I never had a kitchen-aid. My grandmother had two! I didnt think I needed this big piece of equipment on my counter. Recently I was discussing with my cousin who also has two, and she asked me how I survived 51 years wo one, lol. Wow, she was right, this thing is amazing! I made dough in it and the machine does all the work. I recently purchased the freezer bowl attachment and will be using to make homemade ice-cream and other frozen desserts. The attachment came with this model for grinding! I can now grind meat or nuts or anything in between. There seems to be nothing this machine cannot do. It is a heavy appliance so you will want to pick a special space on your counter for it and leave it there. This model also has the bowl guard, so pouring in ingredients they are not splashing out of it. The Artisan features the stainless bowl with handle, so easy to use. Absolutely love it! And BestBuy.com had the best price of any retailer! The only thing I was not happy about these appear to come in bulk packaging, not retail packaging, so my box was a plain brown cardboard box said Kitchen-Aid on it, not the pretty box with picture you see on store shelves. But it was all inside brand new and as described. If I had been giving as a gift, the plain box would have been more of an issue, but it is mine all mine, and I already told my daughter, when I pass, it is hers! These last generations!!!

We got married last year, and one of the items my wife always wanted was a Kitchenaid Mixer. We were able to finally purchase it this year, with part of the gifts we received. We used it last week, and it was great, we made some delicious brownies. The difference of using the Kitchenaid to mix it and mixing it manually was impressive. We strongly recommend it. The buying process was easy, and the delivery perfect.

This mixer overall suits my basic needs. I do not need to put parts in a dishwasher so I can't attest to that. The mixing bowl isn't the same level of heavy duty quality as the mixer itself, but it works. The color is attractive. I need to store it in a closet as it is too tall (just over 14") for my cabinet low shelves, and too heavy for other locations. For the infrequent baker/chef, a very good deal when on sale.

The color is so beautiful it is a maroon type of color that doesn't stand out much though. I got this for $240 and with it came a free food grinder attachment. I looked it up online and saw that the attachment usually costs around $40-50 so I was very happy with that. I honestly could not believe that I got a 5 qt. kitchen stand mixer with a food grinder attachment for that price and in the color I wanted. The machine runs smoothly and does not make much noise at all. I just wish there was a hook in the back so that the wire could be tied up. Overall this is an awesome deal!

Bought this on the day of a deal--$250.00 off plus free S/H! I received the mixer, stainless steel bowl, flat beater, wire whip, dough hook, pouring shield, and the grinder attachment with 2 blades. I love it. What a difference between even a heavy-duty hand mixer and a stand mixer! Hope to enjoy this item for years to come.

I've always wanted a stand mixer but never wanted to spend the money. I finally broke down and bought one when it was on a really good sale. We've baked more in the last 3 months then we probably have in the last 3 years.

My last KitchenAid stand-mixer has lasted me 40 years! It still works perfectly, but when I saw this beautiful cinnamon color on such a wonderful sale, I couldn't help myself to a little upgrade. It is gorgeous and works like a dream!

My husband bought this for me for Christmas. Knowing I’d wanted one for years but just couldn’t see spending the money he knew I’d love it. Well, I do love it! It performs well in the mixing/kneading process, and, the meat grinding attachment that I got with it is easy to use and does a great job. It is heavy, so, make sure you have counter space for it cause you won’t be hauling it in an out from a cabinet or pantry to use it. Of course it’s weight is what keeps it stable as it mixes. I love the color, and I’m very happy so far. I will amend my review if there’s any changes.

The tried and true Kitchen Aid stand mixer design has been improved on, and in nearly every color of the rainbow makes it easy to match or compliment any decor. We have used it for cookies, meat grinding and using a mix of lean pork loin and beef tips to make the best meatloaf ever! Scratch made cake, yeast bread, and whipped cream to top strawberry shortcake! Awesome addition to any kitchen! When I was a kid I watched my grandmother use her stand mixer on a daily basis, for mashed potatoes, meat loaf, cakes, bread, cinnamon rolls, pies, and more. I’m hoping to gain half of her kitchen skills. These mixers make a big difference in taking some of the hard work out of cooking.

We had an older kitchen aid so I was familiar with how they work. But I was impressed with how quiet it was and I really liked the rare copper color, nice!

Nice. I didn’t want to replace my original KA mixer with a bowl lift, but the time had come to purchase a a replacement and I couldn’t pass up the Daily Deal. The only color in stock was cinnamon. Nothing in my kitchen is red. But, I found I do like the lift-head just as well as the bowl-lift. The color is a deep red and not a primary fire engine red, so it looks rather elegant.

This was an excellent deal, it came with several accessories and since I'm learning to cook and bake I haven't used everything yet. But...what I have used has been wonderful! It's extremely well built, great quality, and everything I could have hoped for. It's easy to use and it makes me want to use it more, it's that great! Strong motor, easy to clean. Really haven't got a single complaint!

Easy to use and perfect for anything other than very large batches of cookies or bread dough. KA has a mixer for those things and I would recommend buying both mixers if you do the large batches of dough, but also need a mixer for the smaller batches and for recipes other than baking that require mixing of ingredients. Great quality and customer service.

I see why this mixer gets great reviews. A little heavy for me but it mixes nicely and it’s not really loud. It has a tilt head, splash guard and it brought a food grinder which I am excited about. I have used it only a handful of times but I wish I would have purchased one sooner. Also, as others have mentioned Best Buy usually has the best price for these mixers.

I always wanted one for years. So glad I finally got it. Got it on the deal of day which was caused me jump on it. Only used it for mashed potatoes so far. But definitely a blessing. I personally just love this color. O bought a cover for it on Amazon with pockets. Holds and covers.

I have used a Bosch mixer for years with good results. My granddaughter was interested in the KitchenAid because it is about all you see on cooking shows. So I got one to try it out first. I guess it works for some people but I found it to be heavy, loud, difficult to use, and it only did a “half-baked” job of mixing (a little baking humor there). You simply must stop the machine to scrape the bowl at least once, or even multiple times to get everything to mix (I have never had to do that with any recipe with the Bosch) and the thicker doughs tend to climb the hook and make a mess. The machine seems to get quite hot when working on bread dough and there is the smell of grease and such. So after trying a few tasks with it, I took it back. I don’t think it had any defects, other than it is not the best mixer out there. Like I said, not for me. I don’t know why more people don’t use the Bosch. I guess it may be because it looks so different and therefore it is assumed it doesn’t work well. Just bear in mind that a Humvee looks pretty different too but it does many jobs like no other... just sayin.
