Love it. Slim fit but not awkwardly slim. Works exactly how I wanted it to. Great price too. Bluetooth was easy peasy.
It's understandable that losing those two side-scrolling buttons on the MX Anywhere 3S came as a bit of a surprise, especially since you were used to them on the 2S. We truly value that kind of feedback, as it helps us understand what features are most important to our users. We hope the other advancements of the 3S still offer a satisfying experience for your needs!

This mouse is so much better than the apple Magic Mouse when it comes to ergonomics. It’s just as compact and easy to throw in the bag.
The new 3S model is an improvement over the regular Anywhere 3 model. The clicks are so quiet, I can finish work late at night without disrupting my wife. In a way it’s probably saving my marriage.

The best compact mouse yet plus high dpi this mouse will literally work anywhere even on transparent glass they made the mx anywhere 3s slightly smaller than the mx anywhere 3 and it doesn’t have a usb dongle which in my opinion should be obsolete unless maybe you are gaming.
We're delighted to hear you're a satisfied customer! It's fantastic that you're finding the MX Anywhere 3S reliable and easy to use. We're glad you're happy with your purchase!

terrible service

Terrible service from Best Buy and the delivery company Roadie, which they hired. I have been a victim and abused by both companies. On Saturday, April 19, 2025, I was robbed by a Roadie delivery driver who simulated a delivery and sent a blurry image of where he was leaving my order in a location that was not my home. From that moment on, I went out to look for my order since I had been monitoring it. I managed to locate the place where he had supposedly left my order. A neighbor pointed me out, and the video from a neighbor's camera shows how the delivery driver placed the package, took a photo, and then took it back with him, confirming it as delivered. I immediately contacted Best Buy by all means since I made the purchase with that company. Their response was that they had nothing to do with my order since they delivered it to Roadie. I called Roadie, and they said they delivered.
We are so sorry to hear about the incredibly frustrating and upsetting experience you had with the delivery of your order. It sounds like you were put in a very difficult situation, and we sincerely apologize for the trouble and distress this entire process has caused. We understand your disappointment and want to assure you that we take this feedback very seriously.

