This is one of those rare instances where you can actually get more than you paid for. I got the Insignia bluetooth speaker (CSPBTHOL16-BL) on sale for $15. I wasn’t expecting much, as I purchased it for use in my garage. At first, the sound was very narrow and flat, but I figured out that I can make it sound louder with better bass response by putting it on a wood/solid surface and tilting the speaker up slightly (best thing to use for tilting it up is sticking a couple small felt pads on the base of the speaker toward the front). The wood surface & slight angle adjustment turned an initially weak sounding speaker into something much better than a $15 price would suggest. I’d put the quality just under a Sony XB20. Granted, it took some trial-and-error on my part to get the sound how I wanted it, but that’s a trade off I am more than willing to make for the performance (and conference call features) I am now enjoying for just $15.

For the price this is a great Bluetooth speaker. I use mine with my IPhone 7+ and love it.

I purchased this Insignia speaker for a little more than $10 and it was worth every penny. It connects easily to my iPhone and has close to 30" of connectivity. The sound is decent for the cost and size. This is a nice option to have on the beach or outside while working. Not a Bose, but it's a good choice for the cost.

I've been using this speaker almost daily now. It holds its charge very well. The sound is decent. The volume is quite strong. Perhaps a similar product from Bose might be clearer in terms of clarity, but this one isn't bad either. For the price it is a very good purchase.

I was walking around Best Buy looking for bargains and came across a display and BB was selling this speaker for $10. Sold! I took it home and I didn't even need to charge the battery before using it. It was a snap connecting to my iPhone. I tried some music using my Pandora app and the sound quality, for a speaker this compact, was very good and loud enough to be heard during a get together I had. Volume is adjustable and there is a convenient button for answering phone calls if you happen to be using it in the car, although I haven't tried that yet. The build quality is good, it's a nice looking speaker, and seems quite hefty for the size. You do have an option of connecting by a standard audio cable for connecting a non-bluetooth audio device such as an iPod. For the money, this was a real bargain.

I got this on sale for 9.99 and it was well worth the price. It connects quickly and doesn’t disconnect. It has great battery life. The sound quality is good but if you want volume go with a bigger speaker.

This is my first Bluetooth speaker, bought it on Black Friday for $9.99! I know Insignia is Best Buy's cheap store brand, so I wasn't expecting it to be that great, but I was wrong. The sound is incredible for such a little speaker. Obviously the bass isn't gonna be anything special for such small drivers, but it does have a little passive radiator that adds a bit more punch to the music. It's a significant improvement to say laptop speakers or other mobile device. I use it for watching movies on my tablet while out camping and stuff or playing music on the beach and it's pretty perfect. Obviously I'd love to have a slightly bigger unit with deeper bass and bigger battery for longer play time, but hey for the money this absolutely cannot be beat.

I really liked this speaker. The sound was great and it has a good battery life. I like that it is small but what I don't like is that it is a little heavy.

This speaker sounds great. Volume is real good. For $10 during a black Friday deal is a worth it. All was good but I did not had a pleasant experience when I used it for answering call. There was distortion or there is something wrong with the Bluetooth or mic. Person on the phone could hear me properly at all. Later I switched to phone speakers and it worked very fine. May be I will look for better one by returning this. I would recommend this if One uses only for hearing songs or only hearing purpose.

I was looking for a small, wireless speaker to use when working from home and found this one on sale at a really great price. The sound quality is good for indoor use, though I recommend not leaving it in a separate room. I liked how easy it is to set up and use. Plus, it's pretty lightweight and sturdy. Overall there are better speakers available but at a much higher price. This speaker is perfect for the price, works great in a home office, dorm or when working out at home and won't break the bank.

The Insiginia portable blue tooth speaker works well in that it paired easily and I haven't experienced drop-outs but I haven't tested the range. In normal distance of 20 feet no problems. The speaker is very portable and easily carried to a backyard, a friend's house, etc. Sound quality is better than expected - not saying great. For the price this is a very nice purchase if you have a use for it. At the price this is at, even if you use it once in a great while, it is worth the purchase.

I was able to pick this speaker up for $10, best bang for the buck! Love the camo green color, great to pack it and take it with you to a bbq, pool or simply in the bathroom while you shower. Sure there's much better speakers out there but for less than $10 you are not going to find anything close. I had the previous model as well which is good but just ugly. And if this thing breaks in 6 months I'm only out $10. Get it for kids or if you are on a budget. No regret!

This was on sale for 9.99 when I bought it. I bought this so that I can listen to music while in the bathroom/shower. I was pleasantly surprised at the quality of sound from this inexpensive model. It connects quickly with my phone via bluetooth and holds its charge for a long time (though my phone does not using bluetooth, so I usually plug it in while using this, if possible). Overall, I'd recommend this to anyone needing a bit of music in any room.

Portable speaker was bought few moths ago and works to perfection! Comes with a usb for recharge and easily connected with devices. Volume is pretty loud for a small speaker as such, great for backyard bbq, beach or park time. Charges fully quickly and does go on for about 8 hours long in a full charge. Only small issue is when a person passes by in front of it does cut off but goes back on. Easy to use and portable!

It's Bluetooth and therefore very easy to set up to a Bluetooth device. The sound from this little speaker is very good. Another big plus is that the battery lasts about 5 hours when fully charged. If you connect it to a phone, as I do, when a call comes in the music is stopped and your ringtone comes through the speaker. You just answer the phone as you normally would do. Great speaker for a reasonable price.

I paid $10 for this speaker during the Thanksgiving week sales and for that money I must say it is very good value. No, the sound isn't incredible, however if you are looking for a portable speaker to use whilst your taking a shower, working in the garage, or whatever, you could do a lot worse. The sound is robust in the bass department, and not overly shrill on the treble like so many cheaper speakers.

I purchased this for my son to use outside on the deck or while working in the shop and it works great. Very easy to connect to and the sound quality is great for the price. Volume gets plenty loud enough with bad distortion and overall build quality is good. Battery life seems to be pretty good as well but most of the time we leave it plugged in.

I wanted a portable speaker and picked this item up on the Thanksgiving sale. I wasn't expecting too much given it's price point but have been very impressed so far. The sound is very good and bass is strong but a little uncontrolled. I'm sure the other boxes out there sound much better but for a starter portable speaker and for it's price point, I think this little box is wonderful
