    The water dispenser does not work on delivery; unfortunately, we tried two (2) separate deliveries. The 2nd delivery/exchange driver even told us he had just picked up the same fridge for return. Do not pay extra for repair technician. If it doesn't work on delivery, then just exchange it with BestBuy (no worries). The November 2024 Vietnam version (we had two samples) water dispenser will not work (even after 3 days). It's not your plumbing. We have awesome water pressure. As a life long LG customer (former fridge, TV, washer, stove, and microwave, we were super disappointed. Love our new Bespoke Samsung replacement delivered today ;-)

    Writing this review within two days of the refrigerator delivery. Pros: 1. More spacious compared to any other refrigerator 2. We replaced two door GE refrigerator with LG. We liked the refrigerator space but the freezer space is less compared to GE Cons: 1. Product delivered with improper door alignment 2. Smart Wi-fi connection is not easy to setup These are my initial comments. I plan to call LG support for the door alignment issues. I will write a detail review after using the product few more weeks.

    This fridge isn’t as spacey as I thought it would be. I should have tested it out at the store first. other than that is very nice and functional. Looks gorgeous.

    For the most part, this fridge is decent. It cools and is roomy. The couple of drawbacks are the doors are kind of clunky; like they don't really shut all that smooth. The other is when getting ice or water, you have to press the button twice it seems. For example, i want ice and the selector is on water, I have to press ice button to activate the control button and then ice again in order for it to switch. Same vice versa with water, have to press it once to activate the panel and then again to switch it. Not a big deal breaker, but a little inconvenient. This is my first side by side with the freezer drawers, so maybe the door closing is normal on this type. All in all, I do like the fridge, I don't LOVE the fridge. Looks nice, dings real easy. Love the space it has compared to a side by side. Ice bin is small, but I think that was expected with the type of ice bin it has.

    Pretty, but that's about it. Usable space inside is lacking. I though I would like the French door style, but the depth of the refrigerator makes reaching items nearly impossible letting the back items to rot. The dual freezers are also just okay. Better than one huge trough freezer but still have to dig around to find things. Honestly I feel like Goldilocks looking for the "just right" refrigerator. Still searching

    The right hand side of the door does not have much suction. The depth is too long, and sticks out further than the kitchen cabinet and the previous refrigerator. I can’t really say the finger print is smudge proof or cleans as well as my old one did. My sister has a LG and hers broke after 4 years and she has been waiting for repair & without hers for over 18 days now. The only thing I like about this fridge is the double freezers and the little sound it makes when the door is open for too long.I would rather have my old one fridge again, but they no longer make it! Also they want you to think the purchase date is 7/9 but the item was back ordered and took possession on August 13, 2022.

    I owned a LG refrigerator that looks just like this one. I had it for seven years when the compressor went out it was still under warranty but I have to pay for the service which is $800 so I decide to buy a new refrigerator. I kind of regret it. I wish I would’ve spent $800 to repair my old one. This new one doesn’t seem as good as my last one. I lost a lot of good features. This icemaker is a lot smaller than my last one. The water filter is a LG 1000 and the water doesn’t taste as good as my last one which used LG 800. hopefully it will last a lifetime.

    Our ice maker was defective from day one and had to be immediately replaced (free under warranty), I don't particularly care for the fact that there is no light for the very bottom freezer drawer and the right side deli drawer cannot be accessed without both fridge doors being open (the flap for the left door seal obstructs the drawer from being fully opened unless both doors are open). The water filter is easier to change than our Samsung was. Overall we still like this fridge so far, we've owned it for about a month so far.

    I paid for an excellent condition and received a good condition one. Was told I had to take it back in order to get the right one but how should I be inconvenienced for their mistake. My husband picked up the fridge and they brought it to the car. When I checked it at home is when we realized it was the wrong one. Water dispenser did not dispense water and had to have LG come out to fix. Altogether an inconvenient experience!

      Since the water dispenser required an in-home service, one basic check that is always helpful is to ensure the Control Lock feature on the dispenser panel is not engaged, as this will prevent the dispenser from working. If there is a padlock symbol on your display, press and hold the Lock button for 3–5 seconds to unlock the dispenser and restore function. Since a technician has already visited, the primary issue should be resolved.