I’ve owned several Logitech mice and they’re some of the best all around mice. That includes the original MX Anywhere mouse. My only complaint with it is the use of micro-USB, and it can be a little loud in terms of “clicking” noises. The MX Anywhere 3 fixes those issues with USB-C and near silent clicking and has earned its place in my travel bag.
IN THE BOX
You’ll find the mouse and a USB-C cable and unifying USB receiver. It can operates via Bluetooth (you can technically use it as a wired mouse) or the USB receiver. I prefer Bluetooth so as to not take up use of USB port, but convenient option if your computer doesn’t have Bluetooth for some reason.
SETUP
It comes with the battery already slightly charged so you’re able to start using it immediately out of the box. There’s a power switch on the underside, you flip that, and hold the only other button on the bottom to put it in pairing mode. My laptop found it almost immediately. Using Windows 11, a popup window appeared asking me if I wanted to pair the mouse. Bottomline, it was a seamless process.
In using some Logitech peripherals in the past, I was prompted to download Logi+, the software to manage their devices. That didn’t happen here, but I downloaded it directly from the Logitech website. According to Logitech’s website, this mouse is supported by Logi+ supports this mouse. Meaning it wouldn’t show up as one of my devices within the app, even though it was connected - and working - with my laptop. My MX Keys Mini was recognized (also paired via Bluetooth). It’s not a big deal to me as I don’t anticipate needing or wanting to remap any of the buttons but it might matter to others.
DESIGN
This is a compact mouse that’s well built. It’s made of durable plastic that feels substantial but not too heavy. There’s rubber coating on the sides to give you some grip when using it. Sometimes with mice, my fingers rest too heavy on the buttons and click them by accident, but that’s not the case here. It’s easy to click, but they’re not so sensitive as to cause my me to accidentally click. It’s too small for me to use on a daily basis, but it’s the perfect size for traveling when you need a mouse (I simply cannot be productive with a touchpad). It features two buttons on the left side (sorry lefties) that I use to go forward and back. These buttons are also programmed to perform similar functions in various apps such as Adobe apps (redo/undo) and Word documents (same, redo/undo). On the top there’s a button that you can depress to switch to smooth scrolling (versus feeling like you’re spinning a gear). The former is better for quickly scrolling down a long web page or document, while the latter is meant for more purposeful scrolling. The scroll wheel has a nice textured grip that makes scrolling easy and precise. Honestly, the design for a travel mouse is as close to perfect as you can get.
BATTERY LIFE
With my original Logitech Anywhere mouse, I simply charged it every so often and left it in my bag. It was never dead when I needed it. I expect the same results, if not better, with this mouse. The battery life is like 70 days on standby, and while I haven’t owned the Anywhere 3 for close to that amount of time, my past experience leads me to believe that will be accurate. The battery life is superb. And even if it was dead, you could obviously plug it directly into a USB port or just charge it for 1 minute and you have at least 3 hours of battery life. Again, I didn’t test this assessment, but I did charge it for 1 minute and the battery life increased by 20% (according to Windows which gives me its battery life in percentages).
FEATURES AND USE
I have two laptops I use, one is a small travel one for work and another I use for video/photo editing. You can easily switch between 3 devices with a push of a button. All you’re required to do is to push the button on the bottom and pair it to your device during the first use. From there, just pushing the button automatically switches between them. It’s seamless and flawless. I don’t anticipate many people needing to quickly switch to different devices (i.e. two laptops on your desk) but it’s certainly possible and extremely easy to do if your circumstances call for it.
Another great feature of this mouse is that it works on virtually any surface, even glass. I don’t find myself using it on glass, but I did test it on an end table in my house and confirmed it worked. I don’t travel with a mousepad, and if you don’t, this is a big benefit as you need not worry about the surface you’re using. And the plastic skid pads on the bottom create a close to frictionless experience when moving the mouse around. Maybe not as precise as a professional FPS gamer might want, but for the average person it works great.
There’s not much else to say that I haven’t already said. This mouse is a pleasure to use, and I very much appreciate the “quietness” of the clicks versus the first gen Anywhere mouse. Granted, I never found the first gen mouse to be loud when I was using it, and I never had anyone complain about it, but it’s definitely noticeable (you feel it in your finger but don’t hear it) and I say that’s a good thing.
I also want to add this works with any Bluetooth devices. I don’t have a Macbook, but I’m confident it works just as well. I did easily pair it to my Galaxy Fold, and while I don’t anticipate using it on my phone (it was just a test case) I really appreciate the flexibility knowing that some people might.
CONCLUSION
If you travel frequently and are using a computer or any device that requires the precision of a mouse, I can recommend this mouse without reservation. Just taking into account its size and battery life, it’s a reliable tool for travelers. I don’t use mine everyday, but when I travel, it’s incredibly convenient and helpful to have with me. Like I said, it fits in my work bag and is always ready when I need it.

The Logitech MX Anywhere 3S is the follow up model to the highly popular MX Anywhere series. Compared the the previous MX Anywhere 3, this is a minor upgrade. But since this is a replacement model any upgrade is welcome.
First it maintains its ambidextrous design though the side buttons are only found in the left side. And like its predecessor it is still small and can be charged via USB-C of which a charging cable is included in the box. Logitech claims that like its predecessor, this mouse can be charged via a USB-C cable. No more batteries! And since Logitech claims the battery life is seventy days, I cannot verify this since I’ve had this product for only a few weeks. But honestly, having other Logitech mice can make good on this claim since Logitech mice are known to be power sippers and one AA battery can even last up to one year for certain mouse models.
The MX 3S now deals away with a dongle and is connected via bluetooth. Up to three devices can be connected to this mouse. Switching from one device is as simple as tapping on the toggle button located at the bottom of the mouse. Pressing the toggle buttons then allows you to assign a device. The mouse in general operates in Windows or Mac OS and can also be used in tablets. The one highlight for this mouse also is called Logitech Flow wherein you can use the mouse across several devices. You have to download the app though. But in my case I have to specific use for this function but it is nice to have for those who would need it.
One thing about this mouse is that it has an 8K DPI sensor meaning that it is much easier to scroll across larger screens. I have a 32” screen and adjusting the speed of this mouse definitely makes it easier for me. Like the Flow feature, it is best to adjust the settings on the app itself.
The performance of this mouse is such that it is ideal as your “one mouse to run them all”. Having the ability to connect to several devices negate the need to for several high performance mice. This product in essence is an all around performer that it can be used for business/schoolwork and even some gaming! I would highly recommend this product!

Great update to a great travel mouse!

