The klipsch kc-25 is a great all around center channel. It's great for more than just dialogs. It gives a great range of depth for a center channel.

It was time to upgrade the sound system in my home theater so I listened to the Klipsch Icon speakers at my local Best Buy store. I was very impressed with the sound quality and looks and the price point was good as well. Best Buy had the Klipsch 8" Floor Speakers for half price on Black Friday with free shipping so I decided to get the Klipsch Center Channel at the same time. The speakers were delivered to my door in a couple of days. The 8" floor speakers are fantastic with both music and movies and the center channel just complements them perfectly. Sound/dialogue is clear through the center channel with more of an emphasis on the mid range. Some center channel speakers can sound high pitched or tinny; not this speaker. It's very neutral. I have these speakers powered by an 800 series Onkyo receiver (130W/channel) which works well as the Klipsch speakers like to be driven. I plan to replace my surround speakers and subwoofer with the Klipsch Icon series in the near future. You can't beat the sound quality/value of the complete Klipsch Icon series. If you are looking for a good center channel, look no further!

I carefully listened to this speaker at the store and it was the best one (and the highest price in stock, at $ 249). But this really sounds great; TV speakers are off forever! Augments my 5.1 system of Bose 301's and 161's, Pioneeer sub, and Denon AVR-1912.

The other one-star reviews that were due to a marketing faux-pas should be removed! This center is amazing bang for your buck! I purchased it as part of a bundle with the KF-28 towers and the KS-14 surrounds. They're running on a Denon AVR-1910 (towers in bi-amp mode) and paried with a Sunfire MK II sub. After running audyssey, The whole setup sounds absolutely AMAZING! The center projects voices crisp and clear even at very high volumes and does no fatigue the ear even a little! If you are unsure about this product, please, ignore the one start reviews that had absolutely nothing to do with the product. This is a great center, you will not be disappointed!

I got this to use instead of the speaker that came with my Onkyo home theatre system. It sounds 100 times better than the little onkyo speaker, however- I have the center channel speaker mounted underneath my 70in LED tv, and the center speaker is a monstrosity. I'm sure it has to be that big to sound as good as it does, and it would probably look fine on the console below my tv, but I have my tv on the wall and for a cleaner look had the original center speaker mounted to the wall underneath it- but this one looks ridiculous in the same spot. Other than the size, it's an incredible speaker-- if you are on the fence about buying a high end center speaker- I would def recommend this one. (if you have the space for it.)

This center speaker is awesome! My living room is a bit big. I have this speaker with the pair of bookshelf Klipsch also and sound is incredible. I bought the Polk before returning them since it was a little cheaper but good thing i payed a little bit more for these bad boys. Polk sounded good also but Klipsch took the cake for me. You wont regret it!

I wish I would have bought these a long time ago. No more turning up volume when the actors talk and then turning down the volume when the theatrical noise kicks in. These speakers sound like the actors are right there in the room with you.

I purchased the Klipsch Icon 5-1/4" Center Speaker after comparing it side by side with the Polk Audio CS10. Obviously, the Polk Audio, being $60 cheaper, was a consideration tion, but, after hearing how rich and smooth the sound was with the Klipsch, I was sold. I have it connected to a Denon 2312CI with Infinity TSS-800CHR surrounds and a JBL ES250P 12 inch sub. Eventually I will upgrade the surrounds with Klipsch when I have the space to do so. In the meantime, I highly recommend this center. Awesome, clear sound for the price!

I am using this speaker with a set of Klipsch Icon 5-1/4's (Model KB15) all driven with a Dennon Receiver and powered Sub-Woofer, I was looking for a speaker that was clear and accurate that would deliver the delicate sounds in movies as well as clear dialog without any distortion at higher power levels. This speaker really delivers and perfectly matches the left and right channel Klipsch speakers (mentioned above) sonically and in appearance.

I purchased 1 of these center channel Icon models along with an entire Klipsch home theater speaker setup. At first glance, this center channel speaker seems rather expensive. However, the expense is justified, as with all Klipsch speakers. This center channel is simply amazing. It provides outstanding highs coupled with even more outstanding mids. This speaker creates a great frequency range that works well in all audio situations. As most audiophiles know, the mid range speaker is a very important aspect to any home theater setup. This speaker provides great performance for voice, music and movies. Overall I was extremely impressed with the sound quality of this speaker.

Yes, indeed this is a Center Speaker. I think that is unfair to give it less than 4 stars just because it's not pair of bookshelf speakers as noted on some of the reviews below. This speaker actually performs much better than the KB-15 or the KS-14 - I own both pairs. It might feel that it's price is higher than the other 2 speaker systems as it has only 1 speaker, but it shouldn't be the reason for a lower grading. The sound quality is definitely superior, and it won't deceive you. Clearly when it comes to sound quality for the money, Klipsch is the way to go.
