I always thought the Surface units from Microsoft were overpriced and underperforming, but after buying a couple of USED Surface Pro 3 units from an auction site, my mind was changed and I am now a fan. I purchased this Surface Laptop 3 15" notebook as an 'open box' unit to save a few bucks. I came in a few days and was in great condition (even had the original box and packaging). It starts quickly, boots fast, and after a few Windows 10 setup steps, it is ready to enjoy. The keyboard is backlit and feels great, as does the over-sized touchpad. The screen is the best I have ever seen or used, bright & clear from ALL angles. The wifi and bluetooth connect quickly and stay connected, and it runs all of my software like a champ. Don't let the 8GB of ram fool you, this guys runs FAST and these new M.2 2230 small drives are very fast. The build quality is the best I have ever owned, and the battery is long-lasting, and charges up fast. The case is elegant and has a solid feel in your hands. The small SSD hard drive can be upgraded, but good luck finding a M.2 2230 drive sold commercially. Not yet, but when I can find one, I will probably buy it. But I can get all of my stuff on the 128GB just fine and room to spare. Overall, I am thrilled with my new computer and am happy to recommend it to anyone wanting a great machine at a fair price. BTY, the AMD processor and GPU work very well and are fast. I like the new Ryzen products. Get one and be happy for Thanksgiving & Chrismas.

This laptop is amazing. The instant awake feature has the laptop on in a flash. Not only that, but the light weight makes this computer something that can be taken anywhere. The keyboard is pretty decent too. Not as good as a Thinkpad, but better than a Macbook or any of the standard keyboards that most regular laptop companies use. The touch screen is also pretty nice too. Though the one reason I would recommend this laptop is the battery life. This laptop just keeps on going and going. The battery on this unit is strong and is a true workhorse.

It has everything I need. I also got the license for Word, PowerPoint, etc. in store and it was really easy to set up. (I’m not the best with technology.) This thing holds a charge forever! I love the touch screen! I can go back and forth from that to the keyboard easily. It’s also very light!

This laptop is very fast and easy to work on. It keeps its charge for a long period of timing making it good for taking to school. It's lightweight and easily fits in your backpack.

I purchased This laptop to replace my dying Surface Pro. The fact that it is a Microsoft computer with no bloatware makes it a breeze to set up and get going without having to format drive. As far as computer performance it is designed for everyday work tasks nothing fancy as it does not have dedicated graphics. 16Gb DDR4 ram makes for great performance Great laptop recommended for its battery life and portability.

My old computer wouldn't work for me anymore so I had to buy a new one. This is perfect for everything I need to do and more. Its processor is fast and the battery life is great for on the go travel. I would recommend using the power save mode or your battery will run out alot quicker and you'll be rushing for a charger. The keys are nice to type on and the track pad feels so smooth. The lack of ports on the sides is concerning but so far I haven't missed them at all.

Bought this laptop for myself so that I didn’t have to share with my wife’s desktop. Really like the screen size and uncluttered look of the tablet.Highly recommend this Microsoft Surface.Easy to pick up and learn right from the start.The buttons have a nice high quality feel when typing and the battery life is amazing.

The screen is clear and sharp, good battery life and amazing speakers in this small package. The price on sale was very reasonable for a laptop with all metal case.

I waited until the Surface Laptop came out with a 15" version and when they did, I bought 2. They are great laptops! Good battery life, light, durable!

The first one I got kept restarting itself. Returned and got a new one. It is great. A long battery life and very light weight. I love the face recognition.

I love most things about this computer. The price for 849.00 could not be beat. The keyboard to me feels flimsy and non substantial. I write a lot of papers and ended up getting a Bluetooth keyboard instead. It’s sleek and cool and the picture is amazing. Battery life is about 6 to 8 hours of hard use. All day if just surfing the internet.

Great Laptop for the money. I previously used the Surface Book with detachable keyboard and the performance and battery were terrible. This is much better and doesn't get unbearably hot either.

Love it, love it, love it. Great computer for school and it was on sale for 899$ for a 15 inch is an amazing deal. Favorite thing is screen resolution, keyboard feedback, and battery life.

Been using the Surface Laptop 3 15" for almost a year. I haven't had any problems so far. Battery life is the same as when I purchased it.

great looking laptop. Setup was easy. It starts up fast and runs programs fast. Ithas a 10-12 hour battery life.
