This ended up being so simple. I plugged it in near my router and then in my observatory about 80 feet away. It worked great. I did find, as the documentation says, you cannot use a power strip or surge protector.

This device is a freaking Godsend! I have a TCL 6 series that consistently had terrible wifi connection. It wasnt my router or internet speed. I did read TCL's can have suspect wifi reception. Running an ethernet wire across the house just wasn't an option. I read about the Powerline 1000 and decided to give it a try. This thing was set up and running in less than 60 seconds. Just plug and play. My connection speed on my TV went from 2 Mbps to 76 Mbps! Now I finally have true 4K picture. I am going to put the Powerline on my other two Roku TV's. Fantastic!

Following an addition to our home, I moved my office into the basement addition space. The concrete wall blocked the signal from the router. The Powerline 1000 is a very good plug-and-play solution.

Works great. I work from home and the only Ethernet connection I have in my 5 bedroom house is in my livingroom. I was able to get Suddenlink to run a line into my bedroom which is on the first floor. However, my office is upstairs on the opposite end of the house so it makes it hard to get a WiFi signal strong enough to work without interference. My manger told me about this. It’s easy to install and it works! My signal is strong and there has been no interference at all. I highly recommended it. It’s cheaper than paying an electrician.

Needed to get a reliable wired connection to my second floor, but didn't want to tear out walls. Purchased this produce, plugged it into an outlet that is in the room directly underneath the upstairs room where I need the connection, plugged the other extender in the room upstairs, ran a line to the lower level from the ISP gateway, ran a line from the extender to the computer, and we had a solid connection on the first try!

Does as advertised. No more messing with long cables and wifi for gaming desktops. I have 3 sets of these in various locations. Can't recommend enough.
Note: Only use multiple sets of these in a house where there are different power grids. If in an apartment or something small using more than one will conflict and cause problems.

The best for my TV and netflix. It goes straight from 2% to 99% every time. No lag. Great connection every time. Uses the wall wiring as an ethernet cable. I'm getting another for my uncle

I bought this Netgear powerline adapter to use with a gaming pc that was unable to connect directly to the router. The first day I setup this up, I had no problems and it worked perfectly. After the first day, it began to give me very slow internet speeds. I did some researching and figured out the outlets I have in my room and the room where the router was are on different circuit breakers. Although it did not work for me, it is still a great product if used properly.

This was amazingly easy to set up, and it kept me from having to do some major wiring to get an ethernet cable hookup for my computer downstairs when the cable modem is located upstairs. This is really awesome and it works great! I am so happy!

Bought the powerline adapter to use on a Smart TV that is in a room where the wifi signal was weak due to the distance from the router. Worked great.

I have my router and modem upstairs and been having connection issues downstairs with my TV. I tried wifi extender but this didn't really solve my problem as it would still buffer alot. So, I looked into making a wired connection to my TV but i didn't want to move my router as it was near my upstairs TV. This device allowed me to hardwire directly to it and for last 3 weeks I haven't seen any buffering issues.
Connecting was a breeze. Directions were simple. Plug in wall, plug in router, then plug in wall, plug in TV. Easy as that.
Things I would of done different - Probably would of went with cheaper model. Don't think I need the speed that it provides.

These have worked pretty well. It is not as fast as a direct plug, but my kids seem to think that there is a bit less lag and fewer drops. I ran a ping test and it's definitely faster than wifi, but it's not as fast as being directly plugged into the router. Setup was pretty easy, but if you have a two-story house, you either run up and down the stairs a lot or give really specific instructions to your kids or it will be a longer process than you like...

My comcast router sucks but this extended my network so I could log online with my ps4. Delivers 50Mbs speeds, could be faster but maybe because I have too much on my network. No lag so I fine.

I used this product not as an extension for my wifi network, but as a way to connect my computer (whose wifi card had broken) to my wireless internet. It comes with a micro CD to connect the computer to the network extender, but for computers (like mine) that cannot take CDs this size, it also has an option to use a link for the same thing. In my situation, it necessitated the use of a friend's computer to get the product up & running. After this quick process, though, it's worked well for my needs.

I’ve bought these type of power-line type boxes before. They were another brand and only 500mbs, but they still do well to this day. They’re at my sister’s house. These I use in my living room for my RPi4. I want set up a “watch” party using my own video-conference server for the coming NFL season with my brother and brother-in-law. Right now they’re great for networking without having to run a long cable.

Just plug it in and connect it to the devise you want. Pretty much it. Worked as advertised and saved me a trip under the house. Been about a month and has not failed me yet.
