I love having my membership it helps when you don’t have to have money upfront to take care of something usually covered by the policies of membership Anytime I’ve had a problem and had to use geek squad. It’s costing me nothing to have them look at it my laptop I have a plastic shield for my phone. It has a lifetime guarantee, and whenever I’ve gone in there to get a new one, it’s never been a problem.

I recently purchased a back up driv that is worthless. It down loaded my files but doesn’t give me a way to separate files. Now I have picture, email, video files, and everything else all mixed up. Real difficult to try to sort. My thumb drive is better sorted. I can find things pretty easy. Thank.

I recently had a problem with my membership expiring because my 92 year old mother passed away. I just didn’t remember to renew due to my emotional status. Once I recognized the expiration I quickly renewed my membership and asked to resume my membership privileges. I have always been a member along with a good customer. I have purchased every piece of electronic from Best Buy and is happy to continue our relationship in this very sad time for my family.

I’m really not talking about my membership, but about Best Buy’s customer service. I walked into my house to find my husband on the phone with hackers taking over my computer. I had him end the session (!), and immediately contacted my banks, and headed to Best Buy. I was near tears, and emotional. The young lady that created me at the door was wonderful. She took care of helping me to secure my pc that I had brought, scrubbed my iPads, and helped me to purchase a new All-in-one to replace my old outdated pc. Her care and concern was so terrific!!! So thankful to her (Julea), and Best Buy!

I’ve been a member for multiple years and never once regretted the decision. The included extended warranties alone are worth the investment, not to mention the faster deliveries and longer return windows. This is without a doubt the best store membership I’ve heard of, and it’s easy to recommend to any semi-regular Best Buy customer.

My Best Buy membership has been the best investment I've made in product warranty. This past year it has saved me almost double the cost of my membership. Best Buy's Geek Squad has helped me with many computer questions both in store and over the phone. I can't say enough good about this service. If you don't have it, get it.

So glad my husband talked my into investing in this! We were able to backup old computer memory and clear out about 8 computers from the house. The protection plan part of the purchase has been an unexpected surprise that helped us when some technology glitched. This is our third year using this plan- it has been worth the investment for us.

The staff at Best Buy Geek Squadu outstanding and very, very helpful; however, the AI answering system is not effective for customers and not understood by the staff, too, so Best Buy should integrate better by training staff. Many customers were inconvenienced due to the AI answering system - WE PREFER REAL PEOPLE as more efficient and positive for customer service.

So glad I had it after having back to back computer issues. They were apparently quick fixes. I am having some problems again, as a MDiv student I am on my laptop all the time, so I am not surprised. It however does feel like some of the staff are not as capable as others, so my hope is that their team will do some skills training, or pass around projects based on skill ability.

I never always buy at Best Buy Port Arthur, so that I can get the Geek Squad help if I need it. I forgot to do this review at the time, but now that I just bought a new (expensive) laptop, I want to share my experience about why buying Total Tech is the smartest move you will ever make. Update to a recent purchase and why I highly recommend Total Tech: My new laptop, a Lenovo Legion Pro 5i, rates an A+, but it would not have without the Geek Squad, which was amazing! I cannot praise them enough for getting me through a difficult setup. Microsoft is being so intrusive now days that the average person is at their mercy to setup a device in a way that is acceptable and which successfully minimizes Microsoft's outrageously aggressive promotion of their products. Truly, as far as I am concerned, my Total Tech cost paid for itself with this one purchase because I more than likely would have returned this $2,000 laptop (hey, don't judge, it was the only model with the ports I needed) if it had not been for the professionalism, friendliness, knowledge, and patience of Jacob (Geek Squad Tech), Emily (Geek Squad Manager), and Michael (the employee who set me up with Jacob). They were all beyond amazing. I am a granny who has had a horrible few years (lost my husband after a horrendous 5 year struggle with aggressive dementia), and I struggle to cope with any stress these days. The Geek Squad employees at Port Arthur, Texas, just did everything they could to minimize my stress. I just cannot tell you how much I appreciated them. So, yes, the Lenovo Legion gets 5 stars, but it was because the Geek Squad gets 10. I HIGHLY recommend the Port Arthur Geek Squad and Best Buy Port Arthur, and, now that they did their magic to configure and customize my laptop, I am thrilled with it as well. Truly, getting Total Tech (for several years now, even while struggling to stay in my home while my husband was ill) was one of the best decisions I EVER made! Thank you, Jacob, Emily, Michael, Total Tech, and Best Buy PA!

After buying a laptop, getting this was a no brainer. The value is through the roof for the apple care alone (compared to purchasing Apple Care outright). I've had this in the past and it has saved me hundreds of dollars, and I've actually used the care protection for other purchases and Best Buy makes it super easy to ensure your gear stays in working order!

Total lifesaver!!!! The membership is totally worth it!!! My laptop fell off the bed and I thought it was beyond repair!!!! With my membership and low deductible I was able to easily get my laptop repaired and it’s good as new!!!!! I’m so glad I had it on auto renew and never cancelled it!!!

This product I bought with it is perfect for me - first there is no glare from any type of background lighting; the color in all venues is excellent; the detail is unbelievable; it really is a perfect fit for out entertainment area and no one has complained of visual problems - easy to use. Just what my retirement ordered. The membership added to the long term use of my great product and gives me some advantage in terms of interst, etc.

Best thing BBUY came up with. My son bought his own products moving out applied for BBUY card told him make sure you get total card, best money u will ever spend. I personally have saved thousands over the whole time for the past 5 years now. I currently have $1300 in savings this year. Had to use Geek Squad for hard drive replacement made appt part was in quick service all because I had total package. Best money ever spent for the convenience.

So far the Best BuyTotal Rewards membership that I’m paying $180/yr for has been worth the money. Some of the return (of defective items) has not been as good as it was. I had to return a home theater receiver back and instead of exchanging it for the exact model, they gave me store credit and I had to repurchase it at a higher price.

This membership gives such a piece of mind when buying products through Best Buy! You always know you have an automatic 2 years of coverage as long as you keep your membership active. Plus, any questions or you need help with anything and you can go right to one of their stores for free! Also, you get great deals and discounts on products daily.

Unlimited Geek Squad included in the membership is amazing! My old computer stopped working and the Geek Squad was able revive it and move everything onto the new computer. And of course they set up the new one too. The best part was that the team under promised but over delivered by getting the job done in one day instead of three!

My Best Buy Total Membership pays for itself and I couldn’t live without it! My computer became unreliable after seven years and the Geek Squad helped me choose a new computer, which is a pleasure to use! I know I can get help troubleshooting on the same day which has been a lifesaver and gives me total peace of mind with all my technology issues.
