Drops connection once a twice a day. Reset at least one a day. That a lot for why is supposed to be a great product. Wish I had another option with built in router.

Works extremely well, has good range, and super fast. No complaints.

The product has been a headache since day 1. It's been less than a month and Motorola and Xfinity aren't able to provide support. This is an authorize modem for Xfinity users, but this modem isn't compatible to wireless products that only operate on 2.4 Ghz. After several submitted tickets to Motorola the device not configured correctly. The phone line didn't work for 5 days. The product could be successful if both companies could view each other network. This is something to think about, while cutting the cord.

It will regularly drop the wifi connection to various devices and has to be rebooted to restore them. Didn't pin this down until the return window closed and have had no success trying to contact Motorola support. Appear to have gone out of business so I'm stuck with a mrginally useful $400 device.

Purchased this at Best Buy on their recommendation. Took it home and installed it. It seemed OK except the internet light was flickering. At the time I thought this was OK, however, when I added my Arlo Hub I began to have a problem with it disconnecting. This went on for months, as I was not able to devote time to work on it and my internet speeds were OK, but the Arlo system still disconnects. I contacted Arlo and it is not Arlo's system. I had Comcast come to my home twice and it is not a Comcast problem. I contacted someone at Motorola and they told me they new there was a problem with this modem and their website states it is unavailable. I went to the Fresno Best Buy and they told me not their problem my return date had pasted. So here I sit with a defected modem should not have sold me. If Motorola knew about the defect this modem they should have told Best Buy and all their retailers and they should have taken it off their shelfs. As far as Best Buy is concerned I will not buy anything from them. And never a Motorola product. Two modems that do not work right and no product support period! Now this site tells me I can upload photos, but when I try all I get is sorry.

Had some trouble connecting to my printer but working good so far

The Motorola MT8733 is a superior Modem/Router combination. My speeds were well over a gigabit on all speed testing platforms (including Fast.com), and they were consistent. Unfortunately I had to return the Modem as Xfinity could (would) not provision my phone lines.

We had an older router and modem and have been having problems with our internet for months. After buying this and getting it set up our internet is faster than ever and we are actually getting the speeds we are paying for!!

Interestingly, the unit with Voice was less expensive and easier to find than the unit without voice capability. Easy to configure and quick to reset when changing any settings. Liking the automatic band steering based upon the device that's connecting.

It works fine the majority of the time but will just randomly drop all wifi connections for no reason. The modem must then be power cycled in order to get the wifi back up. Can work for weeks at a time or can crash multiple times in a day. Sadly, Motorola has dropped all support for this modem shortly after purchasing and their support is absolute garbage. This will be the last motorola item I ever buy. Avoid this like the plague.

The Modem/Router works great and with excellent speed. My only complaint has NOTHING to do with this equipment. I found that my Amazon Kindle Paperwhite doesn't support the speed I'm getting. Their Operating system doesn't support wifi 6 apparently.

This is the best modem I have had yet. Yes its a router too but it handles all the speed my internet provider can give me. I think it will be the fastest modem that I have ever owned.

Perfect for Xfinity customers. I was able to get it up and running in less than 30 minutes! And that included internet, tv and phone. The directions were flawless and I’m not all that tech savvy.

Purchased to upgrade speed capabilities. No noticeable difference but hopefully a wise investment in future tech upgrades. It does everything you need a DOCSIS modem to do. I do not use it as router so I can't speak to those capabilities.

I can not write a review as after I had purchased this device, the requirements of my network changed significantly and it was no longer a viable option for internet and voice even though it has more than adequate ports and speed potential. I only know this device from research and reviews.

The only reason this product received one star from me is that I could not figure out how to give it zero stars. Don't buy this router, it's garbage. And I don't usually say that about anything. After I set it up, it had to be rebooted once a day, every day. A very nice man from Motorola Tech Support got it working for me, but unfortunately only for a month. Since then, it has to be rebooted at least two times every day in order to keep working. It is constantly dropping the connection. If you buy this, you will curse it every day.

This is simply the worst experience I have had with any modem/router combo. I constantly disconnects and drops all of the devices of the network. It nows happens every day and many times a day. I wake up every morning with all of my thermostats, cameras and etc without connection. The only solution is to unplug and plug back again. The customer service does not exists. I have call like 6 times to their phone number and after exactly 61 minutes of wait it disconnects me. I spent a lot of money in this device, my wife works out of home and I am truly do not have an idea of how to get it fix. I do not recommend this modem, and I actually would not recommend any Motorola modem as the technical support is unreachable.

Bought this to avoid rental fees from Comcast/Xfinity. This works perfectly with consistent too speed. A lil procey but payd for its self after 15 months versus $15 rental fee.

Product is excellent and giving good performance. Had a little inconvenience on configuring but otherwise it is a good product

Replaced my crappy Comcast router so that I would have access to the settings that I needed and it has worked wonderfully.
