The UHD aspect makes little difference here...
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. To begin with, I am not one of the many people out there that doesn't think 4k makes a difference. I absolutely LOVE the picture quality of 4k even for certain films that were not "true" 4k,... I can tell a difference for the several UHD discs I have purchased so far.... I love the Labyrinth movie, 5 stars for the movie itself.... This review is based on the UHD aspect of this product. I don't think there was enough improvement in the picture quality to justify purchasing Labyrinth in UHD..... I was skeptical as I purchased Labyrinth on Bluray not long before this and I didn't feel Bluray quality was notably good.... I bought Labyrinth in UHD as many reviewers said the picture was stunning..... My opinion: I can CERTAINLY see improvement in SOME aspects of the picture quality..... For instance, when Sara is going through the bushy part of the labyrinth... The leaves look crisper than ever before.... In the tunnel the glitter on the walls are more noticeable..... I even noticed more details on the Jareth doll in Sara's room and I'm not sure I even noticed that doll at all before..... However, much of the film is still fuzzy/grainy in appearance.... The faces, characters, etc, still look like an 80s film.... I was likely expecting more than they can physically do.... Again, most reviewers over-hyped the results. All in all, great movie, but get it in bluray.... not worth UHD unless it was the same price as bluray.

Dreadful in 4K but Amazing Movie
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Let me start by saying this is one of my favorite movies. David Bowie? Amazing, Brilliant performance! However the 4K transfer is absolutely subpar and looks awful. It looks worse than 1080P. Looks like they blew up a 480i transfer. Seriously I thought I was watching a VHS transfer. And it distracts from an incredible movie. Sound quality was impressive. I rarely give negative reviews but this one justifiably deserves it. Not recommended. Keep your old 1080P or VHS copy.

fun to watch though
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I allways liked this movie so I got the 4K version...only gave it 2 stars due to the 4K version doesn't seem any better than the regular bluray version...

Doesn't hold up to childhood memory. Surprise! :)
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The movie starts off okay, but it just does not hold up to the ravages of time. Poorly acted with a nonsensical story. My kids were not impressed.

cheap entertainment
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I purchased this item deeply discounted. If I had paid full price I would have been disappointed. It's a strange movie- not sure who the target audience is...

Don't see the 4k
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Quality appears the same as blu-ray. It's an older movie so it's kinda expected. If you already own it on another format you may want to pass.

Loved it when I was a kid, but...
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. For a musical, this movie has garbage sound quality. As with so many things from the 80s, this was a lot cooler in the 80s.

Not a very good production
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Bought this to see David Bowie acting. Movie might be entertaining to children because of Muppets but boring plot and poor acting by girl and David.