Logitech’s latest premium offering, the MX Anywhere 3S sets a new bar for mobile productivity. The design and build continue the direction set by their MX Master 3 and 3S. The new sensor allows for precision control wherever you are working. While compact, it’s still comfortable and has a nicer feel than the MX Anywhere 2 mouse that I’m upgrading from.
The MX Anywhere 3S has 2 quiet click buttons and a nearly silent Scroll wheel. The scroll wheel defaults to ratcheting one line at a time but if you give it a good push it will autoswitch to a flywheel which allows you to scroll hundreds of lines at a time. Horizontal scrolling is achieved by holding one of the side buttons while scrolling with the main flywheel, a trick borrowed from it’s predecessor. The standard forward and back buttons sit on the left side for easy access by right handers.
Logitech has upgraded their mouse control software to Options+, which is a nice visual redesign from what’s been used up until now. Options + is, unfortunately, not compatible with some of Logitech's earlier mice in the MX Master family. Fear not, the original Options software will still work with the MX Anywhere 3S.
The mouse comes with a USB-A to USB-C cable for charging. However, you can use any USB-C charger. I used the charger for my laptop. The specs indicate it will hold a charge for 70 days of usage. While I wasn’t able to verify that, a full day’s standard office work barely drained the battery at all. Logitech has abandoned their unifying receiver with this mouse. It’s designed to work with Bluetooth and the Bolt receiver only. The Bolt receiver is designed for offices which have many Bluetooth devices that could otherwise interfere with each other.
Adding the mouse in Logitech Options+ was straightforward. Once added, I was able to customize the buttons for shortcuts I often use for closing windows and opening commonly used programs. The high resolution made it a cinch to use, even on large screens. It worked equally well on my Ipad as it did on my laptop. I would recommend this in a wholeheartedly to anyone looking to improve their productivity on the go and at a desk, too!

Arguably, the best medium-size mouse in the market now.
It is very smooth and works on any surface with no issues. It charges via Usb C but I do it very infrequently, maybe once in two months of use, the battery is that good. It is fully Bluetooth, with no Usb receiver included. The wheel is perfect for scrolling, no adjustment needed. I got used to it on a PC but then ended up buying a white and silver version for my Mac Mini system and I can tell that it looks great and is way better and more practical than the native Apple mouse. It is not cheap but I strongly recommend it.
We truly appreciate you taking the time to share your positive experience with the MX Anywhere 3S! It's fantastic to hear that you're finding it to be the "best medium-size mouse in the market" and that its smooth tracking on any surface is working well for you.

A great mouse made better

Logitech’s MX series is my go-to favorite for both keyboards and mice. I use the MX Keys keyboard and the MX Master mouse on my desktop every day. I also have the MX Anywhere 3 that I use with my laptops. With this in mind, I was interested in finding out what might have improved with the just-released MX Anywhere 3S. The answer is that the only real change is the improved 8K DPI sensor which has about double the resolution of its predecessor. That said, this is one great mouse made a bit better.
The Anywhere 3S mouse is compact with excellent build quality. It’s dark grey rather than black like the previous version. As with the rest of the MX line, it’s wireless and can either connect by Bluetooth or by using a Logitech Unifying Receiver. Battery life is super with up to 70 days on a charge, and it charges using a standard USB-C connection. As with many products, there is no charging block included, but there is a short USB-A to C cable. Interestingly, there was no Unifying Receiver included, but I find that with laptops I prefer a Bluetooth connection.
What sets this mouse apart is that it can pair with 3 different computers and switch between them using the button on the bottom. This combined with the Logitech Options software provides a flexibility that’s unique. You can program the middle button, the scroll wheel, and the additional three buttons to do just about anything you wish. Even better is that the programable functions can be set differently for different programs. When a program is launched, the mouse automatically shifts to the settings specific to that program. But wait, there’s more! The Options software also has a function called Flow. When enabled, you can be connected to two or three devices, and the cursor flows from one to the next just like an extended desktop setup with multiple monitors. You can even drag and drop between devices. The one restriction is that they must all be connected to the same WIFI network.
As said, this is a great mouse with a bunch of extra features. I highly recommend it to anyone wanting a first-class pointer. It’s solid, with a very long-lasting battery, and can work on any surface … even glass.

