Used to get dual channel for certain devices that need to hook up to 2.4. Had a hard time connecting to router with sub speeds at first. Re set router and all is working well now. Problem devices have now connected on 2.4hz when I couldn’t get them connected on my mesh router. Also used as a stand alone connection point for gaming computer set up with low ping and fast up and down speeds. App is difficult IMHO patience is key.

Easy to setup with nighthawk app , seems very well built and fast speeds. Only complaint is I wish you can coustimize a bit more with the settings like the other nighthawk routers but for a mesh extender you can't complain.

Router has been great! Reaches all the way back to the front of my garage. That’s a good 45-50ft from where the router is in the back bedroom. Only dropped out a once in over a month so I think it’s definitely a great buy!

Great range expander! Easy install, simple steps to follow. Range much better than what I thought it would be. Reaches out into the back yard. Everything, in oversized three car garage works, plus all pool automation equipment that is located on the outside back wall of the garage.

After purchasing a cheap knockoff WiFi extender that didn’t work, I decided to spend a few more dollars and go with a trusted brand. This extender is perfect. It was easy to setup and works great in my apartment. The dead spot is gone and my internet speed is super fast.

extraordinarily easy to set up as long as you have the correct router to work out with it. But it truly does do exactly what it says it trick does, and is much simpler than running a new access point or a switch and access points.

This wifi extender is super simple to setup out of the box. Easy to follow instructions with the app. Performance is very good as well. I have it broadcasting to our guest house which is about 60-70 ft away from main house. Works great. Would buy again.

Had some trouble setting this up, the app really wasn’t any help, had to call the customer service line I looked up online. Once it was up and running it worked pretty well, fixed my dead zone issue I was having in the basement.

I purchased this to improve the signal in a large home with little to no cell service. Except for timing out and having to reset, it is effective and works. We have had 18 devices connected to it at once and worked perfectly. Highly recommended for the price.

This extender is great. Before installing it, I was getting 2Mbps download speed. After installing it, now I get 115 Mbps download and 15Mbps upload speed. The Netgear app talks you through the set up. I am in no way geek squad material, but I found the instructions in the app easy and straight to the point. I love this piece of equipment.

I was looking to replace a 4 year old wireless extender that was just too slow and not working as well with our Gigabit internet. Tried various different mesh solutions in our house but either the internet connections were too slow or they would disconnect randomly. I am a very technical person and I dont have time for timeouts of devices. So I made a last ditch effort with this. Easy to setup, and great connection and speed. Full house coverage for my tons of devices in my family home. ONLY negative is that it is so powerful that in places where I would connect directly to Comcast router, it takes over! Might need to have separate network names for extender and router to solve this.

Replaced another brand extender. Now the coverage is great, even on our deck. We have Verizon FIOS, and WiFi download to iPhone 12 at 5 is 130 mbs, uploads at 70. Good enough for us. Very easy to set up, but iPhones do want the more secure protocol. That’s an extra step. Fits next to books on s small shelf.
Recommended to a friend and they now have great coverage.

I would have given 5 stars but the setup could not be done through the app, it was a bit technical to get everything configured, however now that it is, I have no complaints. We are in a house with brick and plaster walls on both floors, with this extender connected, we can now get WiFi in the entire house and yard with no drop off.

I needed this WiFi mesh range extender to go to an external building about 75-100 feet from my base unit. Not only did it work, but when I plugged it in, I must have picked up 20 different WiFi units, where before this, I only got 2. Another good reason to password protect your WiFi system. This is definitely a powerful WiFi extender, and I highly recommend it!

I purchased this extender because I had multiple zones in my house that struggled with connectivity, mostly upstairs as my router is downstairs. Since purchasing the EAX20 I've had full connection throughout the entire house with no issues at all. The signal extension is incredibly strong and the initial setup out of the box was easier than expected. Within 10 minutes I was setup and ready to go. I'd highly recommend the Netgear EAX20! I'm happy I decided to go with Netgear. The accompanied app is also streamlined and easy to navigate, giving full control of your network and devices attached. This is by far the best purchase I've made for my homes wireless ecosystem.

I needed more reliable and higher speed internet in my family room. Watching an Amazon Prime movie would often go to low definition. It was easy to setup and actually gave me the download and upload speeds that I have been paying a premium for with Verizon.

I have two of these, and they work well. Initially I set mine up as extenders, but them I changed them to access points. My only complaint is that if you have a problem, it can be difficult to fix them, and you have to pay for support after an initial period of time. Also; I have had issues using the Nighthawk app several times.

I'm not a techie so it was a little more difficult for me to get it to work. It was sending out a strong signal but it seemed to ignore the internet so my devices couldn't connect. I had to reset it three times and start over. On the fourth try everything worked as it should. For what it's worth, I watched a video of a techie who said it took him three tries to get it to work.

Easy Setup and Reliable WiFi Extension
Thanks to this repeater, I could seamlessly extend my WiFi network into another room. One of the features is the repeater's back panel, which offers convenient ethernet connections. This allowed me to establish wired connections for my server and four desktop computers that are in a separate room.
Even though I needed wired connections for my server and five desktops, I utilized the repeater's ethernet ports with a small 5-port switch. As a result, I successfully connected my devices wirelessly across rooms using this repeater. The performance of this device matches its specifications, and I am satisfied with its capabilities.
