volume range is adequate for riding in a golf cart or playing music on a deck table while you smoke a cigar and drink a beer. The sound will not fill a room. You won't be using this instead of your Sonos or to power your party. I'd view it as a portable personal speaker. OK, I said I wouldn't complain but I'll offer two improvements they might make that would make it a 3+. 1) the "buttons" on top of the unit control the volume, allow you to answer the phone or make a call, etc. The buttons have the normal symbols on them +, -, >>, <<, but they're the same color as the rest of the unit so they're very difficult to see (especially if you're not right on top of the unit and/or don't have your reading glasses on). I used a little black magic marker on my neon red speakers to fill in the indentations for the symbols .... it's not 'pretty' but it makes it much more user friendly. 2) Every time you change the volume the darn thing BEEPS. I say BEEPS in caps because it's a loud beep for every push of the button or touch of the volume slider on your iphone. THIS is quite annoying. How about a smooth change in volume without the darn beep! So, depending on what you're looking for this may or may not be a unit that interests you. While it's adequate for me and my purpose I would have been disappointed if I had paid more than the $29 or whatever it was that I paid. So when I check the "would recommend to a friend" I would also give him or her the caveats discussed here.

Set this speaker up with my desktop to save desk space. Fits perfect centered in front of the monitor. Very surprised at the sound quality for such a small speaker. Seems to hold a charge for quite awhile. No trouble connecting with Bluetooth and it's perfect for streaming from my cell phone or laptop as well.

I liked that it played really well with my phone and the other devices I tested inside the house but it wasn’t so great outside. I knew it wouldn’t of been as loud due to open space but I really couldn’t enjoy the music as much. Well the event I brought it for is done and I love using it in my bathroom to get me in a good mood while I shower. It’s loud enough to cover my bad singing, so that’s a plus. And my 3yr old loves dancing and singing with it as well.

This speaker has great sound, paired with my phone easily, worked well with my iPod Classic (when I remembered to turn it on first) and has good battery life. It is a bi-directional Bluetooth device that acts as a speakerphone when paired with my Android phone. It's about the size of two average paperback books

I bought this for $25 and it connected easily to my Galaxy S5. Sound is great and plenty loud. Love the fact that the internal battery has so much capacity. I haven't tested it camping yet, but I remember friends brought their Bose Mini Bluetooth speaker and was looking for a charger after a few hours of use. At this price, I could have bought 8-Insignia speakers. One qualm I have is the embossed controls. In low light, it's impossible to see which button does what. It should have contrasting embossing on the buttons. It's a power bank as well though I couldn't find anything in the documentation as to its capacity.

Great for charging on the go ,hard to sync with devices 6 out of 10 times,volume is Ok for immediate surroundings but to much bass at times,playing some songs ,cuts off and hard to sync back at times ,u get what u pay for. Ok for $ 30

Thought it will be a good attachment to the laptop but realized later that it will work just with a USB too

I wanted a speaker for the deck for when I am out working in the yard or relaxing. I didn't want to invest a lot for what I saw as a outdoor summer throwaway item. I am so pleasantly surprised with the quality of this speaker. The sound is crisp and clear with a strong bass, which is usually missing with less expensive speakers. It also has a very decent battery life. Shortly after purchasing, we had a power outage. I thought of my speaker and was able to have hours of entertainment. Great deal, definitely not a throw away.

This (these) was (were) a gift (s) for a nephew (gave the niece a black one). I have had two of these for quite a while and really liked them. Sounds as good as "primo" brand names and cost much less (especially at the $24.99 sale price). Battery lasts a LONG time plus your cell phone can be charged from it as well. (can't charge the phone and use the speaker at the same time, but that's not a deal breaker.) My advice is get 'em while you still can, especially at the sale price, I think you'll be pleased.

At first my father wanted a speaker for his tablet. After some searching and reading reviews, I bought this speaker and the previous version of this speaker for him to try. Between the two it was under $40 and they were well worth the price. But, this speaker ended up being used for more than just his tablet. Now, the previous version of this speaker, he uses for portability -he can turn on his music streaming on his tablet, leave the tablet and take his speaker anywhere in the house. This speaker, he uses as a stay in one place speaker, due to it's ports on the speaker. With this speaker he can hook up his iPod and listen to it or charge it. This was very useful as his original iPod docking speaker decided to just stop working after 10 years of use. So, now he can listen to his iPod through a speaker again. He says that the sound with this speaker is better than the Logitech iPod dock/speaker (originally paid $80 - 10 years ago). Only major difference is that the Logitech dock had a remote with it, so he is a little bummed that he cannot use a remote anymore. For me, the sound is great... Clear and Loud... and has more bass than the previous version of this speaker. I also like the battery size of this, and that it could be used as a powerbank if need be - this could come in handy if in an emergency situation like a Hurricane, etc... If i could, I would give this speaker 5.5 stars as it is a notch above the previous version of this speaker. I would purchase this speaker again and recommend it. But, if you want a speaker to be a little bit more portable, then go for the previous version of this speaker.

We love this speaker. We have had ours for at least three years now and we bought one for my brother for his birthday. This is a great speaker. Good sound for its size and good deal for the price. I am sure that the more expensive speakers might have better sound quality, but we haven’t had trouble with the batter or connectivity and for the price point, I think that is most important.

This low cost Bluetooth speaker will not disappoint! It will not give you window shattering bass but will give rich clean sound to fill an average size room. The rechargeable battery lasts me weeks before a recharge and features a “battery bank” that allows you to charge other devices via usb. Can’t go wrong here! FYI I just purchased a second one

Bought this on sale for $29. I wanted something portable to plug my mp3 player into. The sound is really good. I've never run it out of power. No need to charge it every day. Being able to use it as a power bank has come in useful a couple times to charge my cell phone. This speaker also doesn't take very long to charge. I'm really glad I bought it.

This was on sale and I had a $5 gift card, so I opted to get this for $16.45 after taxes and my coupon and the sale. Really!?! This compares to a Braves I bought off QVC for $100 several years ago. It is a charging device, so it can charge your cell phone and or iPad. It also acts as a speaker phone. On top of this, it’s a Bluetooth speaker DUH! It has an input jack if your device doesn’t have Bluetooth capability. It is a little heavy due to the battery, but not a big deal as it can charge your devices and has A 30 to 40 hour battery life. One spot says 30, another says 40. When I use it at work, I just charge it once a week and it plays all day long, so it’s a long life battery. The sound is very good! It’s not a home audio system good, but it is very good. I prefer my Bose, and I have the colormate. I think the sound link sounds better than the color ate to give you a comparison. This definitely has a place though, especially at $40 or less. I love that I got it for $16.45, a steal of a deal. I have now bought 3 of these.

This Bluetooth speaker sounds as good or better than units costing much more. Its got good volume and nice bass for it's size. We love to use it when we're camping. It's great for listening to tunes around the he campfire without disturbing all of our neighbors. I loved it so much that I bought a second one for the house.

I bought this Bluetooth speaker based on the reviews. The initial charge to my pc took a couple of hours. A usb cord is included, but a wall adapter is not. My windows phone paired instantly with the device named NS-SPBTBRICK. I downloaded a free mp3 music player on my phone and I was on my way. You can control the volume from your phone which is great. For a small speaker this has great sound. On my patio when playing, people cannot believe the sound quality. When I receive a text, a message plays over my speaker alerting me. I am not sure if all phones can do this. I have not tried IPod or IPhone sync yet, but I'm sure it will perform the same. An added plus is that you can charge your phone from this device. I have been using speaker for about 3 days, and charge is still good. I would rate this 4 1/2 *.
