I needed Geek Squad help. I had an appointment which meant I didn’t have to wait when I arrived. The young man 2ho helped me was pleasant and professional. He even remembered the young man (Andrew) that assisted me many years ago. He explained the offerings of the yearly Geek Squad account and the cost. I was very impressed with his ability.

My Best Buy total membership is amazing, because if anything breaks or something happens to the product , they automatically give you a brand new one and you can live peacefully knowing you stuff is safe , even if it gets broken fs 5 stars !!

Easy to navigate and learn to utilize. Gives me a sense of confidence back in my ability to keep up with daily happenings in my world!!

I’ve had the membership for years and then it failed to auto renew. It might have happened because my payment method was tied to my debit card which I had to replace due to fraud. I fixed that by purchasing again when I bought the 17 Pro Max. I feel much better having the membership because of my age and illiteracy with technology.

New to program.. Bought a PC with good help from sales. Advice for support taken. Just getting to know service dept. Interesting that app does NOT allow for messaging or changing appts. Front desk clerk very rigid but tech people kind. We drove 2 hrs to drop off computer and do 5 min of paperwork. We were sent away and had to make a new appt the next day. Our street was closed for a fire and we were late .. like 20 min. We were told the work was possibly more than a day when we set up the appt. When we finally got our hands on the five Min of paperwork required... ( after 2 hrs of driving to Bangor)... they said it will be a week before we get to this... all calls go to call center with all foreign speakers not familar with geography... ie why don't you find another Store ( we live in northern maine).... probably our last purchase since no one answers phones, no one is presence to problem solve at customer service and any attempt with online is antiquated

Great product for seniors who are not up to date with new technology computers Televisions etc. You can take your computer in and they (Geek Squad will update or help you with problems. And you get discounts and coupons for money off on purchases. Great resource love it,

Friendly, knowledgeable intake GeekSquad experience. Good turnaround time of 2-3 days. —Only used service for one issue—Windows 11 issue. Took two trips/service this issue (have not used since last appt). Bad apples diminished plan’s benefit—-Last time had this plan it included remote desktop service, in-home set-up. Remote IT would have been way better for software issue. —-But like so many things the bad apples abused the plan to furnish new homes with numerous TVs, etc, I’m told. So now the reasonable, honest folks are put out.

Its good for its price, its value is insane though seeing how it fixes anything. You break your controller? Fixed. You break some headphones? Fixed. You get a virus on your pc? Fixed. It does the job amazingly and it comes with benefits too.

I wasn’t sure if My Best Buy Total would be worth it at first, but it ended up being more helpful than I expected. The biggest thing for me is not having to stress about protection on my devices. Electronics are expensive, and knowing repairs or issues are easier to deal with gives peace of mind. I’ve also used the tech support, and it saved me time instead of trying to figure everything out myself. It’s probably not necessary if you only buy something once in a while, but if you have multiple devices like headphones, a laptop, or gaming stuff, it makes more sense. Overall, I like the convenience and the feeling that my stuff is covered.

Seems like alot initially but consider that electronics can fail/have issues sometimes before you expect. Had this before for a microwave and did not realize it covered so much more. Now I do, and got it renewed and got my PC brought back to life! Certain items I get at Best Buy so has helped to have this... because they are electronics.

About a year ago I was getting ready to start school and needed a new laptop, I was unsure and uneducated on what would be the best fit for me. Thankfully, my husband took me down to best buy and I had a great experience. The staff was very well educated and did not try and force me into something that I did not need. I was only needing something that would get basic things done. Like logging into school power points to follow along in class, essays, the Web so I could do research and watch educational videos. I ended up purchasing the Samsung laptop which has done everything I've needed effortlessly. I did have some technical issues but that was cleared up quickly because Thankfully I also purchased a two year best buy warranty that allowed me to contact their "Geek squad" and let me tell you, they are life savers! I was able to get back to focusing on my education quickly.

My Best Buy Total™ Membership Review I’ve been using the My Best Buy Total membership for a while now, and I think it’s a solid option if you shop at Best Buy often or buy a lot of electronics. What I like: The extended return window is really helpful. You get 60 days to return most items, which gives you time to really test things out. The 24/7 tech support is convenient. I’ve used it a couple of times for setup questions and minor issues, and the help was quick and easy. You get two years of protection on most purchases, which includes accidental damage. That’s saved me money already on a broken pair of headphones. Free shipping is fast and reliable, which is nice if you don’t live near a store. What could be better: It’s not cheap. At around $180 a year, you really need to use the benefits to make it worth it. The exclusive deals are okay, but not amazing. Sometimes you’ll find better discounts elsewhere. If you don’t buy electronics regularly, the membership probably isn’t worth it. Overall: If you’re someone who buys tech often and wants extra protection and support, this membership makes sense. But if you’re only shopping once or twice a year, you might be better off sticking with the free My Best Buy tier.

I recommend everyone to purchase. I will not buy anything without making sure its applied. I will even check Bestbuy before purchasing elsewhere just to make sure I can't get it here and be protected. He arrived right on time, explained everything with clarity and patience, and demonstrated an impressive level of technical knowledge. What really stood out was his kindness, professionalism, and genuine desire to help. Sean made sure every question was answered and every issue resolved, all while maintaining a friendly and respectful attitude that immediately put me at ease. His partner, who accompanied him, was also excellent—together they made a fantastic team. Best Buy should be extremely proud to have employees like Sean and his partner.
