Not all gigabit switches are created equal even if the specifications appear to match. I replaced an older switch with this product and it works must faster. Both had same high level throughput specs.

Works well and a good size. Pro: Plug and play. Easy install. Clear indicator lights. Cons: Mounting bracket isn't the easiest to work with. Power cable is bulky.

Wanted to direct wire computers, printers, and tv's and needed this to do so. It's much more stable than WIFI only. Now the Tv's don't buffer when watching.
