I have a Nighthawk AX router, so I thought I would get the extender as well. Pretty easy to set up, running really good speeds in my back room. Xbox, desktop computer, hardwired. Four other devices running simultaneously. Great speed. Happy with my purchase

Performed beyond expectations. I like that I can connect either wirelessly or directly with ethernet. Setup was a breeze and the app is also great and was an unexpected bonus feature.

I upgraded my internet to gigabit plan. but no matter how fast and wide my wi fi signal is,I'm not getting enough signal on my video doorbell downstairs. i decided to take a chance my chance on this extender. i was not disappointed! so easy to set up thru their app. a little bit pricey though but its worth it!

Gathered the signal from across the street in the front room of my house more than 100 feet away and allows me to have wifi in my other building! Also, the mesh system allows more speed to my PS4 upstairs in my house than a hardwired line of over 75 feet.

This device was easy to install especially with the app. In about 10 minutes it had solved the problem I had with a weak wifi signal at the far end of the house. Now I have a full set of bars signal everywhere. I like Netgear equipment and this one was worth the money for me.

I added this router as an extension to our current setup to add better reception in a far corner of the house. It’s working great! It is very easy to install. The setup walked me through and everything was up and running within 10 minutes. Our house is large and has horsehair plaster in parts, which makes WiFi reception difficult. This new addition has made a huge difference.

    Quality Wi-fi Extender

This Netgear extender was reasonably easy and quick to set up. Download speed of wi-fi connection is significantly improved from previous (non-Netgear) extender. Lights on front of extender confirm proper operation for most features. My only complaint is that the 2.4 Ghz and 5 Ghz lights show whether the extender is broadcasting in these bands, not whether the extender is communicating with the router on these bands. For example, if the extender is connected to the router in the 2.4 Ghz band but out of range for 5 Ghz, the extender will still show the 5 Ghz light. Other than seeing a problem with a speed check, you need to log into the Administrator account with a browser to see that the 5 Ghz connection to the router is not active.

Moved my workstation to the far end of the basement and was only getting 7mbps, not enough for a reliable connection to the office vpn. The Netgear EAX20 was delivered at 11.36 AM and before noon I was online with 35 mbps, well above the 50% of my primary router that I was expecting. My laptop mostly stays in the docking station but my iPad and iPhone go with me all over the house without any connection issues. I was very happy the first day and am still happy after 4 weeks. I was very nervous about solving my WiFi reception issue because the internet is a mystery to me. Reviews seem to ding the EAX20 for being expensive, but it was worth every penny to me.

I replaced an older range extender with this Netgear and what a difference! All my devices communicate much quicker with the EAX20 and no drop offs! I highly recommend this range extender if you are looking to expand your WiFi capabilities.

This is a really good product and creates that mesh wifi in another end of the house. Use the Nighthawk app and it basically walks you through linking it up to your existing router/modem. I would recommend connecting it to the 5ghz wifi signal as that will give you the max speed. The 4 ethernet ports is mainly what I needed to direct my high speed internet into my devices in the living room. Game console owners take advantage of this.

First one had an issue, second one much better

First one had an issue. 5Ghz speed was 200mbps but 2.4Ghz had 3-15mbps. And in both cases used only 5Ghz for the connection to Nighthawk Router. Support was a nightmare as only the Nighthawk support team can handle it. The Mesh team for Orbi cannot support this product and I kept getting routed there. Finally support said to try another one. This is the second one and it is much better. 5Ghz is 200mbps and 2.4 regularly shows 30-60mbps when within 20 feet of the Extender. Handoff from Router to Extender is fairly quick but that will depend on your phone.
