I bought these after returning a pair of Bowers&Wilkins C5 headphones. The Bowers&Wilkins had outstanding sound clarity and with their unique loop that holds them in the ear, they would stay in place even when moving around. The only downside was quality, the left earpiece stopped working after 3 weeks of use. The sound quality and fit alone were easily worth their price tag which was almost double of the Monster DNA price. Now on to the DNA's. Like I said they are lightweight and after trying several of the included tips they fit well in your ear initially but after trying my "yawn" test the seal breaks a little and they have to be reinserted. This didn't happen with the Bowers&Wilkins set. The sound quality is very good for the price but again the Bowers&Wilkins were much better but that was expected at the lower price. The reason why I didn't exchange the Bowers for another set was I didn't want to spend $200 for a another set of headphones and then have them break in 3 weeks, I have read some reviews that Bowers&Wilkins customer service is not the best to deal with, my first pair were covered under Best Buy's extended Christmas return period after the normal 2 week return period. I had considered the Bose Quiet Comfort 20's but without being able to test them out like the over the ear models in the store, $300 was pushing it for me. I would recommend these to anyone looking for a good mid priced in ear headphone. They are worth the money, but if your looking for outstanding sound clarity and fit and are willing to take the risk on quality (maybe I just got a bad pair) then get the Bowers&Wilkins.

From 1 to 10, it's an easy 8 based on overall price, look, and quality of audio. Very good bass but you can get the same bass for a 50.00 pair of sony earphones but DNA LOOK VERY COOL. I'm happy customer.

I purchased these earbuds as an alternative to larger over-ear and on-ear headphones. The design is great. Small, many ear buds to chose from to get a good fit, and a flat cord that keeps the cord from getting tangled. The sound is better than most ear buds but mid and high tones are often muted by the bass even with qualizer settings changed. Even though these are not noise cancelling they do a good job of it. For the price, they are worth the the purchase. If you want better and more true sound spend a little more and get the full ear DNA headphones.

Great headphones for everyday use. I bought these for my wife and she uses them for the gym, in the car with her phone and also on her ipad and love them! They are extremely comfortable and the sound in my opinion is perfect for out of the box headphones. The bass is just the perfect punt and the clarity is very good! They work wonderful with the iphone 5, no prob

These headphones are a great overall buy. I was looking to step up from my previous generation Apple earbuds. I have difficulty fitting these in my ears at times, but really don't like over the ear headphones for my purposes. The sound is great overall (I'm certainly not an audiophile). The bass is strong enough without seeming overpowering. For my tastes, I think I would prefer a round, rather than flat, cord, but this is not a major issue. In-line microphone/control works well and buttons seem responsive.

I bought these as a replacement for beats over the ear headphones. I use them while running and the over the ear beats were not practical for running. These headphones have good deep bass, not to the level of the over the ear beats but pretty good and cheaper. Has multiple attachments for the in ear part, so you can find what fits best for you.

I had originally bought the Beats earphones that cost $50 dollars more. They broke (right speaker stopped working.) I exchanged it for another pair. Two weeks went by and they broke again (same thing, right speaker started playing static and then burnt out.) So I gave up on beats and went for this pair. When Monster and Beats got divorced, Monster got the quality and Beats got the looks. These sound just as good as the Beats in my experience and I've had them for a while so I can say they are far more durable. The sound is great, and as good as you're going to get and still be able to carry the headphones in your pocket.

Replacing my DiddyBeats earbuds, the DNA's have same great sound. Crisp highs and deep-rich bass. Cellular voice quality is also great, clear. Outside part of earbud may cause discomfort when it rubs against ear. DNA's have a thinner flat cable which makes it tangle more often. Sale price of DNA's is the best part. Any BEATS equipment hardly go on sale and if they do it's not much.

These are actually my second pair of DNAs after breaking the optical jack on my first pair. First off, sound quality is incredible. I really didn't think I would want to spend $70+ dollars on a pair of headphones, but I did the Pepsi challenge with my tried and true $25 Sony earbuds, which have been troopers, and these DNAs are totally worth it. However, this is my second pair as I broke my first pair at the optical jack. It's a very odd and stiff 90 degree angle, which does keep it streamlined with my iPhone, but if you accidentally yank on it in a vertical manner, it will snap rendering them nearly useless. I'm just going to be a lot more careful with this pair as I really do enjoy the sound quality.

Overall a very nice pair of earphones, great sound quality, controls, and design. But for some reason it does not work with the Samsung Galaxy s4, and tends to fall out of the ear easily.

Above using these at work and everywhere else, I also use these while riding my motorcycle. They cancel a ton of wind noise and still keep their amazing sound quality while riding the bike, even at speeds over 100! Plus, they are incredibly durable, being wrapped up around and unwound from my iPod multiple times a day, they have shown no signs of ware.

I purchased these and a pair of Apple ear buds at the same time for use at work. The fit and finish were nice and the sound quality was good. However, I did a head to head comparison of the DNA's and the standard issue Apples (same songs, same volume level, etc.) and found the quality of both to be about the same. The DNA's are about double the price of the Apples. Needless to say, I ended up exchanging the DNA's for another set of Apples and saved myself $30. I'm not trying to hate on Monster, but I beat the cr*p out of my ear buds for use at work and didn't see the advantage of spending the extra $$ for the DNA's. I would recommend them though if you need something a bit more comfortable and aesthetically better than the utilitarian Apple ear buds. P.S. I also didn't like the 90 degree jack. It doesn't fit in a Lifeproof case without the extension.

For the price it isnt bad. Wanted a hands free in ear & this fit the bill. Wasnt too costly & did what I wanted it to. Flat cables are great as it does not get tangled. Music is ok through the hs but I do not listen much with these as for music I use a pare of Shure 535. Leave this in the car & use them while driving. The pouch it comes with isnt the best would prefer a case like the Dr dre ear buds I got for my son.

The Monster In-Ear headphones are really good. They sound awesome, and they're comfortable to wear. I bought them on sale for $20 off. Only the black/satin color was on sale though, and that puzzled me. Oh well. They work as expected!

I find these head phones are durable which I like. They are small and comes with a nice pouch to carry them. Sound quality is pretty good but I listen to books and I have not really put them though a music test. Overall if I had to purchase them again I am not sure I would put out the money.
