We bought this as it was the most user friendly. For the price, it had less storage and RAM than another we were considering we were considering, but ease of use was our primary consideration and it is an excellent system.

Got this laptop during the black Friday sale. Price was great for such a stylish Windows based laptop. There are no major issues while using. Build quality is really good. Keyboard is just fine. Trackpad could be better and bigger (glass+force touch). Screen is awesome with great colors. So overall quality is on really good level. But after a week of usage the sleep mode started to fail. It basically couldn't wake up after some time off closed lid. Had to hard restart it 5 times in one month. Didn't want to waste my time with factory reset and Windows setup. And didn't want to think what would happen after 5 month of usage. I was MacBook user for the last 4 years and about 15 years PC user before that. Windows stability is improved a lot, but still is far from MacOS stability and simplicity. Switched back to MacBook. It's better to pay more now and have no any troubles for years, than pay less and then reinstall Windows every month. Anyway Microsoft did a great job with Surface Laptop 3. I hope in few years it will be on the same level with MacBook.

The size and design is great. It’s lightweight. It is a little slow for developing applications. I need to have multiple programs open. It works well for Zoom conferences and using a few programs at the same time.

Portability is terrific, as is speed. Internet connectivity is not always as consistent as our other laptops (Windows and Chromebooks), which was surprising. Overall pleased.

The speed is comparable with macbook. The tough screen is a good point. However the downside is the tough pad sometimes doesn’t work well. I will give 4.5 points

Not a bad laptop, definitely a mid range laptop at best. In my 3 weeks of using it I've only noticed one odd thing about it, sometimes if you have alot of tabs open and you try loading something it will disconnect you from the internet can only assume it's just because of maxing out the ram capacity as it's only 8gb. Definitely not a bad laptop for the price I enjoy it. Overall quality [7/10] Overall performance [8/10] (for buisness use) Verdict: I would recommend it for a basic buisness and college laptop

      Hello there,

We're glad that you're enjoying your new Surface Laptop 3 for the most part, but sorry that there's an issue with your Wi-Fi connection. First, we recommend updating all your drivers to the most recent versions. If that doesn't help, please troubleshoot the issue with Surface Support here: https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/surface-laptop?ui=en-US&rs=en-US&ad=US

      Hope that helps,
      Chuck

All in all, an excellent product. Its a premium laptop with mild specs, but the build quality is phenomenal, and the keyboard and trackpad are still the best you can get on windows. But Best Buy is a frustrating place to buy a computer - the sales reps are told repeatedly by the company to inform you, the customer, that they are "not paid by commission" which while technically true, is not helpful. They follow this statement by insisting over and over again that you ought to buy every warranty you can, and to open a credit card too. Guys - take the hint. If I say I know what I want, and I don't want anything extra, just let me have that. It's cruel that corporate forces this competition on it's employees, and the experience was bad enough that I probably won't be buying anything from Best Buy again...well, at least not in person. It's a shame.

This was fro someone else, but I have used it a bit, and it works great. The keyboard and build quality are great, the screen is amazing, and it fits the role we got it for perfectly. We ended up getting it under price with an open box deal, which is the only caveat; at full price, there are better options for the same amount. Besides that, the Surface Laptop 3 is a solid choice,

Very happy with this laptop. Did have one day it when I get not get it one for some reason. but after about 24 hours it turned on again. I did take it in and have it checked out but they were unable to find anything. Also, the screen cracked at some point - a hair line crack but goes from the top of the screen to the bottom. This laptop has had no falls, hard hits etc. Not sure if the screen was cracked when I bought it or not. You can only see it in certain light.

I love most things about this computer. The price for 849.00 could not be beat. The keyboard to me feels flimsy and non substantial. I write a lot of papers and ended up getting a Bluetooth keyboard instead. It’s sleek and cool and the picture is amazing. Battery life is about 6 to 8 hours of hard use. All day if just surfing the internet.

Very well built laptop and somewhat lighter than most. No complaints. I bought an open box item so I did have a few issues that the Geek Squad guys sorted out well for me. Not sure I would have paid the regular price for a laptop without a discrete video card, but for what I paid it was well worth it.

I use this labtop for graduate classes. I love the size and it is very lightweight. I just wish I purhcased the model that folds to turn it into a tablet. It has a touchscreen but what's the use if I can't use it as a tablet.

I have a Surface Laptop 13.5 inch with core i5 and 128 GB storage. I really like the laptop but I prefer the bigger screen of this 15 inch. I know that the processor is not as good as the intel but I sacrificed processor for a bigger screen and log price. So far it is good for middle of the road productivity for work and home.
