Great for what I needed it to do. I wanted a simple WiFi thermostat. Something that I can control remotely and that’s it. This has other features like scheduling and other smart features but I don’t use them. For the price I think it’s a great unit.

works good with Alexa, Google, so, so. I'm a do-it-yourselfer. I was about to return it, it would not work with the app. I called the customer service, I had to put the wire on the the furnace to get it to work. Though it was going to be a great task, it took 2 min. Then it connected to the app and Alexa.

I love my new thermostat! I can now manage my schedule and setting from the convenience of my phone. Everything is at the palm of my hand. No longer have to go downstairs to adjust thermostat and can even schedule when I am away from home.

Need 24v c-wire to power up for setup, otherwise you can not get it done.

Great smart thermostat can control from any where and easy to use. Did have professional install, but afterwards set up myself easily ie connect to internet and make settings for heat and cool.

2 weeks and still working — so it’s a winner. So far - no issues.

This thermostat works great. It was kind of difficult to install, we had to do some minor rewiring witht the help of the tech support. The directions to install are not very helpful.

Wanting to upgrade the thermostat that came with the house we purchased in the fall, we went with this LUX one. It worked great for the winter and then just recently stopped working. It was not working with our air conditioning and the house was insanely hot. Thinking something was wrong with our air and not the thermostat, we put the original one back on and that solved the problem. We also had issues connecting to the app so we didn’t even use the smart features.

Yes i bbouhht it on sale, but it should still have some information as to whether this item will work with your current unit and how to look before ordering so you dont waste time, money or the added stress and frustration. If i had known, i would have purchased a different thermostat that actually works with my unit and doesnt require me to rewire my a/C unit and thermometer.

First let me start by saying this is definitely a good upgrade for a first time wi-fi thermostat. I really wanted to be able to control the functions remotely, and this checked off that box. This is also a DIY job that anyone should be able to do. The setup is very straightforward and comes with different wiring diagrams to help you identify your current set up. ALWAYS be sure you label your wires when you unplug them from your current thermostat so you know which one goes where. If you need technical assistance you can call their support line. The big selling point for me was it came with an app. I like to be able to control or monitor the settings when I am not home. The app is pretty basic right now but I do expect they will make enhancements and it will only get better. I only gave 4 stars because it is pretty simple in design but it doesn't really blend in to the wall/decor. Nothing fancy, not touch screen, and maybe that is okay since I do most of the settings from the app. If you have never had a wifi thermostat I do recommend you give this a try.

If you’re looking for the WiFi connectivity, this isn’t it. Kept losing connection and I’d have to restart by disconnecting the unit and starting again. Returned and replaced with the cheaper Nest and it is rock solid. Sucks because I had gotten it on sale as well. Maybe just bad luck for me, but not a great experience.

Has absolutely made a difference in the way that my entire HVAC system works and maintains the temp in my home. Best thermostat i have ever installed

Love this thermostat. It works so much better than my old lux with the dial. However the instructions was incomplete and I had to call for assistance.
