My recent OLED purchase was the 2nd TV I've opted to calibrate for improved picture. I've been sold on this as a necessary service for any 4K TV. Why purchase such as TV and pass up the opportunity to improve the picture to be its absolute best? Geek Squad staff member was great. He educated me along the way to each step he was taking. It was great to know the whys behind the work. Finally the last step of the process was reviewing the picture quality of each connected device whether it was a streaming device, DVD, or cable. He even reviewed the cable arrangement of the connected. He found an issue with one connection that could be reworked to improve the picture even more. Working in the service industry myself, I knew this would be an extra since he was only there to calibrate the TV. He was upfront with that and provided a quote. I found it extremely reasonable and noted that I was open to changing out cables if necessary. He was honest and noted that wouldn't be necessary. It would be a simple re-arrangement of the connections. I highly recommend this service to anyone who wants the most of out their new TV. Cost is very reasonable and worth every penny. Even my non-greek friends can see the difference in the TV picture.

He did a great job and answered my many questions. Not a bad deal if you subscribe to their annual tech support program then this service is only $50. But be aware that they tend to dim your colors and soften the picture so much that you actually lose the super brightness and the deep color saturation that you see on a high end TV (like my QLED) in the store. We actually set ours back to factory settings because we like the bright and super colorful picture much better than the “computer perfect” one they set. The good news is that you can choose the factory settings or the custom programmed ones with A SIMPLE CLICK from a drop down menu under “settings-picture “. I don’t think this service is worth the $200 they charge for it if you don’t subscribe to their annual total tech support program.

I bought the 55 LG OLED recently and wanted the best picture quality possible so got the calibration too. The guy was super nice and cool, spent good amount of time with his gizmo's getting the job done. I feel BB should charge around 99-149 for this, not 249! It pretty much just calibrates 2 of the 10 Picture Mode settings under ISF Expert. I don't think viewing 4K content is even affected by the calibration b/c all picture modes are disabled except for HDR where you can toggle the saturation and deepness. Still makes everything else look really awesome when using Expert Bright/Dark. Would recommend for UHD 4Ks but hope they lower the price!

This review covers the GEEK SQUAD set-up of my Sony 75" Class - LED - 2160p - Smart - 4K Ultra HD TV with High Dynamic Range, a Yamaha AVENTAGE 7.2-Ch. 4K Ultra HD A/V Home Theater Receiver, a Klipsch Reference Premiere home theater surround sound system, the Harmony Elite Advanced remote programming and the calibration of my TV. First, I’d just like to say “Thank You” to Dakota, Derek, Dustin and the only guy whose name didn’t start with a “D”……Nephi. These gentlemen were amazing and they really knew their stuff!! The installation, programming and calibration of the TV required these gentlemen to show up on three separate occasions. They always arrived on time, were highly professional and did an amazing job!!!.

Calibration was scheduled by the sales person not realizing that the TV must be "burnt" in for 100 hours before calibrating it. The Technician visited, unknowing when we received the TV and was surprised that we had received it the day before his appointment. Knowing that we needed run for 100 hours he rescheduled the appointment for 1 month later at no charge. 2 weeks to go be for he gets here again.

I recently purchased the LG OLED B6 and the picture was stunning right out of the box. I will say that I was a little hesitant about signing up for the calibration service but after a few weeks I decided why not. WOW the results of the calibration services are incredible. The geek squad showed up on time and walked me through some abilities on the tv that I was not even aware of and and the results after the calibration are a must have for the OLED experience.

I was unsure what to expect with the MHT TV Calibration, but I was pleasantly surprised. The light emitted by th TV picture was dramatically reduced (because of the significant sunlight the room already gets) and the colors look sharper, deeper and more lifelike. There is definitely a noticeable, better picture quality.

They came to my house in great timing. They were very friendly and very helpful with explaining what they were doing I watched the whole procedure of the calibration process and was very impressed on how it was done. They did a great job and I was pleased with the results.

I didn’t know much about calibration, but the sales people at Best Buy talked me into it! Totally worth it! Especially being a part of the “Total Tech Support” program through Best Buy! My TV has much better coloration to it now and it looks better! Highly recommend this service!

Makes the best of the best TV’s look the best they can look. Small investment to make to get your best picture for everything you watch. Helps give you control of brightness and contrast for your specific room. Definitely recommend for higher priced sets.

My tv picture was awful. The color was terrible, even after attempts to calibrate it ourselves. You technician, Beau, came in a worked to get our tv picture perfect. And it is just that. I am now enjoying my set. The calibration made a tremendous difference.

Best recommendation from Best Buy to purchase a service on. Our tv looks amazing and the picture is life like. Our tech guy was friendy, arrived early and even played with our dog while explaining and educating us on the product!

Ran through all the technical components, then took the time to explain every setting, demonstrate the difference, and ask for our concurrence with best setting. Worth the investment to have it done right, the first time.

This is one of those reviews. The guy who did the calbration showed up on time and was very curtious. On the other hand trying to get the set up appointment was a nightmare, No one ever answerd the phone or did not return calls once they had called and set an appt. Once I had a specific appointment they did no show up. Needles to say that trying to get ahold of some one in management or even the store was almost impossible. Seems that communication between the actual store and the geek squad and the customer needs some improvement.

We recently had Edward, do a MHT TV calibration on a newly purchased LG OLED TV set. The depth and clarity of the picture is outstanding. Edward is very professional and is an outstanding technican.

Service representative was very knowledgeable and worked meticulously to calibrate our television. He explained what he had done showing the before and after results Very pleased with this service.

it took some time for us to get used to the calibration but now we are so accustomed to it when we see a TV that does that isn't calibrated it looks cartoonish highly recommend getting this done

I cannot day enough about this service or the guy who calibrated my TV. It’s an incredible difference in the picture and color when you you do a TV calibration. Well worth it.

I’m waiting the recommended three months to have my TV calibrated and cannot wait to see if and how much better quality I get then they already excellent quality I have!!:):)

The color calabration was good when Q7 TV purchased! But, after calibration it was absolutely beautiful. David the geek squad tech really knows his business.
