Goes well with the design of the home and lights up the room with it's bright, or dimmed, ambient lighting. Also pairs well with Homekit and Siri. Set commands to turn on lights as you enter your home, "Hey Siri, set Fireplace" or use voice commands to turn off lights right when you go to bed. Recommend purchasing at least one extra extension panels. 9 panels seems a bit short in my opinion.

The Nanoleaf is pretty darn cool. The panels are easy to install/connect. Once hooked up they respond great with their app and via the Homekit system. If I had to pick a negative, I would say pricing is a little high and when knocked off the system, reconnecting can be a little annoying.

    AURORA.

Bought this Aurora some time ago and somehow felt compelled to write a review about it, it is very easy to set up, the panels connect to each other very easily but once you stick them to the wall or on another surface it will be a little difficult to readjust, good in my opinion as i never had to, they stood in place and they were ready for pairing. This is where the issues with this product are, i managed to connect it with my home but kept falling in and out of reach to the point where it disconnected itself and didn't want to be paired again, had to restart it and restart it just for it to pair and sync with all the other lights in my house. Until I decided it wasn't worth the struggle and kept all the light settings i wanted saved and pushed the button manually to change the scenes. I love these lights but if you don't want to go through dropped connections i recommend you wait until the next version. Somehow they just work with me and turning them on manually isn't much of a hassle because of where i placed them.

I have been using these lights in my office for a while now and they are unique that people compliment them. Set up was easy but I give it 4 stars because I had it connected to my iPhone and android device and after a couple weeks it is no longer working on my android device...also the extra panels are expensive.

While the Nanoleaf is somewhat overpriced, the product creates a spectacular light show and a conversation piece for guests at the house. It's great because it can be setup according to your decor preferences and as a bonus, works with Siri and HomeKit seamlessly.

The Aurora lights look amazing on my wall, they were relatively easy to setup, and only had a minor setback with pairing the device to their app (which I solved by unplugging and plugging back in). The big downfall of this product is the price point. At $200 for the 9 tile starter kit, you might want to wait until the product goes on sale. That being said, it adds a creative and one of kind style in my room.

    Awesome Product, So-So App

I love this product and it gives my place a modern look and feel. The lights are awesome and the numerous scenes that can be created are crazy. The only downside is the accompanying app which is not the most intuitive or user friendly. I also use the Apple Home app and Light DJ (app that allows lights to change with music) which all work well together until a scheduled task occurs then the Aurora doesn't know what to do and won't allow me to make any changes to it unless I use the Aurora app. I have several Phillips Hue lights that I also use these same apps with and those don't have the same problem, which tells me that it's something to do with the Aurora itself or it's app. The only way to fix the issue that I've found is to turn the Aurora on/off several times before it will begin doing what I ask it to do. Lastly, the double sided adhesive strips that accompany the Aurora are very strong...so strong that I attempted to change the layout of the lights and when I did it also took some of the sheetrock from the wall as well which I had to patch. Maybe next time they will figure out a better soutlion. Overall the lights are awesome and I would buy them again, but the app glitches and too strong adhesive strips bring the rating down a notch for me.

Hardware and led lights are very good quality. Fairly easy to setup and connect. Only issue was connecting product to App. Suggest signing up for the beta version when you download app. Its free and works much better than the official release as of 8/20/17.

Saw this online, thought hmmm gotta check it out. The positive extremely easy to setup, very bright, cool features and options. The negative? Just the price way to high for what you get. Luckily I had coupons and best buy rewards only paid 100.

The nanoleaf aurora looks great once you get all the pieces to work together. It is marketed as a modular lighting system with the ability to add and remove pieces at will; unfortunately, in practice, this didn't necessarily work. My boyfriend piecing it together that way and we always had one or two of the triangles that wouldn't work. Fortunately, we learned that if you attach them to each other one at a time, all the pieces would work as long as you didn't remove/move the pieces. Once all the pieces were working, it looked great. We love it and it looks awesome on our wall, it just took so much unexpected trial and error. I don't know if ours was an isolated incident. Hopefully someone finds this helpful who is considering the aurora based on the promo videos alone.

Love these but just not sure where to put them. The lights can cast at full a glow almost retro neon which I love and hate because it limits placement options. Doesn't work with IFTTT Yet or Alexa u less you program it with Hue and then Alexa which is a lot of steps.

I love how bright these are and can really light up my dark office. The only issue I experience is that the software is a little buggy and sometimes the panel glitch. Overall a pretty good product.

This was what my son wanted for Christmas. They are beautiful when lit!!! Totally changes the mood of the smallest of quarters. Actually, Star Trek fans would love these things. Given 4 stars due to the quirkiness of pairing to an android device. Also, wait till the the big unit goes on sale rather than pay $60.00 for 3 tiles in the expansion pack. You can run 30 tiles off one main unit. The main unit comes with 9 tiles and the plug/pair unit. This brings the price dramatically down. Further, you CANNOT 90 degree a turn say, from a wall to the ceiling with one connection as Nanoleaf shows on their website. But my teenager loves them!!!! They really cheer him up.

really cool lights, that you can arrange in any pattern. i think they should have made the panels snap together more securely rather than relying on 3m command strips to keep everything together and on the wall. nevertheless, it functions well thus far and you have a lot of flexibility as far as programming the light colors.

Stylish, functional and fun. I bought these after a review I read on iMore.com and I have been really enjoying them. I put them together in a pattern that hangs behind my computer monitor so I have a super cool light show going on while I'm working or gaming. Apple HomeKit controls work great through the Home app, Control Center or Siri. Looking forward to buying some add-on panels soon :) Only negative is the price. While I'm happy enough with them for the $199 price, I think the barrier of entry is a bit too high for most.

Every friend that visits me love it. They always tell me that it looks futuristic. The only downside to it is that it doesn't have another app that syncs with music as the hue lights do. Other thing that i like is that it works with wifi and you don't have to plug an ethernet cable in order for it to work with internet.
