Great at first.

Now the speaker does not hold its charge for very long at all. It will remain on between 10-20 minutes and then shut down. No matter how full the battery shows, it does not last long at all anymore.

Sounds great but...

The battery life on this thing is horrible. I don’t know where they get up to 12 hours of play time. I’m lucky to get 3

Portable speaker

I play at high volume and get 4 hours of play. With its high durability and quality sound, it meets still makes my requirements. And with 4 hours of high volume play, it's enough for me to rock out during my swim training.

It's okay if you want something in this price range but you could do better by spending a bit more. We also bought an Ultimate Ears Boom 2 and for a few more dollars you get a richer sound with the UE.

I purchased the Flip 4 thinking I could pair it with the Flip 3. You can not. Ridiculous the firmware on the speakers is not compatible. I returned the the product.

Posted .Thanks for the review, the Flip 3's Connect feature is totally different from the Flip 4's Connect + feature since the Connect feature can only connect up to 2 devices at the same time but the Connect + feature allows you to connect 100+ devices with the Connect+ feature at the same time which is even better. Good sound but bad design.

Like Mr Brightside by the Killers. And the design of the speaker is bad. The speaker likes to roll off tables and surfaces because of it's design.

Good speaker but average battery

Meh..Sound clarity and bass line

Good for small events
