This keyboard exceeded my expectations. The keys feel smooth and responsive, making typing comfortable even during long sessions. Setup was quick and easy, and it works perfectly with my device without any connection issues. The build quality feels solid and well-made, and the design looks clean on my desk. Overall, it’s a great value for the price and I would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a reliable keyboard.

Second G Pro TKL

My original G Pro TKL was purchased back in 2019 and I use it for my desktop. It's the one that has the Romer G switches and this newer one has the Blue switches (Blue = clicky Vs Romer G = quite). I purhcased a new gaming laptop and wanted to get another G Pro, so I got this one w/the Blue switches. The one thing I noticed playing at night is the volume symbols don't light up on this one like they do my original G Pro TKL. I wish they still lite up! So, now while playing in the dark, if I want to mute or change the volume, I need to go off of memory on which key to press. Logitech seems to also have changed the key labeling. Example, the return key on the original has the word "return" and the return symbol on it.
The build quality of my original has been flawless. It still looks as good as the day I took it out of the box. I game on it for around 4+ hours a day and NONE of the keys have worn away at all!! I hope this new one has the same build quality as my original, only time will tell.
Thank you for being a repeat G PRO TKL customer! We appreciate you sharing your experience with both the Romer-G and Blue switch versions and your detailed observations on the key labeling and volume indicator difference. It's great to hear about the lasting build quality of your original!

Better than Razer Huntsman, really high quality with awesome custom community RGB settings (I like the confetti one, see pic). Slightly on the expensive side considering it’s not even wireless but still well worth it. Great design on the connection from the cable to keyboard (see pictures)

Came a day early and packaged well, even the box for the keyboard was in perfect condition. It was wrapped in plastic as well.
Have had the keyboard for about a month now and for anyone who likes clicky switches, these are perfect for you. They’re quite loud though, it can be heard when gaming/work/school if there isn’t proper noise suppression. Any grease is easy to clean off of the key caps/frame. The response time is good and it’s comfortable even for small hands like mine (16x7cm). It has a pretty good build quality which makes it somewhat heavy. The software for Logitech has never been hard to use, and is nitpicky in a good way like programming keybinds for specific games.

The keyboard feels good, has nice response times, and works just as well as when I first got it a year ago.
My biggest gripe is the Keycap Lifespan. Within 7 months My most used keys WASDQE and Space had noticeable wear and scratches. I could buy replacement keycaps for $60 (no thanks). I opted for white HyperX keycaps($20). Sadly, the left capslocks and the spacebar are different widths and had to stick to the original.
The RGB colors are nice but don't be deceived into thinking you can program them to tell the difference between two similar colors. Realistically I'd say there are about 7 colors, and you can control the hue.

This is my first gaming keyboard, and I absolutely love it. The clicky switches are super satisfying, and the keyboard itself feels high quality something you’d expect from Logitech. The only downside is that I wish it used a USB-C cable instead of micro USB, but overall it’s still a great keyboard.
Thank you for sharing your experience! We’re thrilled you love the feel and quality of the Logitech G PRO TKL, and we truly value your input on the cable design—it helps us improve.

My favorite keyboard ive ever had! Ive had cheap razer keyboards as well as the brown switch Logitech G512 Carbon. TKL is the perfect size for gaming and the super satisfying clicky switches and beautiful addressable RGB. Only complaint is that its loud and the paint has rubbed off after only a month. 9/10.
Thanks for the review! It sounds like the G PRO TKL is a near-perfect fit for you, especially with the TKL size, clicky switches, and RGB lighting for gaming. We appreciate you letting us know about the paint rubbing off - that's not ideal. We'll definitely pass this feedback along to our product development team. A Year Of Daily Use - Still Loving It

