Really good looking - great LED lighting but it's a little shallow and the storage spaces are a little awkward.

Not enough freezer room -- not a fan of the bottom drawer freezer. Overall very satisfied with all.

This is a great refrigerator. We are so happy with this.

For the money, I'm a bit disappointed in the quality. Don't think it will last as long as my GE (13 years).

Pros: Counter Depth - make a big difference in our kitchen - more room to move. Very open and easy to view everything, the drawers are clear and easy to see the items. The LED lighting inside really illuminates the entire fridge - very nice. Cons: Well the Price of course - hard to justify this price even with all the nice features. The freezer section drawer seems a bit flimsy, but does the job. Stainless steel is tough to keep clean with younger kids. I would recommend the fridge if the price doesn't scare you.

Did a ton of research on counter depth fridges and this one won out easily. Biggest counter depth fridge out there. Looked at KitchenAid, Viking, DCS, Dacor. Plenty of room in both the fridge and freezer. Can fit a ton of stuff in both. The ice-maker in the door is a must for these types of refrigerators. Can still fit plenty of condiments, beers, sodas, etc., in the ice maker side door. 3 cons: The water dispenser is a little funky. Can't fill any sort of large bowl or it spills. Condensation forms on the doors when Energy Saver mode is on so have to turn it off. Pretty irritating that happens for whatever reason. The veggie/fruit drawers are too small. Not deep enough and can't hold that much. Should be only 2 instead of 3 and could've made them wider. The profile is really sharp and the lighting inside looks very cool if you are in to the aesthetics. All in all, have had it for a month and really like it. A few design details could be improved, but for this size (24.7 cu ft) and at counter depth, can definitely live with them. WIll report back soon with more details.

I needed to buy a counter-depth fridge due to my kitchen layout. I was extremely worried about usable space due to the lack of depth. After extensive research, I found that this would be the best option. Companies advertise the total space of the fridge, which is not necessarily the same as usable space. Now that I have the unit, I don't regret a bit about my decision. The fact that the ice-maker is inside the left door leaves a ton of space in the fridge area (compared to others that has it inside the fridge). LG has managed the ice maker that well, that they even have 3 small depth bins in the left door where the ice maker is. I use these bins for small items, like mustard, ketchup, etc. The right door has full depth and you can actually put 2 maybe 3 whole gallons in there. Space is huge. The fridge space is unbelievable, and very user friendly. You can move the trays up/down/off very easily based on your needs. In regards to the condensation build-up when energy efficiency is used, the manual tells you to turn it off if that happens. I just did that and no condensation in the door anymore. Temperature is great too, my beer is always really cold waiting for me when I get back from work. Only negative I see for this fridge, is that the bottom drawer used for meat/pultry/deli does not fully open unless the 2 doors are open since it is very wide (the whole width of the fridge). Sometimes it can be annoying that you need to open the 2 doors just to put something in that drawer. Ideal design would be to have this drawer split in 2.

This is a well thought out counter depth fridge. I was concerned I wouldn't have enough room inside, but it is so much more functional than our older side by side. The lighting is excellent and the ice maker is the best we have had in our last three fridges. This was an excellent value and we love it. I did put cell phone screen protectors over the ice and water flaps after someone's suggestion. People say the black writing tends to rub off if you don't. Two of the salesman we talked to own an LG, both delivery people own LG's and our son owns an LG. They all rave about them and now so do we!

This unit is quite pricey, but then again, so are all counter depth refrigerators. Twice as much for half as much. Overall it's a great unit. Very quiet. Looks great. I researched and saw a bunch of the C. Depth fridges on the market and this one had the best features. What I loved about this unit is that it had the largest and easiest access freezer among the rest of the C.D. Love the lighting, not necessary, but a great cool factor. The water dispenser is great for filling pitchers and the like. No aftertaste in the ice or water from water line. Largest volume C.D. I saw. Still not a whole lot of space. Wish I could have used a standard size, but I had no option for my location so this was perfect. Highly recommend. Worth the money.

I love my refrigerator. Originally we had bought another LG, the 31cubic feet one during the Black Friday sale and asked for the delivery to be weeks later as we were moving. However on the day of the delivery things didn't go as planned. The fridge was damaged so I had to send it back.( Just imagine: Holidays and I have guests at home with no fridge. :(... ). Then I ended up ordering another one as that one was not going to be delivered for weeks. And I am glad I did. I love my refrigerator. It is so spacious and quiet except a little bit of noise coming from the ice maker every now and then. No issues so far. Keeping it streak free was not easy first (especially if you have small children, reconsider stainless steel appliances as they show every finger print) but then I bought one of those spray cleaners sold at the department stores as recommended by LG and made sure I followed the directions and used a microfiber lint free cloth which gave a wonderful streak free look. I think it is pricey so wait for a sale. I gave 4 stars to quality because this one also came with a few damaged spots on the sides which I didn't care about much, but there is one "ding" in the front which is the real reason of the loss of that star. I wish they would replace the freezer door where the infamous "ding" is or at least give me a discount to make it fair. But overall I am happy with my purchase. And I can't end without mentioning the sales person at Best Buy, who helped me with this purchase. He was very helpful not only during the original purchase but also with the return, new order, and the fast delivery of this new order. Thanks.

