Seemless, easy install

I opened the box, plugged it into the wall outlet, connected it to my laptop via ethernet cable and it was up and running in less than three minutes time. It has increased the signal to the far end of the home so that movie streaming never enters buffering. I have a strong signal in all corners of my home, on the first and second story, and have no issues.

After about three weeks it quite working altogether and has become a waste of my money. It initially connected to wifi with ease but soon failed. I would not recommend it to anyone!

Not a good choice if you're not wery tech savy

When first setting it up the extender had the generic password and someone hacked into it and got the wifi password from it. I went in and changed it but somebody that didn't know what to look for could be left exposed. The configuration also takes a few times to get right but once it is up and good to go it is a great device. Extended my signal to parts of the house and outside of it that I was not able to reach before

If you aren't getting a good signal, because you're to far form your WIFI box, then this is the answer. We couldn't keep signal in our son's room. Ever since we installed this halfway between the box and his room, he hasn't lost signal once.

It showed a strong signal but would not allow any device to stay connected and then it would not allow any device to connect to the main wireless signal and stay connected. When connecting using cable, was unable to remotely connected to network.....could not even get it to reset back to factory (even after printing all instructions).

* Place it in an area where there is still good connection from the router.
* Use a handheld device (phone or tablet) to check for your router's signal strength. Once you can find a place where there is still 2-3 signal bars, then that's the perfect location for your extender.
* Set your router to use a permanent wireless channel such as 1, 6, or 11.
* Update or re-flash the firmware.
