Most new T.V.s have this feature built in but this was a life saver for my older model. If you have a lot of wireless devices running in the same room you might have trouble with signal interference.

Very nice not having to use a long cable to connect laptop to tv

I had to take this on the road for a speech I was giving. I plugged it in to the tv screen for projecting my powerpoints and it worked flawlessly. Plug and play! This is a very simple, very good product that I can't recommend enough. It's small and fits in my bag. I use it in the office some, but it really shines when you have to travel.

This is the first time I use one of these and so far I have had no problem.

I was able to install this item on my TV and connect my computer from sitting at my desk. It performed well but I did notice so latency issues with HD video.

Check, check, check your device to make sure it supports projection technology. If you don’t have it, it will not work. Period!, if you do have it, then it is an amazing device to have for multi media, presentations, or just when you need a screen and don’t want the cables.

This cable has worked well. There has been no issues.

I have 2 of these devices. I don't use them a lot, but it's good having them just in case. However, I have had a little trouble getting them up and running. This last one had less issues, but still. Out of the box I had trouble getting a reliable connection to the video receiver. Once I did (after about 4 tries), I was able to update the firmware. After that, the connection is quicker and apparently, more stable. Also, the button (that I assume is a reset) doesn't seem to do anything.

This was exactly as advertised. Its like the apple TV for windows for projection onto your monitor or projector but of course without the apps and stuff. Love it and would recommend it to anyone who is looking for a wireless conenctor for your laptop to your screen or proejctor.

Was a challenge for a non-technical person to get it working and to continue to use it. It is a slow connection.

The 2nd generation Microsoft Wireless Display adapter is a huge improvement with a new user interface that shows how to connect, the ability to rename the device and clearly show the name and more. The connection stability is improved over the 1st Gen version.

She is so thrilled to see her screen on the tv !!!

This is my second wireless video adapter. I already had one, but this came in a bundle so I kept it. I admit it has improved since the previous version which I almost returned because I could not get my PC to connect. I did have some issues connecting this to my laptop, but it was less painful than the previous one. Also, once it connected and I updated the firmware, it hasn't had a problem. Also, the "reset" button doesn't seem to do anything! Get it fixed!
