I purchased this mouse based on reviews I read and because it was wired. I've used wireless mice before and they are nice when there isn't interference or until the batteries run out. I wasn't to sure about the adjustable weight system simply because of inexperience. Once I weighted the mouse to my liking and configured the profiles I have been extremely happy with the performance. Setup was easy, quick and seamless. The buttons are easily accessible but aren't accidentally hit. I love the adjustable dpi buttons so I can quickly go between different levels depending on what I am doing or even what OS I am using. I use this mouse in Windows 10 and Debian Linux and it's awesome for both.

I love this mouse! I tried Corsair, Razer, and Steel Series and took them all back for this mouse. For one the mouse is the most ergonomic mouse I've ever felt. It is only right-handed, though. The buttons are all configurable, and it is RGB. The software is super easy to work with and it goes great with my Logitech G910 Keyboard. It costs the same as a lower model Corsair, and is a much better mouse. It comes with weights if you need them and has a free scrolling wheel, which can also be programmed. Yeah - it's the perfect mouse for me for MMO's, Shooters, MOBA and RPG. Hand Grip, Claw Grip, and Finger Grips all work fine with this mouse. Buy it!

Reviews on this mouse are almost universally positive, the only thing that kept me from purchasing was the price. Once it went on sale I jumped on it and am glad I finally got to see what was so great about it. It's got a clean simple design, adjustable weights, RGB lighting, a great sensor, long braided cable, and very tactile and responsive buttons. As someone who suffers from arthritis I only wish there was a pinky rest option but my grip has adjusted well enough and I use the mouse for hours a day for school and play. If you've been considering this mouse you won't be disappointed, just do it.

I really like this mouse. There's plenty of functions and buttons to customize. At first I kept hitting the thumb button by accident, but eventually I got used to having my thumb a little lower. The glowing light is nice and the mouse itself feels nice in the hand. Being able to choose how much weight you want is also worth noting. The braided USB cable is high quality.

I really love this mouse and all of it's customizable features. I just came from using a simple 20 dollar optical sensor mouse with a it's highest dpi setting at 2400. I thought that was more than enough until I got this mouse and not I'm almost always at 2400 or 3000 bust sometimes use up to 4000 dpi while gaming. It's software is the best hands down and allows you to tune the mouse to any surface with a calibrating method that is simple and fast to use. I sound like an advertiser but I just really like this mouse. If you go in the store and hold it and like the feel then you'll like the mouse. My only complaint is that the led can't be changed from blue. Minor I know but it does bug me a bit.

Great Mouse for Gaming & General Use

I am the type of person that does a lot of research on products before I purchase them. This was no exception when purchasing this mouse, it finally came down to this mouse or a Razer mouse. In the end this mouse won out for the additional buttons and weight customization. I purchased this mouse to replace a wireless Logitech mouse that I really loved, but I wanted something that had some extra buttons, better DPI, and was corded for playing PC games. I was able to purchase this mouse for around $33 after using two Best Buy reward certificates so that was also a great reason I purchased this one as well. Pros: Easy to use software with a ton of profiles for different games you may play Easy to switch out weights to give you a heavy or a lightweight mouse. (I use three weights in mine and to me it is the perfect balance and reminds me of the wireless mouse I used and also use at work) The DPI is just perfect and easy to adjust on the fly, between fast paced games where you need to be able to move and aim quickly, or hold down one button and drop the DPI down for those accurate times. Amount of buttons are great, I am able to set different commands to it as needed for different games and allow me to easily run quick macros and more with just a mouse click. Cons: Lighting - The does not affect the performance of the mouse at all, but it would be nice to change the color of the lighting to something other than blue, I have a Corsair K70 that is Red LED, and it would be nice to match it. Case - Yes, it would be pretty nice to have a case of some sort included with this mouse, I sometimes pack up stuff and take them to a friends house to game with him, so it would be nice to put this mouse in a case so I don't end up loosing the weights and such. This mouse is also great for general computer use, I do some graphics editing here and there, and to be able to easily decrease the DPI of the mouse to be a little more accurate in stuff is pretty great. This is a mouse I would recommend to any gamer, to me the response is just perfect and the amount of buttons is perfect for FPS and more.

If they had the option for 4.5 stars that's what I'd give this mouse. Overall the best mouse I've used up to this point in time. I've used a Razer Ouroboros and a Corsair M65. Cons (for each mouse) Ouroboros it can get very uncomfortable on the wrist M65 the "forward & back" buttons are placed in a unnatural position. G502 the scroll wheel, I am not a fan of it. It works, but sticks out to much and doesn't feel right. Pros (each mouse again) Ouroboros versatile in the sense that it can go wireless, left or right, and good amount of buttons. M65 feels nice not a lot of strain on the wrist like the Razer mouse. G502 the most comfortable out of the 3. Out of the 3 mice my daily driver is the G502. As much as I hate the scroll wheel, it feels the best and it is the least amount of strain on the wrist. My mouse pad doesn't have a gel or anything specifically for the wrist. Main games I play are CsGo, L4D2, Gta5, and the witcher 3.

