Nice to have the comfort of the protection. Also good to have the USB outlets

I bought this surge protector for a trip to VA for some protection while charging my bluetooth speakers, ipad and iphone. It fulfilled my requirements and I would highly recommend it, but I do wish it didn't require removal of the outlet's faceplate, and then the need to screw it into the outlet in place of the faceplate. This is the only reason I didn't give it 5 stars. If possible, I would give it 4.5 stars. The outlets and 2 high output USB ports are very handy and at present, I am making use of it at home.

This is a nice surge protector/outlet expansion. I helps with providing more outlets all while protecting against power surges. I can't speak to the effectiveness of the surge protector as I haven't had any surges, but it does come with a considerable warranty if any items plugged into it are damaged. The usb ports are a nice touch as well for plugging in devices to charge.

Great protection for my electronic devices. The usb ports are a bonus for my needs.

I have three of these Monster surge protectors in my house. I like that they plug in right over the outlet. So far, I have not had any trouble with them. They do feature two USB ports, which could be handy if you install the item in a kitchen or somewhere else with a counter on which to place items to charge.

I initially purchased these to match my black and copper Klipsch Wireless HD speaker system, but it also gives me comfort that my speakers are protected and the fast charge USB ports are useful for mobile device charging at different locations in my man cave. They look good and have good protection.

Monster makes good products. The surge protector does what it's supposed to, offering up the added bonus if it being outlet mounted with 6 outlets plus 2 usb outlets. This is actually my 2nd one. Both work really well and Monster insures everything plugged into it for piece-of-mind protection.

I purchased a tv from Best Buy and was asked if I had the proper surge protector for it. The one I have was being used on another tv so the associate recommended Monster. I looked it up online and saw the reviews then bought it. I found a cheaper price one week later and got a refund of the difference.

It's Monster, what more can I say? The USB ports are an added benefit and fast charges my kid's tablets. Others have complained that you have to remove the screw on your electrical plate to install but I like the fact that you have to. Makes it feel more secure.

I was skeptical about this purchase. I needed USB chargers for phones and tablets and have been let down by other such devices (slow charging). This one is great! Fast charging and surge protection as an added benefit. Was impressed that I bought a 2nd one.

I've had this Monster Gold outlet for about a month now. I haven't had any issues. The USB charger works perfect. I use it to charge my iPad and my iPhone. I'm very pleased with this purchase. I will probably pick up another one soon.

This Wall Tap Surge Protector was just what worked so well for me, as I have very few outlets in my house. My electric went out for a few seconds the other day, such peace of mind knowing I had protection from any surges.

I like this device. Plugs straight into the wall and is fixed to the outlet with the cover screw that is supplied. I use it for a wall mounted TV and does its job without any extra electrical cords hanging down.

Purchased this item as an open box and is very convenient for outlets were you can't or don't want an entire strip. The USB ports are a big plus but don't expect them to charge as fast as using the first party ac adapter for phone and tablet.

The compact design of this wall surge protector is just right for being alongside the bed. With six outlets and two charging ports, (iPhone and  watch) it does the job exactly the way it should, without the extra baggage.

I have had mine for a few years and works really well. Really enjoy the USB options as well. No issues during power outages and it looks like a beast in the package but isn't too noticeable when plugged in.
