Pick this up with Netgear XR500, plenty of port for your hardwire equipment, gaming, steaming items. I have not been able to set up the switch I order to get the full benifits due to my MacBook bonjour issues, going to use to windows today after work. I have gotten great speeds from the switch

Purchased this with the NETGEAR - Nighthawk X10 AD7200, works well in 2 areas for me link aggregation for my NAS or gaming pc, and for alleviating overhead to the wireless router for connected devices, less work = more play. streaming 4k in home via plex is great!

The NETGEAR - Nighthawk S8000 10/100/1000 Mbps Gigabit Gaming & Streaming Switch seems to perform well. The shape of the unit prevents it from having anything placed on top of it and rather insures that it's placed on the top of any stacked electronics.

Have not had any issues with this router so far. It seems to work fast and you can designate which Wifi is device has priority. My nephew also owns one and he loves it. He is in avid gamer and is online all the time.

Tried every brand of network switch, and this one by far is the best. Paired with the Asus GT-AC5300, all my lag disappeared.

I am very happy with the purchase of the Netgear Nighthawk S8000 router switch to compliment my network. Setup is easy and connectivity a breeze! Highly recommended, solid and heavy for its size.

Not a whole lot to say. It works with little to no setup involved. Looks slick, especially the blue lighting. Matches my Nighthawk router in styling. Doesn't appear to negatively impact the speed of network traffic.

Had a very limited switch previously, would buffer down to 80 megs on my H.T.P.C. now without having even setting it up runs 110-125mbps no problem. This thing rocks:)

Picked this up on clearance. Other managed Ethernet switches like this cost hundreds. What a deal for a great switch for home use. Not large enough for a business class switch but perfect for home.

I currently use this as the switch for my small home network. The unit has been up and running flawlessly for almost a year now.The construction is very solid and the design is pleasing to the eye.

So far so good. I’ve used other cheaper products in the AV systems that I install. I need constant and reliable connection. Where others have failed and I’ve received call backs, this one works well.

I used this to directly plug a pc into my wifi router. This makes for a faster connection than wifi and I can recommend it wholeheartedly if your pc is near the router.

Needed to add some wired speed as wireless network got too slow as I added devices. Very happy with the speed this has for netflix on TV, apple TV, and giving extra ports for all things in my main TV room.

This switch replaced a standard non managed switch when I upgraded to an Netgear Orbi AC300 router from a Netgear Nighthawk. The ease of setup to establish priorities and speed are fantastic.

I’ve owned several switches, but this one by far is the best in my opinion. It gives many user options and looks very sleek in the process. I liked them so much, I currently own 3 of them!!

This is a great router. I just don't understand all the modern setting you can make to improve connection on certain equipment. Learning as I go. We have a lot of WiFi and direct connect equipment. Home theatre system plus full stereo and game units plus smart home equipment. No troubles easy hook up.easy to get going and love the ease of access.

I purchased this switch to aggregate 2 Ethernet connections from my Nighthawk 8500 router. Unfortunately they aren't compatible with each other. I confirmed this with Netgear tech support. I ended up buying a different Netgear managed switch to accomplish this. I kept this switch anyway and will use it at another location in the future.

My current set up here in MN visiting family has been tumultuous to say the least, so I’ve had to do some work around and this made everything just so much easier. 100% worth the money

Easy install and manageability is a plus although the default settings are working well for my network but having the ability to throttle connections could be a great feature with larger families.