I received the Logitech bluetooth mouse and am so happy I ordered this one! Upon opening up the box you'll find a charging cable included but will need to provide a charger or use your computer's USB port. It holds a charge extremely well. Since I received it a few days back, and I've been using quite frequently, it's still at 95% charge. There is a small green light on top that blinks while it's charging and turns off when done.
You are offered 3 easy switch settings on the base so it can be connected via bluetooth to 3 different devices ~ desktop, laptop or tablet. That connection works flawlessly ~ paired with every device immediately without a hitch. It has a horizontal scroll feature while holding one of the 2 buttons on left side, a pointer speed setup with an Extend Sensor range to 8K DPI from 200 to 8000 and scroll wheel speed modes 0-100%. The default is 50% and I left it at that as it seemed the best scrolling for me. The scroll wheel works smoothly. You will need to access the Logi app to set some of the features but the 3 button device switch you can use without using the app as well as the scroll wheel, unless you need to adjust the speed.
It works beautifully on multiple surfaces just as advertised. I tried it on a vinyl kitchen tablecloth, wood desk, my kitchen counter and a glass top computer stand. This mouse worked perfectly on them all. Haven't needed a mouse pad yet. Very impressive!
I find it to be extremely responsive in all areas and very comfortable to use for long periods of time. I have small hands and it feels great.
I highly recommend this Logitech mouse and it won't disappoint you. Definitely a winner and an A+ purchase!

Using this mouse has basically spoiled using any other mouse that isn't an MX with how nice it is (coming from using a lower cost Logitech mouse)! This mouse is the perfect low profile mouse to take with you anywhere if you are a student, remote worker, or someone who travels a lot and wants to be productive on the go. With excellent build quality focused on comfort and tactility in a small form factor, the buttons are very clicky and responsive, the scroll wheel is extremely satisfying, tactile and precise, and there are extremely handy forward and back buttons on the side that are a must have for improved productivity. The hand shape and arch of the mouse is not as tall as other MX/general Logitech mice, but it honestly works perfectly for this mouse, as it's form factor is perfect for portability while maintaining comfort when using the mouse. The mouse connects via bluetooth, which, while technically has a "slower" response rate in terms of tracking as compared to wired or dongled mice, is actually relatively unnoticable to the untrained eye (you can see it more noticeably on high refresh rate screens, as it seems to run closer to 60FPS on my 144Hz display) and is perfectly fine to keep the mouse dongle-free and still very accurate and performant! The mouse can also remember 3 computers you've connected to at a time as well for seamless computer switching! One of the best parts of the mouse is that it tracks excellent on any surface - better than any mouse I have ever used because of it's special tracking sensor and 4 smooth pads underneath the corners of the mouse! This mouse is a must-have for on the go productivity!

I work from home and my company gave me a loud and bulky mouse that honestly made me just want to use the trackpad, and we know how bad trackpads are on most laptops. This mouse feels so good and it’s the perfect size for my home office or even for traveling I go to the office. The color matches my workspace perfectly, and visually this makes me super happy. For those of us who work from home, you know that having a visually pleasing work environment helps with productivity (at least for me!). This mouse adds the final touch to my set up and I am very happy!
Here are scores based on some of the features:
Design 5/5
Absolutely love the design and feel! Although is mostly plastic, it feels slick and a there is some weight to it but I actually like that very much. The color is beautiful. It’s like a mate finish.
Battery 5/5
I have used the mouse for about 2 weeks every workday from 9-5 and the battery is still going strong. Absolutely no concerns with the battery for me.
Controls and precision 5/5
It has enough options to customize even for gaming, but I am just using this for work so I am using the traditional buttons and it’s flawless.
Extremely happy! I highly recommend this product.

The Logitech MX Anywhere 3S mouse is a slick accessory that is adaptable to up to 3 different devices at one time. I was impressed with the look and feel of the mouse when I unboxed it and could tell that it would be a device that should last quite a while due to the quality of the product materials. I was able to quickly set it up and pair it with two different laptops since I saw the instructions on how to pair it and switch between several different devices. The nice feature of this particular mouse that I liked was that it would work on a glass mousepad type of surface which I recently upgraded to. I like how quickly and smoothly the mouse slides over the glass surface and has great precision on the screen. Later I saw the details of the rechargeable battery in it being able to last up to 70 days from one charge. I was impressed with the longevity of the battery but also that you can get up to 3 hours of use by quick charging it for one minute via the USB-C cable that is included.
I have only been using the mouse for a few days but it has already become my favorite out of several different models I regularly use.
