Looks beautiful, plenty of space, very quiet. The only thing I am still getting used to is the left door, since the ice maker is inside this door, the door is heavy and it slams quite easy, door needs to be hold until you close it The power cord is short. I noticed a gap on the back, looks like it was bumped. The delivery guy said "it is nothing, but you can call to exchange" look at the picture. I know is not easy to maneuver a heavy fridge but we paid a lot of money and expected for our fridge to have no damage at all.

This was just installed a few days ago, so here are my initial impressions. I like the look of the fridge. I like that the ice maker has been moved to the door, it leaves more shelf room in the fridge. However, I’m not sure if it’s the weight of the ice maker in the door or what, but that left door slams shut. And I mean SLAMS shut. Which is shocking every time it happens. Makes me jump every time. You have to remember to hold on to the door as it closes in order to guide it to close slowly and without a sudden bang. I have 3 small children, I will have no luck getting them to remember this. Thus, I know I cannot keep anything glass in the small shelves in the door. Additionally, the slide out gliding drawer inside the refrigerator needs a redesign. If you can’t open both the fridge doors fully backwards, it hits the door and you’re only able to access the front half of that glide out drawer. This is my problem bc the left side of my refrigerator has a wall next to it. I cannot fully open the left door backwards therefore I cannot open that gliding drawer fully. If they would simply redesign the top of that drawer to be a dome shape that you can open up (pull the top upwards) I could still access the back of the drawer even if I can’t fully pull the drawer out. But, it is a fixed flat top. My last refrigerator was designed with the dome top you could open up and boy I sure miss it. Also, I do not like that the bottom freezer drawer does not have a light. Why not? The top freezer drawer does. And lastly, when I saw the floor model in the store it had an on/off button for the ice bin in the top drawer of freezer. My understanding from the sales associate was that controlled whether or not I wanted the fridge to make the ice for that freezer tray. However when I received the fridge, there is no on/off button and I read instructions that say you have to manually dump ice into the freezer bin. So I don’t understand how LG can make an update to the fridge but keep the same model #? Now I’m wondering what other changes have been made (any corrections?) that I didn’t get as it seems I have a down level/older version of this fridge?

The refrigerator itself is good, however the ice maker jams periodically and I have to dump all the ice. Seems the bin that holds the ice doesn't stay cold enough and some of the ice melts that makes it stick together. The fridge was damaged upon delivery because no padding was on it and the dolly made dents in the bottom drawer. Best Buy did give me a gift card to make up for the dents.

This was a good buy. My wife is satisfied. It has a lot of space. No more problems with room. I had the tech look at the door as the right side slightly open when you close the left. The seal is good but I was told it was normal. He said that I could replace with another new one but we declined as we had several problems at delivery and we don’t want to go through the hassle again.

Great fridge! Very easy to set temperature through the app. It’s super spacious which is why we primarily wanted this fridge. I really like how there are 2 freezers. It helps keep things more organized rather than everything pilling on top of each other. I also like the settings of the drawers which keep my vegetables and fruits stay fresh for a long time and keep my delis and meats fresh

We purchased the LG French Door Refrigerator as a part of a 4 appliance upgrade for our lakehouse. We went from all white appliances to stainless steel and our kitchen looks brand new! The new refrigerator has 27.8 cu. ft. and is large enough to handle guests and family members that come to visit. Our only concern is the compressor on the refrigerator makes more noise then we are used to.

Just installed it so not a lot of wear on it yet. I love the look of it and it has tons of room. Still working on organizing the shelves for our family. I love the two drawer freezer. And the ice cubes are smaller!!!! Love that. So far the only thing I don't care for is that both doors aren't self closing. The left closes without having to manually push it closed while the right bounces back. But at least it has an alarm to tell you that the door is ajar.

I love everything about this refrigerator. Except one thing. There is no dust plate at the bottom. I called best buy they cant help. Called LG cant even order one. I am supposed to jack up the front of the fridge to loosen up the levelers so I can roll it out to clean the dog hair that collects behind it. That's stupid and not something I can do alone every month. Besides that the levelers and rollers show at the bottom. Makes the beautiful fridge ugly

Our last refrigerator was a Sears Kenmore elite. It lasted 10 years with no trouble, then it died. When the service tech came out he told us it was an LG refrigerator ( who knew) Hoping this one is half as good as the last one I wanted to try the flex drawer, but would have had to wait a month for delivery - the freezer only was in stock, so that's what we went with

Overall a good fridge. I prefer the fridge w a middle drawer. This one you have to open the whole top (both French doors) to open the inner large drawer where we stored most used foods kids grab. The shelves are glass do you can see items. The side baskets on the doors are reasonably sized. Its been about 2 years and the Ice maker might be going out. It’s also very small ice maker cubicle. Never made it through a dinner with everyone home without running out. The freezer space is pretty on point. I do like that!

Great space. The double freezer doors take a little getting used to, but holds sufficient amount. Had a few concerns from other reviews about noise, but not an issue at all. Only reasons for 4 (and not 5 stars): -The left refrigerator door is a little heavy due to the ice maker being attached. -Have to click a bottom to change from water to ice dispensing Other than that, I've had the unit for a few months and all is great so far.