I've had this keyboard a bit over a year now and use it daily for both PC gaming and WFH. (disclaimer: child/pet-free household so can't speak to its durability in more risk-prone conditions)
Functionally, it's still as responsive and clicky-claky as the day I got it. The paint on the WASD keys have a bit of visible wear on the edges from overuse (see picture) but have otherwise held up far better than past keyboards I've owned. The Q/W/E/R/F/, 1-9/0 and F1-F12 keys are still near-perfect condition despite the force at which I panic-spam them on some unfortunate occasions. All the keycaps are easily replacable though so ultimately not an issue!
The only real dysfunction of this keyboard is that it sometimes takes a second or so for the backlights to turn on when you first power on your PC.
So if you spent entirely too much on your fast-booting PC build (like I did) this might result in missing the boot function prompts (BIOS, Boot Menu, etc) on startup if you're sitting in a pitch-black room.
Overall, I'd absolutely recommend it to anyone who does a hefty amount of typing whether for play or work (sans accounting/payroll because no number pad). I'll be buying a 2nd one soon when/if I'm forced into a hybrid in-office schedule.

The Logitech G PRO TKL is a compact, tenkeyless mechanical gaming keyboard that delivers excellent performance with its GX Blue Clicky switches, providing satisfying tactile feedback and audible clicks for precision typing. Its RGB backlighting is customizable, adding a personal touch to your setup. Built for esports, the keyboard is lightweight and durable, making it easy to carry and set up for tournaments or home use. The lack of a numpad allows for a more compact design, perfect for gamers who need more mouse space. Overall, the G PRO TKL offers pro-level performance in a sleek, space-saving package.
We appreciate your detailed review of the G PRO TKL Wired Mechanical Gaming Keyboard. We're glad to hear that you're impressed with its performance, compact design, and clicky switches. Thank you for choosing Logitech G!

Was debating between this one and the G915 Lightspeed. Very glad I went with this one rather than paying so much more just for wireless capabilities. Unless you absolutely need wireless and if you prefer TKL, this is the best option from Logitech. I was using an Apple keyboard and adjusted to this instantly despite the huge difference in design. I recommend a wrist rest if you get this for comfort.

Overall good keyboard. Little price for what it is but within norms. I like the tactile feel of the keys but i find myself hitting the key next to it and is a bit annoying. Could be me just getting used to it. Wish the backlighting was a bit brighter. Feels like a quality built keyboard.

World Class Typing/Terrible RGB

The Good:
The switches on this keyboard are absolutely amazing and the typing experience is second to none. What really drew me to this keyboard was the reduced height in they keys to another mechanical keyboard that I was using. It's a total dream to type on and has a real premium feel to it. The volume knob is extremely useful and smooth to operate as well.
When the RGB is functional there are some really cool things that you can do with them in the G Hub.
The USB passthrough is also nice, having the ability to plug a USB enabled device into your keyboard is a bonus, note it does split out as two USB cables in the back, one for the keyboard and one for the device, so you're not really adding another port, just moving it closer to you.
Lots of customization options with hot keys and different profiles you can set up and switch to.
The Bad:
My big pet peeve with this keyboard is the RGB lights, which should matter when you're paying $200 for a keyboard, and it's an RGB keyboard, will shut off after the computer goes to sleep and will not turn back on. At the time of writing this review currently none of my lights are working on the keyboard. You can uninstall the drivers/reinstall to get them back on, or try to restart your computer but that won't always do it either. With an issue like that, I don't feel this justifies a $200 price point. Tried contacting logitech through their G Hub to see if there was some firmware but never heard back from them.
Something else to note that's annoying with regards to the RGB is that the secondary functions of keys aren't highlighted by the lights when/if they do work. For instance the 1 key will be lit up but the ! will not be, that's in the design, nothing to do with failing RGBs.
Ultimately :
If you're looking for an incredible typing experience but don't really care about lighting for your keyboard then go for it, otherwise you can save money and get something with back lighting that works.
Hi Kyle, Thank you for this honest and fair review of the G815 LIGHTSYNC Gaming Keyboard. So sorry to hear about the issue you're having with the RGB lighting. In regards to firmware updates, you'd see a red dot on the settings for your G815 in G Hub. It sounds like there's a setting that is causing this problem that you may need to check with your computer. At this time, customer service is experiencing delays in service due to the current global situation, so response times may be delayed. You can always check the support page for the G815 which has some helpful FAQ's for most problems and also there's access to a live chat for any problems that aren't covered. Hope that this was helpful and that you'll be able to fully enjoy your G815. Thank you for being a Logitech customer. - Richard from Logitech