First of all, it's beautiful, inside and out. And it's so quiet you can barely hear the thing running. Open the doors and it lights up like an airport runway. The interior is well designed and I absolutely love having the ice maker in the door as it frees up more shelf space. Unless you have a large family, the ice maker is more than adequate and it automatically lights up whenever you get ice or water, love that too! What else can I say, except that after looking at many other refrigerators, I know I made the right decision.

I bought this to replace a mediocre frigidaire I bought when I moved into my new apartment. Being NYC, space is limited but I wanted something that would last and that had a lot of space. I did a lot of research before splurging on this fridge and it was definitely worth it. So far so good. It has a lot of space, its quiet, it fit in my kitchen, and it looks good. I'm very happy with my purchase. On a side note I wanted to say what a great experience it was with the delivery people. They came in, took the old fridge, hooked this one up to my water line and were done in 20 minutes.

One of the best unit we have owned. Ice maker is very compact. Water dispenser is situated so as to fill up a full size pitcher. Very impressive looking when open with LED lights. Freezer section very spacious and convenient to use with three different storage levels.

I needed a counter depth refrigerator for our new house so I shopped around, read the reviews and decided on this LG refrigerator. Best Buy delivered the unit, hooked it up and it has run without any issues for several weeks now. My only complaint is I wish I had more room for a larger refrigerator, storage in this appears limited compared to my old refrigerator.

I've seen refrigerators claim to keep food fresh longer, but never believed it. After owning this fridge for two months, I'm a believer! Milk lasts over a week longer, deli meats and cheese last a week longer, vegetables last two weeks longer than they did in our former fridge, and it was new in 2004. The ice maker and water dispenser work great. The water filter couldn't be easier to access and change. The LED lighting works and looks great. The stainless is hard to keep clean, but so are a lot of stainless refrigerators. The produce drawers might be a little shallow for some people, but they're plenty big for our needs. The price is a little hard to swallow, but the money we're saving on food is making up for it. I would recommend this fridge to anyone.

Compared to our old side-by-side, which had essentially the same square footage, this refrigerator and freezer is heads and shoulders above it with respect to usability. There are a couple of negatives about this model that have me drop it from 5 stars to 4 stars, but despite these negatives I would still highly recommend this refrigerator. I'll start with the two negatives, and then go onto the positives. NEGATIVE 1: The ice maker has 3 negatives a) the ice maker frequently fails to make ice even though it has run empty. The cause of this is the following: if it worked properly, whenever one used the ice dispenser, the remaining ice in the hopper (storage bin) would have the level of the ice lower uniformly. Unfortunately, what often happens in reality is that the ice on the top sides sticks to the edges of the bin while the ice in the center drops down. This occurs glass after glass, and although the bin essentially empties of ice, it thinks it is full because the sensor is on the top edge of the bin (which is blocked by the ice sticking to it). If I want to be assured of always having ice, I find I need to open the door to the ice maker once a week, and on the weeks where it is jammed I have to manually dislodge the ice stuck at the top. b) when requesting ice cubes from the dispenser, it often sprays out shards of crushed ice (despite not having used the crushed ice mode for 2 months). I think this might be related to problem a), wherein maybe some ice is adhering between the dispenser and the crushing mechanism.... one day I'll need to thoroughly clean this out; though it is ridiculous that I would have such a problem within the first few months of ownership. c) ice capacity; it is fine for us DINKs, but if we had a family of 5 I could see where it might not be enough ice during summer months. NEGATIVE 2: energy efficiency I have no idea how much energy this refrigerator is actually using, but we are not able to keep the refrigerator running in Energy Efficent Mode....every time we do, moisture starts to form on the mullion after a while. This didn't happen the first couple of weeks we had it, but after that we had to switch it out of energy efficient mode due to the moisture on the mullion. We don't live in a very hot area, with temps only in the mid to high 70s most days, but maybe once we hit fall temps we'll be able to go back to energy efficient mode. Also, to get to the middle fruit bin as well as the large flat vegetable bin we have to open up both doors at the same time, which probably causes quite a bit of the cool air to escape. I love the ergonomics of the drawers though, and prefer those ergonomics over the energy efficiency lost by having to open both doors to get to them. THE POSITIVES: Refrigerator: We love that we can see and easily reach pretty much every item in the refrigerator (compare this to our old side-by-side where we often had trouble finding things, and had to move a lot of things to get out one item). The huge side cubbys with adjustable height are fantastic; easy to stack all of our large juice bottles, soda, etc., and yet still mix in small hot sauce bottles. There is also a hidden tiny cubby at the very bottom of the refrigerator which we didn't even see until after having the thing for a month.... glad we found it; this is great place to put all of our rarely used jam jars. water dispenser: I can fit my extra tall sports bottles under the dispenser without a problem. Freezer: The layout of this over our side by side is 10x better. My wife has always had our freezer loaded with frozen fruit bags, but we could never find what we wanted in the old freezer. The layout of this freezer is incredibly good, making it 10x easier to spot and get to what we need.