*STORY ON THE DUD REFRIGERATOR>>I'll start of by saying, I really do like this refrigerator even after the experience we had getting one that works right. We had this model of refrigerator delivered and installed on a Thursday. It showed up with the icemaker tray installed backwards and the crisper selection tray not working. I talked with the geek squad guys and told them I just wanted it fixed and we can work out a credit. By Friday I noticed that the temperature was much lower than the setting set by Geek Squad so I raised it up to 37deg which is the highest temp available. By Saturday evening all my food was frozen. As you know, some food cannot be frozen and rethawed for use. We had quite a bit of food that was ruined. I had just bought a giant package of ground beef from costco which i was planning to divide up into smaller portions for freezing, that froze inside the refrigerator. I still don't know how I'll be able to thaw and cook over 5lbs of ground beef. I contacted geek squad Saturday to schedule an appointment for them to come look at the refrigerator but by Sunday I called them back and told them I wanted a new refrigerator. Geek squad was less than helpful with getting this done. I called my local Best Buy where I had just purchased all new appliances and was helped right away. They were able to get a new refrigerator over to me the next Thursday. I had to ride to Best Buy and purchase 2 mini fridges to store all my refrigerated items in until then, and then I sent the mini fridges off with the refrigerator that freezes everything. The new replacement is working well and best buy offered me a small amount of gift card for all the trouble and food wasted. I feel it should have been more but I'm just happy the refrigerator is working. While this all sounds like a happy ending, there's something about getting a brand new refrigerator and having it not work from the jump thats unsettling. My kids milk was frozen, veggies were frozen, water and condiments were frozen, etc. I'll also add that I called LG to ask if there was anything I could do on my end and they were completely clueless and not really helpful at all, which I think says alot about them and makes me question buying all my appliances from LG. On to the refrigerator. This is a really nice refrigerator. It looks great and the print proof exterior is great when you have toddlers running around. The only thing I don't like about it is its not magnetic. So no more hanging things on the fridge. Boo. I love the fact that the icemaker is built into the door so it doesn't take up a ton of space in the back corner. The double freezer is something I didn't think i'd care much about but boy does it make it easier to get to your frozen things. The icemaker has a setting that when turned on, makes a bunch of ice for 24 hours, so if you're having a get together turn it on a day before and continuously empty the maker into the tray in the freezer or a cooler. If you leave any door open longer than like 30 seconds, it'll give you a continuous chime notification to let you know to shut it. Would be cool to get notifications like that on the app. Water filtration is great. Our water tastes very bleachy at our house and we've been buying gallon bottles to drink for 2 years now. Finally since getting this fridge installed we drink water from the filtered water on the fridge. It tastes great. When we first got it we couldn't figure out why we couldn't get many gallon and half gallon containers to fit in it without flipping them, then I realized the trays are split in the middle and can be moved up and down. So we've configured it now so we can get so much more in there. Really sweet. The app is something I need to use more of. You can change temperature, turn on or off ice plus, turn on energy saver and add foods with their expiration dates. Pretty cool. I wish it sent push notifications for when the door is open. After all the trouble, I do really love this fridge. I do have to take off 1 star for all the troubles we had, because it was a huge pain for almost a week. I appreciate the guys at the Charlottesville Best Buy for helping me get everything squared away.

I prefer LG appliances. My fridge stopped working while I had covid so I ordered this one online. Fast delivery, 2 days. As I expected it works great. There are big differences from my other LG. I choose the two drawers because digging thru the large bottom drawer was always annoying. So I like that. The doors on this are very light so they don't close unless you make sure they do. There is an app for that, but it's useless. You have to open it up for it to tell you the door is open. It's more chintzy made than my other LG, but that was purchased in 2012. It does not have a butter cover shelf which drives me crazy. It also has only one glass shelf that slides. I can fill tall water bottles, which I could not with my older one. Since I was not able to go into the store to see it, I'm fairly happy with it. It was also a good price. Plus I'm sure it will last at least a few years as all my LG appliances do.

After shopping for a appliance bundle, we build our house 20 years ago , they needed updating. I went from GE to LG. I don't really have anything bad to say about GE, they all work fine still, except the fridge has some puddling due to a frozen water line. They were also white, general contractor series. First of all the delivery guys were very good. Both orders (the dishwasher came a few days later). they called 10-15 minutes before they arrived and were in and out in no time. We opted to install our self. It was an easy process. I already had the hanger for the microwave up, the hoses we replaced on the dishwasher, it was needed. The fridge waterline was new and that only took a few steps. SO, the fridge is the stainless steel four door ice maker/water thru door.I mainly wanted this model because it did not require us to stoop down into the fridge. I love the deli/meat tray door. I can see whats inside and not have to cram meats and cheeses and deli items in a small square area. I would like a light on the second drawer for the bottom freezer. The slid shelf is also very cool. I don't have many tall things, so this area is just right. The ice maker is in the door which was a must for me, my husband did not really care either way, but, I did not want the ice maker to take up a lot of room inside the fridge and the door area. It was easy to connect to the wireless, but you need and android. Thankfully I have both IPhone and Android. I wish they had it for IPhone . Believe me, we shopped for two months. Get connected with IPhone and this would be 5 stars.

Bought this to replace a previous LG model that was almost 10 yrs old. Very happy with the space and lighting inside. The only real complaint is that there is no lighting in the bottom drawer. The water and ice dispenser work well, but the ice storage is small due to the in-door space saver ice maker. Probably a good idea to have a second form of ice in the drawers for parties as this will not keep up with the ice demand.