    The door slams shut because the ice maker is in the door. Ice maker doesn't make much ice at once, also because it's in the door. When it was first turned on, it took several hours to cool down. We connected it to WiFi thinking there would be a way in the app to turn on a quick cool mode or something but there wasn't and, at least for this model, the app doesn't do much at all. Overall, it's ok.

    Overall nice use of size, durable, solid and looks good. I do wish we had bought one with a second ice maker. It doesn't make enough to keep up with our family of 5 and all the activities during the week.

    I’m not happy about it…two handles already fell off.i tried to contact LG for replacements which should be free. I called and got nowhere. I need the correct number for LG. Whoever answered the phone was very rude and hung up on me. I feel very frustrated. I’ve always likes LG products but now I would hesitate to buy another LG product.

    Our previous LG model which was one superceeded died after it being purchased in 2011. This is the "updated version". Plus side is plenty of freezer space (just lose the stupid plastic thingy that takes up more room than it's worth. There is a lack of adjustment in the door shelving so previously you could put bottle of wine there....(can't with this one). The control panel is better...it has a wifi thingy ( no idea why but it does) and you can adjust the temperatures from the preset ones. Anyway if you are looking for a French door fridgerator with decent frezzer space and don't want to pay the price of a new car...buy this one...if you want a lot of stupid, pointless features (computer access, a drawing board, toilet paper dispenser....and want to part with your first born) then don't buy this one.

    LG 4 Door Fridge - Reconsider at another retailer

    Long story short - if you are looking for a new fridge reconsider LG for Samsung. If you are looking at Best Buy for a fridge (or any appliance), reconsider any other appliance retailer. If you want more details, read on. LG has long been synonymous with great products. Our home is filled with all LG appliances. We replaced our LG fridge with this new LG refrigerator. Although we got a great deal- partially from Best Buy because of delivery and availability issues - the fridge is nice but seriously underwhelming for the price. The ice maker is small and takes forever to fill up. Freezer drawers close on you when you are trying to get something else. Water leaks from the back - 1 week in we had to file a warranty claim (this is the second new fridge that did this - this fridge was the replacement from Best Buy because the first one was doing the same thing). LGs customer service was rude and wanted to argue about the water leak. Best Buy’s stand: not our problem anymore.

    The water filter and ice maker have not been working g since time of purchase. We have had to call Best Buy team to help assist. It has been 2 weeks now, no resolution. Will update review based on results later.

    Horrible customer service, no real warranty

    I am so disappointed, not completely in the actual Refrigerator, although it was delivered with a deficient right side door. But more so in the complete lack of customer service in responding to the repair. I spent good money on this Refrigerator and it came with a deficient right side door, once you open it, the door flies open until it hits whatever can stop it. In my case, it is a wall next to the Refrigerator. I filed a warranty request and they have NEVER contacted me to actually fix it. What they have done is sent a text through AI with a Youtube on how to fix a Refrigerator door that will not seal, and then on how to fix a door that will not close, Neither of which is my problem. After sending each of those texts, they tell you to file another claim (which I have done multiple times now) and the loop seems to be never-ending. I bought 4 very high dollar appliances from them, which is really not the point, but based on the fact that they do not stand behind their products and offer ZERO help, I will never buy an LG appliance again. For reference, I bought this at the end of November and still zero resolution or actual contact from anyone who might be able to fix the problem. I am pretty sure no one wants a French-door Refrigerator where you have to hold the door open while using the Refrigerator. Which really defeats the purpose. The left side works as intended but the space in the actual Refrigerator is also very small which further complicates the problem, If you want a company that stands by its product, buy anything else. If not, this might be acceptable. i am very disappointed in the LG company.

    The ice maker doesn’t work very well. The ice will melt slightly and then refreeze into a giant chunk. And the bottom freezer drawer doesn’t have a light. It does look nice though and has a lot of space in the fridge.

    This refrigerator is a great deal for the price. However, the one major drawback is the interior lighting. With only a single thin strip of lighting to illuminate the entire upper section, the bottom shelves are often dark once items are placed on the top shelf. If I could separate delivery and Best Buy customer service out from the product, I would. Best Buy customer service is atrocious. It took four delivery attempts to finally get this product delivered, and countless phone calls to process a gift card that Best Buy promised me for my “inconveniences.” To this day I’ve received neither. I’m returning the refrigerator and buying from a different retailer. I’d rather pay for an extended warranty than take advantage of the 2 year warrant that comes with my Best Buy membership.
