over heats
||Posted . Owned for 2 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Speakers buzz when listening to speech. Wi-Fi turns off when computer over heats. Computer gets very warm when watching YouTube videos at double speed after 20 to 30 minutes, then shuts down Wi-Fi Had computer shut down once after about 2 hours of work. Computer is okay if you don't multitask for to long. I have a feeling why the computer was a discounted return. I was told the previous owner returned it only after 5 days.

2GB reserved for shared video RAM?
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The design and feel of the laptop is great. But I can't understand why it needs to reserve 2GB for video RAM. With the base model of 8 GB, only 6 GB is available for use by the OS, drivers and Apps. It's crazy. Phones nowadays have that much RAM. There should be at least a BIOS option to decrease the reserved RAM if the user doesn't need it (eg. not playing games).

Technical issues
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought this laptop for school and assumed it would be a really great computer, however, the day I got it and played around with it it turned off and on a few times. I looked over the problem and didn’t address it until it started happening again and again and again, almost a daily issue. When I was doing my school it turned off 4 times and I had to keep redoing my homework over and over again each time. I googled if this happens to anyone else and it surely does. They suggested adjusting the sleep settings and battery settings to a higher time and I thought it was finally working, but a few days after I did that it started turning off and on again. Then my last straw with this thing was when the screen completely froze. I had to force shut it down and then I finally returned it for a new and DIFFERENT laptop. Less than 3 weeks I had that thing. I would not recommend this for anyone who wants a quality computer. Upside is it’s a light laptop and attractive looking.

1 year review
||Posted . Owned for 1 year when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Ive had this laptop for over a year and I really wanted to love it but I just cant really recommend it. The laptop I have currently is actually the laptop microsoft sent me as a warranty replacement because the display just went out. I didnt drop it or spill water, I was just watching a youtube video and a green line just appeared across the display. They were quick to send out a repair which I like but now this replacements touch pad no longer responds to force clicks and I had to switch the settings to respond to tap so I can continue to use it. It still works great other wise. I may have just gotten unlucky both times but when this track pad bits the dust I will be switching brands unfortunately

So slow it's painful
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.SKIP THIS. Its a beautiful build, amazing speakers, and gorgeous display. The AMD processor in it is a big let down, slows it so bad that there is visible lag and stuttering in normal tasks. Skip this and buy the 13.5 intel version instead. After buying that and returning this I realized how bad of a product it is.

Not worth it
||Posted . Owned for 6 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Slow processor, limited RAM which gets eaten up by the GPU, and terrible features like "automatic contrast" that keeps changing the screen gamma and brightness every few seconds. It's just poorly planned out features and way too expensive considering even Apple laptops are cheaper and faster.

Glitchy and uncomfortable
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Laptops should not be uncomfortable while on your lap. The material is cold and the design rigid. The mousepad is way too sensitive. The screen light on this thing needed an exorcism because it would not stop dimming and brightening on its own. Returned it.

nice screen size, but not a good deal even on sale
||Posted . Owned for 4 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I really wanted to like this lighter laptop to replace the macbook pro I have, but the processing power and the 128GB ssd are way behind the times, even at the sale price. There really shouldn't be anything lower than 256.

Not even close to what I expected
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Battery life didn't come close to what it claims. Not as user friendly as other laptops. Nice and light however, but that was the least of my concerns.
