I really like the surface it is everything I wanted . Like they said a tablet and laptop in one. I only wish they had included something more than a cardboard fold out telling you where the ports were and showing how the back opened. A few instructions would have been helpful. Not everyone is familiar with this new item. But as usual Best Buy was there and all is well.

The tablet is a nice size and has a bright, clear display. The touch screen is intuitive and fairly easy to get used to and use. Although it's challenging to accurately 'touch' the right box or item when things are small and close together on the screen. The keyboard is also easy to use and is actually very easy to type on for it's small size. I have had the tablet lock up to where it wont rotate correctly and would not respond till I completely shut it down. Also several times this happened in conjunction with the ability to use the keyboard as well. Every time I had to shut the tablet down and let it sit for 10 minutes before it would work correctly. The Windows RT OS is decent, but does lack certain features from regular Windows OS's that make it a bit frustrating at times. Overall I am satisfied with the product though. It does allow me to surf the net, watch NetFlix and YouTube, read eBooks, and email just fine.

I don't need a bazillion apps for business, only basic ones that work extremely well. I've been pleased with the Surface RT in that regard. Best is the Office suite, with few compatibility issues so far. I've used it every day at work, with no problems. Disappointed in the lack of wired LAN support - even from third parties. MS apparently cease-and-desisted the lone maker of a USB Ethernet device, and they were forced to pull their driver from the market. Hoping a travel router will solve the problem on the road. Also spent the extra bucks for the "Type" keyboard. If I did it over again, I would have done that in the first place. But I use it every day, and get lots of compliments from folks who are getting a little iPad overloaded. I'd do it over again...easily.

awesome tablet. with the touch cover it's a perfect extension of my laptop to go to meetings or do some work on the plane. Ipad was always silly to try to hunt and peck on the glass screen with the apps and trying to get data on or off what a pain. This is simple all the way around, add storage as you want with sd cards. It just works!

I was happy to purchase this and told that as soon as I logged on that everything would come up on it just as it does on my home computer. WRONG! I am not a techie and not one to sit on the phone for hours trying to get a tech support to help me talking in a language (both technical and with an "accent") I can't understand. I was misled by the sales rep and I think that they should spend more time and personally themselves set up your Surface, tablet or computer rather than refer you to the line at the Service counter or to meet with the Geek Squad. I already had to wait my turn for the sales person and don't have time to wait on someone else! I now have a Surface RT that tells me it can't download my e-mail program and doesn't seem to sync to my computer. If I could set an appointment that works for me with someone at the store (for free since I already spent several hundred dollars for the purchase) to assist me in setting it up to meet my needs then it would work out. My fear is that the Surface RT may not have been what I should have been directed by the salesperson to buy - now I keep hearing Surface Pro and wonder if that is better and what I should have purchased - or just stayed with my iPAD

I like the bright clear screen. The keyboard is easy to use and dethatch and it is a go anywhere computer. As more apps come out it will be more fun to use.

I bought the tablet for work use. Great for fast presentations long battery life is a plus. Only bad thing is when you update the apps it used a lot of storage space, but when I go to apizarro.worldventures.biz is when I realized that it was perfect for what I do

I bought this as a christmas present for my son. He was really excited when he got it but after a day or two he really just didn't like the limited applications at the app store and didn't care for windows 8. We took it back and purchased the iPad 4 and he is very happy.

Over all this has been a great product. I was not ready to give up the big bulky laptop I've carried for years but this made me rethink everything. I got to keep my desktop and still get my apps at the touch of the screen. Love the new Windows OS. If your still using that big bulky laptop, it's time to try something new.

This tablet is a good entry level tablet, but what stops it from becoming an awesome one is the keyboard. The one I bought included the factory one and it's kind of hard to type on. If you have a choice, get a keyboard that actually has buttons and not just the pads.

This is a great product I love how one minute it's a tablet then the next I'm doing school work on a tablet. Plus the battery is great I maybe change it once a week.

The surface is a wonderful universe, user friendly, easy cloud (skydrive)share feautures, microsoft software, long lasting battery, nice size and performance, mini sd card slot, usb, and just great design and fun to operate.

Overall the tablet was worth my money. You can use Microsoft Office on it. The navigation is real easy. Only thing bad is that is has limited free apps.

Love this tablet. It is lightweight and so portable. I needed a piece of equipment that would travel well with all the other things that teachers have to take on overnight field trips. The RT fit the bill and was perfect for keeping track of happenings at school and on the road.

Does (at least as far as I have learned at this time) what I want. Seems like a solid machine. I'm not concerned about it being fragile. Good battery life. Reasonably intuitive.

I would recommend anyone to purchase it, battery last two or three days and I am always on it. Would definately purchase again!!

This was a gift and I was the giver.RECOMMEND adding the seperate keyboard-as it makes BIG difference.Looked at every other device and this one was the best choice.It is used at least four hours a day and performs very well. Does need to be charged daily -IF used for extended periods of time OR left on. HIGHLY RECOMMEND.

This is a great device that allows for fun and play but also actual work. Seamless design and easy to use. Also the touchcover is outstanding and all my friends with Ipads are very jealous!

Overall satisfied and love this product! I have a windows phone and having the surface to pair with it has been great! Am a college student and love the portability of the surface and ease of use with it!!

Me and my boyfriend were looking for a decent computer that he could use for school and easily bring in his backpack. It has a decent size screen that is very bright. The keyboard is small but takes some getting used to. Overall a great product for what we needed.