I've had about a month to run this mouse through the trials and I am very satisfied. I mainly use this for FPS and survival type games and it performs the task really well. Pros: Scroll wheel tactile feedback is very nice Comfortable thumb rest Plenty of well placed buttons Adjustable DPI up to and beyond any sensitivity I would need "Sniper" button to drop DPI on the fly Customizable with software Cons: My only con at this time is I would like it even a little heavier, but that is a persona preference, so I cannot dock the rating for that. 10/10 - Would buy again

Simply put, this mouse feels nice. RGB is not as flashy as my corsair mouse, but the subtlety works well with my g810 keyboard. Through the logitech software I can match up my RGB. The keys are put almost perfectly for my hands, the only gripe is the "Sniper" key on the bottom left is a little far.. It's just out of reach for my thumb, but I actually just use the sensitivity key instead. I used all the weight because I like a heavy mouse. It lets me better control my cursor. Best mouse I have purchased so far, beating out the corsair m65 Pro

The first time I ever used this mouse I was sold! Comfort and reliability are 10/10. I have even converted several friends to this mouse and the Hero version (They even agree that this is the best mouse). I could not recommend any other mouse but this one. I have used this model and the Hero version and neither have given me any problem. Whether it be some serious gaming or just some casual scrolling sites, everyone should have this mouse!

I've been looking for a new mouse for some time now and am glad I settled on this for a few reasons... 1st I have large hands and can appreciate a nice sized mouse, not too small and this one fits the bill... Secondly I play games as well as other duties on my computer so I needed something versatile enough for both and this one has it all - 3 profiles I can preset for gaming or photo editing etc..., 11 buttons I can program and heck you can even program the led to which color you want. Thirdly I like the weight system and how you can add or take away small weights according to your liking.

Overall a great mouse, my favorite. Logitech did well with this one. It can be either heavy or light, is very comfortable, built well, has a great sensor and awesome software. Also I have never heard or seen a Logitech peripheral fail in the first 5 years of owning one, so expect to keep it for the long hall. The weight is easy to change, a magnetized drawer at the bottom of the mouse holds 5 weights. Not a whole lot to say beyond it works well. The software is easy to use. Something I didn't think about before purchasing is that I switch computers a lot. This mouse has built in memory to keep your settings saved on the go. So all of my macros, DPI settings, and key mapping travel with me! The software once again is the highlight that allows you to this. Also nearly all of the buttons are programmable. Which is neat. Logitech has awesome build quality, and being this a flagship mouse its built very well. It is plastic but feels very nice in the hand, doesn't get grimy easily and has no give. When you squeeze it during frustrating times it won't flex or make noises. Also the cable is extremely durable, once again I move to different computers a lot and wrap the cable up. It is still in really good shape even though I may be a bit hard on it. I play a few different types of games. Anything from MMO's to FPS's. The sensor works well with all for whatever work load I need. For me coming from both the Corsair M90 and the SteelSeries World of Warcraft Legendary Edition it is the most comfortable, longer than those to and more ergonomic. I use either claw grip or palm depending on the game. A sloppy review, but overall an awesome mouse, would HIGHLY recommend. The only gripe I have, which has NOT effected me, is the two clickers next the left clicker (default to change DPI up or down) are easy to hit. But they are loud clicks, so you know when you need to click it back.

I have been using the Logitech G500 for years and loved it. After about 20 minutes of use I felt my hand getting tired. Once I put them side by side I could see that the G502 didn't have as much of a height/bulge in the palm as the G500. Because of lower height I had to pinch the mouse more between my thumb and pinky finger to move it. With the 500 I could rest my hand on it better. If you have bigger hands I don't recommend this mouse. I did like the styling and the way you could switch profiles with one of the programmable buttons which I couldn't do with the 500. The option to add weights is also a plus. If you have smaller hand or are used to a smaller mouse I would say give it a try.

I have been out of the PC gaming world for a handful of years now. I still daily use a Logitech G500 that is pretty old by now. It still looks, feels, and functions flawlessly. When I decided to build a new budget gaming PC, I decided to stick with a Logitech mouse since they have treated me well over the years. So far this 502 has been great. Different shape and feel from my G500, but it's comfortable, precise, and has good customization options in the Logitech gaming software. Adjustable weights are a nice touch as well.

I love this mouse. I have it with all the weights installed. I've tried lighter mouses but don't like how inaccurate i would feel (this obviously will vary from person to person). this is my standard and when this one will eventually give out, i will purchase another one. It has enough buttons for me to use in Escape From Tarkov and not overwhelming like MMORPG mouses that have like 30 buttons on them.

I've been using a Logitech G5 for years. Unfortunately, everything wears out eventually (in this case it was the cord fraying from nearly a decade of sliding over the corner of my desk). The fact that it lasted so long was a large part of my preference for Logitech products. However, I was already doubting I'd find something I'd like as much as my G5. I'd tried a couple of my friend's mice and never been tempted to change. Not having a choice, I was happy to see the G502 incorporates everything my old G5 had and improves on it. My favorite feature of both (and the main thing I was looking for in a replacement) was the adjustable weight. This has been improved upon by the ability to place the weights inside off-center in different configurations to alter the mouse's center of gravity, depending on your personal preference. The dpi adjustment is INCREDIBLY flexible with a wide range of adjustment and 5 separate presets, each of which is completely customizable. One thing that almost prevented my purchase was a problem with the display model. It may have just been the one in my Best Buy, but the mouse wheel was completely free-rolling. This would make certain tasks impossible, of course. It turns out that this is indeed a feature, but one that can be turned on and off on-the-fly. The shape is more ergonomic than the G5, as well. Although it took a bit of getting used to, I find that I can use it for much longer periods without discomfort. Oh, and the adjustable color of the indicator lights is just flash, imo, but it's pretty flash and kind of fun to play with. This also has available presets. Overall, yeah, love this mouse and Logitech scores again.
