I love it lightweight and fast to get up and going!

This is a great computer to have. Fast boot up and very light for my use. I travel with it everywhere I go. There are two things that bothers me though. The compatibility setting is horrible. I can't get some apps to display correctly. The other thing is the black light bleach along the bottom of the screen when it boot up.

Due to my traveling for work so often, I needed a new computer that was powerful enough to run all of the applications that I need on a daily basis but also small enough that it wouldn't bog me down too much. This fit the bill to the T. Only downside is that the battery doesn't seem to last quite as long as the timer indicates.

not much help from customer service either Microsoft nor best buy. I love the highly overpriced item for its features....but the crashing and at this price...i have some buyers remorse.

This is a solid piece of equipment. The pen is amazing. Clairity of screen unparalleled. The only knock would be the keyboard jumps around when you're typing on it. When you leave a webpage open (and not moving the cursor) it will selected stuff and click links you had no intention of clicking on.

Out of all the electronic devices I have purchased, Microsoft's Surface line of products has never disappointed. After I had to return my Wacom 27QHD because of shipping damage (ordered from Wacom store itself, not via best buy) I decided to try my luck with a smaller, portable solution. I previously owned a surface 2 and surface 3 but neither delivered on the artistic specifications I required, but we're excellent hybrids for how they were put to use. At first the S4 had it's issues, but ever since the release of the newest surface pen and past updates from Microsoft, the Surface is undeniably a purchase well worth its asking price. I primarily use my surface as an artist's tool, but am able to run low-spec games without a problem as well. The hybrid functionality keeps the Surface compact and easy to manage when on the go. Don't let the tablet appearance of the Surface fool you, it's a remarkable system and all-encompassing alternative within the graphics digitizer market.

Needs better battery life---barrery life is terrible compared to iPADs Also is a BIG bother for condownlads of windows updates. Cannt Microsoft write software that does not require CONSTANT updating? Apple products are not like this Recommend to a freind below---only if they need a windows machine

Bottom line: I would buy another one. Windows 10 takes some getting used to. Some of the applications are difficult to locate because I'm not used to it. The add on virus protection stops my typical secure websites but I will figure that out. Basically I do love the surface pro 4.

So conducive to being a computer science student. I mostly use it to write programs, and I make daily lists using one note. I can't believe how fast the surface is, and how clear the picture looks. I shopped around quite a bit looking for the right laptop. So happy I went with the SP4.

Finally decided on what to get....Needed a new Laptop/Tablet so went with this great pick...I love it, it does everything and more...I needed something powerful but easy to carry around...So far,so good or should I day "So great!!!" I'm actually typing this review on it now....

The flexibility to use as a tablet and have full PC functionality is great. Love be the ability to take handwritten notes, and the mouse works great. Very portable with the small form factor of the device and its accessories.

I needed a new work laptop and instead, I decided to go with the surface pro 4 and I've only had it for two weeks now, but I'm loving it. The SSD and i7 processor make it so much faster than my previous work computer. And it's easier to take to meetings and take notes on.

I am not a pc user, and honestly I'm sold on this one. Very easy and intuitive to use thanks to Windows 10. I love the pen feature and how light and sleek looking this tablet/computer is. It's pretty quick and the facial recognition is really a neat feature too.

As a student I write a lot of papers and function between several systems at a time and this laptop has never failed me. Plus, it's light weight is great for hauling around campus and the removable keyboard means I can watch Netflix comfortably anywhere. Perfect for college

I bought the Surface thinking to replace my iPad 2 and old lap top. As a replacement for my laptop. Great! Perfect for 99% of what I do. As for the iPad...battery life doesn't compare and it's too big comfortably read on the kindle app. Overall I am happy with my Surface!

I purchased this laptop because I wanted to upgrade from my old laptop that I had. It was a brick compared to this one even with a case. I really like how versatile this one is. I can take notes on it and now I don't need to bring my notebooks to class.

The screen resolution is fantastic, it's response to touch is perfect. The speed that comes with 16gb and the i7 processor blows my laptop away. Windows 10 is much better than windows 8. I love my surface pro 4

I did a lot of research before I went ahead and purchased my Surface Pro 4. Right out of the box it does more than my old slow PC ever thought of. It's fabulous for school and I like that it can replace my desktop completely. I'd buy again for sure!

This is a great replacement for a standard laptop. I use it for travel because of it light weight and ease of use anywhere. I use as both a student and for business with your typical programs i.e. Windows office suite, Internet, and emails. If your wanting to do programming it's probably not the right choice but those type of people already know that.

I bought this to replace my Surface Pro2. So far love everything about it, especially the larger beautiful screen. Hoping I don't have to replace the power cord every 2 months as I do with the pro 2 now. Gave it 4 stars instead of 5 due to the $1700 price tag.
