I bought this vaccuum a little over a year ago, and up until this point it has been great. It sucks up a lot of dirt and navigates fairly well. My issue is with the durability. It has a very small dust bin, so it must be opened fairly regularly to be emptied. The other day when emptying, it broke and will no longer latch. For the price it should really be made better to last especially with the need to frequently open.

I would give this D4 Neato vacuum a 2 star review but I have 2 and the other one is operating much better than the newest one. Neato’s customer support is not very helpful, often blaming the connection to the WIFI. The fact that the older D4 is further away from the WiFi mesh and has NO ISSUES, tells me that this individual D4 is defective. Since Best Buy doesn’t carry the D4 in the store, I am left to deal with Neato directly and this has been a wholly unsatisfactory experience. I think we just have a defective D4. I’m very close to returning it to get a full refund.

This is the most expensive, worst purchases I’ve ever made. It will not connect to the app like it’s supposed to and every day there’s a new error. Customer service responds readily through email, but they send a long list of things to try every time I’ve contacted them, yet it still doesn’t work. If it actually worked for more than 5 min, it might be a great product as it vacuums well.

I have two houses, 3 dogs, and 2 Neatos; both Botvac D4. I used to have Roombas. I really liked the ability to schedule these and change it on the fly with my phone app. They pick up a ton of dust and debris. !st one died after ~18 months. One wheel won't turn anymore despite cleaning. The 2nd one is not even 5 months old yet and is only used about once every other week. It died. Says it needs to reboot; I reboot, it connects, starts and seems fine for about 2 seconds then it stops and tells me I need to reboot!

Took some experimenting on the base placement but once we found the best place she just flat works. Everyday I come home to a clean floor. Will buy another when she quits.

This is a great botvac. It cleans thoroughly and is relatively quiet. The dust bin is more than adequate. And the botvac cleans for a very long time before running out of juice.

Does a great job cleaning my 1200 SF home. Navigates well around my furniture. Rarely getting stuck. Only problem has been keeping connected to my internet. Dont know if thats the Robot or my Internet.

Works great once you get it set up and running. Takes a while for it to learn the floor plan and sometimes disconnects from the the internet. If you’re willing to work through it, it’s great.

I have owned several neatos for 10 years now and have loved them, as they have been workhorses, with a lot of power and organized maneuvering, cleaning. The one challenge we have had is they are high maintenance [having to call support every so often to resolve issue]. I compared this to a Shark this time around and decided to keep the Shark. This one keeps getting stuck, and doesn't have the extra dirt bin that the Shark model has. The shark app also is better [faster, more responsive].

I love this vacuum, it picks up lots of dirt, goes over everything, doesn't get stuck, and knows when it needs to recharge! GET IT! You will love it.

KICKS IROBOTS BUTT! OUR NEATO (AKA FRAN) HAS BEEN THE BEST OF HELP FOR MORE THAN A YEAR NOW. I WILL SAY IF YOU ARENT NECASSARILY TECH SAVY YOU COULD HAVE DIFFICULTY SETTING IT UP, IT WAS KIND OF COMPLICATED. I LIVE IN A 2500 SQ FT HOME AND IT GENERALLY CAN CLEAN THE WHOLE FLOOR IN ONE GO AROUND. ITS FAR MORE EFFICIENT THAN THE IROBOT ROOMBA AND DOESNT AIMLESSLY WONDER AROUND BOUNCING OFF FURNITURE AND WALLS. CATS DO FREAK OUT<--- ONLY COMPLAINT

Love this vacuum cleaner. Has really made my house cleaning efforts easier to free me up to do other things.

Awesome vacuum. Works great on pet hair. I definitely would recommend. Have had a Neato for several years.

Other than some occasional app issues, this robot has been great. My home has stayed significantly cleaner thanks to it. I only use my full size upright about once a month for a good deal clean and let the robot handle the daily maintenance of my floors. The large brushroll up front gets into corners better than my old round robot. The large dustbin is great, only have to empty every few days.

Good , but has problems with tasks. Has trouble finding its home. Instructions not clear, phone help not much help

This thing just works! Every night it does it's thing and picks up the loose dog hair and dirt. Wife noticed she didn't have to sweep as often. Great purchase! The dump bin is a little flakey, but it's a simple work around. If the app shows the bin still needs emptied when you already have, just push the little button inside the lid. It sometimes doesn't make complete contact. Other than that, it does its job!

I love how this cleans my floor and carpets. Just wish I didn't have such a hard time getting it to connect to the wifi. Disconnects and then I have to connect again.

It does a great job. It’s quieter than any other ones we’ve had. Does 1800 sq ft and returns to charger.

Overall good smart vac. It takes several runs before a map can be saved. Just plan and be carefull when setting no go lines.
