I love the Halo franchise, so when I wanted to upgrade from my old Xbox, this was the perfect choice. The case and controller graphics are cool, and the special power-up/tray-open sounds are fun. It's also smaller than my old xbox, which makes travelling with it much easier.

The HALO4 xbox360 edition is all I ever could ask for. Its larger hardrive is great for all types of great entertainment. I reccommend it to all ones that can use the space for games etc... and plus ,, You get a HALO4 game with it...

Microsoft needs to do their marketing research a little better next time around because if the "Next Box" resembles anything like this it will surely fail to the competition. Unless, of course, their only competition is Sony. Nintendo doesn't count. You see, the Xbox has controllers that don't even come equipped with rechargeable batteries, a HDMI cord for HD gaming, and in my case a console that actually works. Yea, I had to exchange it for another one. No ring of death but instead another realm of problems. If it weren't for the awesome backing of Halo 343 and XBox Live DEDICATED servers service, I'd be pretty disgruntled. Now for whatever reason, Microsoft decided on a Radeon equipped with DX 9 instead of DX10 enabled GPU. This cannot be rectified as it is a closed box after all. So a bit of foreshadowing for you here, please. Next time around make a console that has power going for it out of the box and use your dedicated servers for added GPU virtualization. Enter the new paradigm. And include an HDMI cord while your at it. Memory is always a useful thing too.

My other xbox RROD'd and I waited for this bundle to replace it. The console works great, and the extras make the price worth picking up the bundle.

I would recommend this product to any one interested in gaming, especially halo fans.

I needed to replace my 5 year old console. I wanted to get halo4 anyhow so it was just a good time to buy both.

That is my only complaint. The console is promoted to have unique sounds to it that are from the game itself...for when you start up the console and use the eject button. IT sounds awful.... I played the entire game and completed it on Legendary, and when I got my console, I hooked it up, and the sounds with the eject button and "on" button did not sound like a thing from the game. I couldn't even really understand the sounds...if that makes sense. It sounded like a static-y mess. I returned mine and best buy let me.

We bought this system for my fiance so we wouldn't have to play split screen any longer. The Xbox 360 system is great! I read a review of someone saying the plastic seemed cheap since it was see through and what not. This is not the case, the system seems just as well if not better built than the regular black slim I currently own, and a far cry from the original RRoD making systems. The sound effects are pretty lame to be honest, but they add character to the system ;-) What I like best about the system is the HDD space it comes with prevents you from needing to order a bigger HDD online, and the Blue light on the front. The controllers are the only reason I did not give this product a 5/5. We have a Microsoft Plug and Play and Nyko Plug and Play set. For some reason the Nyko would not charge in the controllers however the Microsoft one did. It's definitely not a deal breaker, but it just makes it a hassle since I have to use one of my old controllers to charge the battery up and plug it back into the Halo 4 one (I stole one of the controllers to use on my system :P ). The overall quality: feel and looks of the controller are great. the d-pad spins letting you have deeper set directional arrows or very little depth like the newer 360 controllers. The joy sticks are very great like normal and the biggest improvement from the controller I bought a few months ago vs the new one are the shoulder buttons. They seem to be more responsive and more satisfying to press. The headset is a standard 360 headset. Does it's job if you do not have a gaming headset, but I would recommend upgrading to either the Halo 4 Triton headset or a Turtle Beach headset. The last thing is Halo 4, which I'm sure you can youtube a great in depth review so I won't bother, other than saying it is definitely a great game. If this is your first 360 system, it would be a great game to keep you occupied for hours and hours. Plenty to do whether you enjoy playing through a great campaign along with the Spartan Ops which they are coming out with new episodes every week, online and split screen multiplayer which has been revamped and greatly improved, or even creating your own version of the maps with forge mode. Forge is great for making race tracks/obstacle courses/ player vs player maps/ or even just great buildings and castles. Pretty much whatever you can think of. All in all, this is a great purchase for people that are looking for their first Xbox 360 system, Halo collectors, or someone like myself needing another Xbox in the house.

Overall, this was a heck of a deal considering everything you get with it. 320GB HDD, two controllers, headset, not to mention the fancy design on the console and controllers. I bought this as a replacement for my 1st gen 360. The slim is a little bit smaller, a lot better looking, and a hell of a lot quieter. Something I do not see in the reviews here that you will see all over the place in Amazon reviews is the crack on the case. Mine is only about 3 inches long, and appears to be a manufacturing defect. Over at Amazon, apparently people have returned them several times and the new ones sent are still cracked. I decided to not return mine as it isn't really noticeable unless you look for it, I just wish Best Buy would tell you in advance for those that may have a problem with it.

I was checking out prices between different Xbox versions. Between it having the 320gigs, 2 controllers, AND the Halo 4 game, it was a no-brainier. Add the cool FOTUS skin and the halo wrap on the console and controllers.

this Halo 4 Xbox is probably the best Xbox console available right now for what you get (320 gb console, 2 controllers, DLC, wired headset, and the game itself. all of this separate is probably around 500-600 dollars. and the bundle is 350. great deal, I just wish it came with an Xbox live gold card.
