This is a dumb switch and was plug and play as expected. Great little unit, with a solid metal enclosure as you’d expect from NetGear. And it’s rack mountable!

Great PoE switch

Environmentally-rugged with PoE for all ports. Netgear's Prosafe warranty has been used to replace one switch in the past without fuss. Highly recommended.

NOT impressed with product at price I paid since Netgear decided to ONLY INCLUDE the weakest option for power supply. The included power supply is a "throw away" option in my humble opinion. As purchased, (IMHO) the max purchase price should have been $99.00 AND included a better power supply. If fit the need at the time (needed POE w/at least 8 ports late one night). Otherwise, I wish that I had waited and bought a better POE+ switch with more ports and power to POE+
