Difficult to install with wireless router. Customer service very helpful with the install. Needs more than one port for Ethernet cables-did not realize this when I bought it. Made it work.

Works great, instuctions could be clearer on how to install and activate !!!! Overall a very good product, and I no longer have to pay the phone company to lease a modem !!!

I had to replace a Motorola modem at work that started disconnecting every few minutes. What a pain. Purchased this unit, and although setup wasnt as intuitive as I would have liked, once installed its been great.

This modem is disappointing. I ran into trouble with set up, the instructions gave no help in solving problems. Customer service was slow and the person was some what difficult to understand. After getting the modem to work, he then told me I needed to pay them $80 for a 6 month service contract on my 2 year old Netgear router so we could upgrade the firmware or it would not work correctly. My system is no slower than with the old Embarq modem. Going to through this piece of junk in the trash and go back to what I had.

I sure wish Centurylink would offer faster service to the Lampe, MO area. 10 Meg x 768 kB is terrible and its unreliable. This device works as advertised.

My daughter set this up in our back room on main floor. She has a laptop in the basement and I have one in living room. Both laptops are getting great reception from this modem. We are very happy with it. No more having to reset it every few days as with our old one.

My previous Netgear modem / router less than a year old died. Best Buy staff advised separate components. Why they didn't do so last year I DKN! Good thus far.

My parents 15 year old modem died, so I suggested they come with me to Best Buy to purchase a replacement. As usual, service was excellent. I did have some questions and they were answered right away. I always get great service with BB! Thanks

Replaced another modem that was dropping our signal. This one seems to have a stronger signal. So far no dropped signals. Would recommend for the price.

This is a good starter modem for someone who just need internet and no wifi.

This modem was fine to replace a very old one. It works fine with dsl and our router, and was easy to install.

I'm getting DSL and my carrier is only sending 6 Mbps, which this can handle. Installation was pretty easy.

got this as an upgrade from the modem from our internet provider. this works great. has been a big improvement. set-up was a little more involved than anticipated. had to call tech support. it has been working great since.

I have the apple airport along with this modem. Switched from the att modem and router when I bought my imac 27 5 k. Had a little trouble installing but apple care techs are wonderful and walk u through all troubleshooting.

My previous DSL Modem had to be reset every other week or more, kept dropping out. New Netgear Modem has been in use for approx. 2-months - no resets so far and computer speed has increased even with DSL connection.

This Net Gear Modem works great for my needs. Love the fact that I don't have a monthly rental fee . Well worth the purchase !!!!!

Initially, I thought this was working well for gaming on Xbox one. Granted – the only Internet I have available is DSL with Centrylink, but my Internet speed was still extremely slow. I also had to connect this to an additional wireless router which may have contributed to the problem. If price is an issue then I would give it a shot, but if you can afford better I would do that instead. Ultimately, I ended up returning it .

after we finally got it installed (a couple of hours) it works well. had to call the geek squad for help.

If you don't program it right the first time, its memory is makes it very difficult. With so many passwords to remember triple check

I bought my first dsl modem. I am very satisfied with this, it's a nice color and everything was great. I recommend this to anyone whose looking for a DSL modem. Thanks! :)
