Good screen quality and touch function, good performance. Only item is the finger print sensor is sometimes not sensitive enough. Overall great buy at $600.

It is very fast able to handle multiple windows at a Time. Only thing I would consider is getting bigger hard drive. After all the programs and updates it does take alot out space from 256. Having a 500ssd instead or 1Tb would be great. But other than that still great Laptop to have. Also did found article if you would like to upgrade your laptop after a year or so. You can over clock the laptop to 3.30 ghz and bigger hard drive. Which is something great. Would recommend to do to that after a year or so. With regard to issues with operating software, this system has Lenovo utilities installed to help maintain the health of the device and keep the operating system software up to date. Type "Lenovo Vantage" in the Cortana Search window (if Lenovo Vantage is not installed on your device, you can download the APP and install it now). Select Lenovo Vantage from the list. In the window that opens, click on "Health and Support". In the expanded menu, select "Hardware Scan" In the window that opens, select "Run Quick Tests". This will scan your entire system for errors. Follow any directions that may pop up. If the problem continues after this scan, now click on "System Update". First select Windows update from the menu. Scan your system to be sure you have the latest version of Windows 10. Once that scan is complete, select "Additional Updates". This will scan your device to be sure there are no new BIOS/Driver updates needed. Follow any instructions that may pop up.

Lenovo is a strong name. I used to be in IT support another lifetime ago and the Thinkpads we supported were work horses. When I saw the sale on the Yoga 730 15.6, I jumped on it. But not after some serious research. You see, I come from old-school, and I was struggling with the technology change between a hdd and a ssd. After learning the mindset that ya just don't keep everything on the main drive anymore, it clicked! I like the build of this laptop - an aluminum case! That's impressive. It boots up FAST! Faster than my desktop running on the older style ssd. These m.2's are something else. Upgrading the memory is easy, as is the ssd should you choose to do so. I doubt I will ever use the tablet mode, but who knows.

I spent about $200 more than what I wanted to spend but he was spot on with his recommendations. I wish all purchases could be like that. This laptop is a lb lighter than what i have been working with and the speed of SS is amazing how fast programs and just start up is!! Now i just need to get almost a decade out of this like I did my Samsung and I'll be good.

I've owned this for close to 2 years now and it's still functioning well. I notice a shift in batter life over the past few months - it used to be 8 hr life and now it's closer to 5 hr, which is still better than other laptops longevity. I like the keyboard which has nice clicks and not too loud. For someone like me who uses this laptop for personal life mostly with some streaming, it has held up very well and I am happy with this purchase.

It's been a while since we owned a laptop and was surprised at the features it provided. We love the versatility with this machine as you can use it like a giant tablet if you want with the touchscreen and the SSD is good to have especially when on the go...we used to be paranoid when transporting machines with spinning HDD. Out of the box I found it lagged. I jumped online and made some simple tweaks and unleashed it's TRUE power. Only knock on this laptop is the keyboard and mouse are not as easy to use as we had remembered with older laptops. Other than that this is a great product for the price.

Posted .Thank you for choosing the Lenovo Yoga 730-15 for your wife. This model ships with a standard 15.6" (screen size measured diagonally) QWERTY keyboard without 10-key numeric pad. With regard to the touchpad, you can make adjustments to the touchpad in your system settings. You can get there by clicking on the magnifying glass at the bottom left of your Windows 10 screen. Type "touchpad" in the search window. Select "Mouse & touchpad settings" from the list of choices. You can make general adjustments to the touchpad there. You can also select "Additional mouse options" for more detailed adjustments to the touchpad sensitivity by increasing the delay of the touchpad. Additionally, this system has Lenovo utilities installed to help maintain the health of the device and keep the operating system software up to date. Type "Lenovo Vantage" in the Cortana Search window (if Lenovo Vantage is not installed on your device, you can download the APP and install it now). Select Lenovo Vantage from the list. Works really well - but slight battery issues

I am able to run a lot of programs on it without lag and issues. The only thing is the battery - I'm not sure if I have to change settings (which I already tried), but it's been a bit frustrating that it doesn't last more than a few hours. The built-in camera is also not so great, which could be an issue for someone who does a lot of video calls. Otherwise, overall, it's a great product and I would recommend.

Posted .The Yoga 730-15 ships with a 3CELL 51.5WH, Lithium Polymer battery, with a battery life of up to 9 hours of battery life, depending on the workload the device is processing. If you are using demanding programs, this will drain the battery faster. Also, be sure there are no unwanted programs running in the background, draining the battery. You can do this in the control panel, in the power management category on your system. Select a more conservative power management setting to extend battery life. My parents are very elderly and this laptop allowed me to work from various locations, be it the hospital or while caring for them at their home. My desktop is also an older Lenovo and even though it could be considered outdated, it gets the job done. The Microsoft platform has always been the proven winner for this lady. I was also advised on a recent visit by a tech from the Geek Squad that I had made an excellent choice in purchasing the Lenovo laptop.

Fast, Attractive Laptop

The SSD makes a ton of difference, as you would expect. I can turn the unit on from being totally shut down, and be totally up and running within 10-15 seconds, especially when I use the fingerprint reader. The laptop is very good looking. I usually prefer the simple, clean lines, metal body, which this executes very well. The background lighting on the keys is adjustable and more than bright enough. It also doesn't spill out from under the keys, like some cheaper computers. The flip capability is very nice, and using it in tent mode is great for watching movies in bed. Using it as a tablet is sometimes a bit cumbersome, but I did buy the larger screen knowing this would probably be the case, so I can't knock points there. If you did frequently want to use this as a tablet, you may want to look at the lighter, smaller version. The only trait that isn't excellent on this unit are the speakers. This isn't to say that they aren't loud enough, or that they are bad quality, just that the location is suboptimal. They're located under the main body of the computer, and face down into your lap if you're in laptop mode. This sort of comes with the territory with the 2 in 1's though, so it's another thing that I can't really complain about. Overall, great computer, would recommend!

With regard to the placement of the stereo JBL speakers on the front edges of this device, they are placed there to make the sound optimum no matter what mode you are using the Yoga 730-15 in - Laptop tablet or any position in between. This system has Dolby Atmos sound enhancement software. This works best with headphones, so when you are using the system speakers, make sure Dolby Atmos is turned off.
