This might have been the easiest router I have ever installed. Basically just plugged it in, pushed a few buttons, and set a password. No issues with anything. I'm streaming all my tv now, and running things off 2 laptops, a smartphone, and a wireless printer. All seems great. Had it running for 2 months now. Haven't had to reset or unplug it one time. No dropped connections. Couldn't be happier. (Every once in awhile I have some buffering issues with the streaming tv, but I think that's Time Warner slowing the internet down to try to get people to pay more for their new faster services. Doesn't seem to be an issue with the router.)

Excellent replacement for modem supplied by Comcast. Easy setup. It took about 15 minutes tops. It has been in use for about 6 months. No issues. Return on Investment less than a year.

A lot of people buy this router to avoid the monthly charge from Time Warner. Very reliable and definitely worth the price. Works great and gets the work done flawlessly

Needed a not too expensive router modem combo for 2 BHK and this fit the bill. Been good so far with reliable high speed internet.

Works well, for the price it isn't bad at all. I have been using it for about a month now with no issues. Got it on sale so no complaints here.

this is a great modem/wifi router for a second home that we have a slower speed(cheaper $) internet service. only there a few months a year. perfect for what we need.

I had no issues with hooking up the product and getting it to work. Working through the settings for the modem online is easy and can speed up your internet.

this router is the best router in my opinion for the price its so good that i can receive WI-fi signals outside from 5 stories down

I bought two, for me and for my Mom. much better than the ones provided by Comcast and RCN. Buy it and you'll be saving a lot from not having to rent one.

I bought this modem for my parents to use in their home. It worked so well and was reasonably priced for modem/wifi router all in one that I bought another one for my own house. I had to return the first one (bought for my own use) because the wifi router didn't work. The Netgear tech guy recommended that I return the unit for a replacement. The Netgear support is thorough and helpful. After the exchange, everything worked as it should. Good connection and was affordable for cable/wifi router. Would buy again.

I purchased this to get internet through time warner cable. It has been very reliable so far. Easy to hook up and no problems.

Very easy to install and to use. Sometimes the phones forget the password and you need to write it again.

I bought my mom a smart blu ray player for Christmas; she has cable but we needed wi-fi to take advantage of the blu-ray apps (Netflix, Hulu, etc.) I got a lot of conflicting info from the cable company and Best Buy sales associates so I originally bought a router and a modem. When the wi-fi was installed the cable buy said all we needed was the modem. It works great and now me and mom watch Netflix every Saturday. I also did not purchase the most expensive model; this one was about $50 whereas there are some that are over $100. Definitely worth the price.

The router is good for the price. It does seem to lose connection at times more so ham other ones I've had. Overall, it's a good value.

This works well for a 2700 Sq Ft home. We did buy an extender to ensure strong coverage upstairs. Very pleased with the easy set up and quality of its performance.

This router/modem combo was very easy to install, and has been very reliable. The Netgear Genie app is very useful for those of us whose routers are kept in less-than-convenient areas, as you can monitor usage and reset the network from your phone. No issues so far, and it does exactly what it advertises. Streamlining our units to this 2-in-1 has the added benefit of looking neater with fewer wires and mess as well.

It does the job perfectly. Its about a month I have using it . No issues so far. Easy to install and manage.

I bought this Router for the speed and distance. Had the Comcast tech install but it went real easy. Highly recommended.

unit works fine and would have given it a 5 star but my HP compaq C700 laptop gets no internet connection unless it is hard wired with the ethernet cable from the unit to the laptop. had to buy a new modem/router because of comcast. would not have bought this modem/router if i knew it wouldn't work for my laptop. apparently the problem is the laptops wi-fi . tried to install new drivers from HP but this didn't fix the problem and comcast couldn't fix problem either.
