This product works great once it's set up but I'm just a tablet owner and because I didn't have a computer I was unable to set this up. I had to borrow a laptop so I could load the modem and drivers and then everything worked great. If you are just a tablet owner like me you will not be able to set this modem up.

This was a replacement for an older combination router/modem. The old router was acting up and my son got me a high performance super speed router from his job in Silicon Valley. Therefore, I had to get a reasonable free-standing modem. The modem is great, but the Best Buy floor associate sure didn't know a thing about the product, although he thought he did.

I bought this to replace a defective AT&T unit. It works well enough for a link between the DSL line and my internal network. The big attraction is that it is much cheaper than purchasing the official AT&T model. At roughly $50 it is still about $30 overpriced for this type of electronics device.

I purchased this as the DSL modem from my DSL Provider Wind Stream is not very good. I did not know that the 24mb connection is based on a Bonded connect and only Modems through DSL providers are supported. I would like recommended if you have a DSL provider with Bonded connection or higher than 10mb.

Plugged it in, it immediately recognized everything in my system, including my Belkin wi fi router. No problems with it since I installed it.

For those of us in rural areas, ADSL is often the only choice. Don't let your Internet provider stick you with a monthly rental bill or some lame modem that you have to get replaced through them (because you'll be without Internet for days). I got this because it's a top-quality modem that is actually cheaper than the rental offerings from my ISP. Know this: modems are VERY sensitive to electrical pulses, so no matter who makes them, they do tend to get fried eventually. The $5.00 Geek Squad protection is the best way to go (and this is coming from someone who NEVER gets an extended warranty). So when that time does come, you can just run to Best Buy and make a swap--or you can ask your ISP to ship one and enjoy waiting for days without Internet.

My previous DSL modem was slower than dialup. This ADSL modem allows me to work so much faster that I have some spare time for a change.

Easy to install, easy to mantain, works well, reliable

Like all Netgear products, this modem is a high-quality device. Set-up was easy and it connected to my Netgear wi-fi router without any input from me. It has been running 24/7 since I got it. It does generate a lot of heat, so you need to use the stand that comes with it, and place it where there's plenty of open space around it.

It was a little difficult getting setup but otherwise great product.

My network was running very slow. This replacement fixed my issue.

My internet provider's modem kept going out and I finally got frustrated enough to go to Best Buy and ask for some help. The staff member was incredibly helpful and spent more than 30 minutes with me reviewing my options for a modem and router. Both items I purchased I've been very please with. Both had user-friendly instructions and were easy to install.

Nothing special. It does the job and I haven't had any problems.

had this same mouse before and lasted a long time. has long battery life and fits your hand great makin it easy to use.
