    Easily expand your network

Better than wifi, these powerline adapters will expand your network. Just make sure you have free electrical wall sockets. They do not work as well when plugged into a power strip.

I finally just got tired of the lousy throughput of wireless. I had tested and tested and tested and found I was only able to get 25 Mb/sec throughput even when I placed any number of devices less than 15 feet away from my router (100 Mb/sec Comcast) but found that devices hardwired to the router consistently had full throughput as advertised. I did some research and tried to eliminate interference between wireless access points and other 2.4 and 5 Gb/sec devices with just about no success and was at the point where I was going to drop $279 on the newest, latest and greatest WiMo router when I thought I would try these babies. Plugged them in and easey/peasey they synced and I found I was getting the full bandwidth anywhere in my house I put them. So I spent about $70 instead of $279 and plugged in the things that required better bandwidth (like streaming to my Roku and my laptop). They are small, unobtrusive and have been working great with no loss of sync and perfect speed for over 4 weeks. love them and recommend them highly!

The deivces work well. Configuration is super simple, plug in and connect to your devices. One sides Ethernet plugs into your Router, the other sides Ethernet plugs into your device. TV, PlayStation, Xbox, PC, Laptop, etc. This is not device dependent, if it has an Ethernet cable this will connect up. This will not transmit signal between multiple houses with separate meters. Sometimes in my apartment they act up and need to be unplugged and plugged back in. This occurs every few months so it isn't a big issue.

I was having issues with wifi on PS4 staying connected. This solved the problem and also increased speed. Now have 3 or 4 throughout house. Easy setup

ok, so i bought this since the router is in the bedroom and my daughter's room. Is on the other side of the house. WI-FI did not do well so far away and the number of concrete walls that the signal has to go through. I always heard about powerlines so here is a perfect opportunity to test it out. So far, very good! I did an ethernet cable connections directly from the powerline to the pc and, voila!, no lag or long load times. If it continues like this, this was a great purchase!

Used it to connect computer located in wireless dead zone (in my office at the other side of the house). Did not get the best performance from my desk outlet, but was able to find a better outlet down the hall (so I compromised and used a 25 foot Ethernet cable for temporary connections during virtual meetings). Works great and makes it easier for me to telework in privacy.

If you need a hardwire connection to your smart tv or computer and dont have ethernet already prewired in your house then this is a must have. Little spendy but worth it.

I have worked from home for years. When we moved to our new house one office is on the opposite side from the other and lots of walls in between. Our internet just did not pick up well at all with the modem so far away. My company suggested I purchase this item and IT WORKS. Very happy with this product.

I had a problem with wireless reception from basement to a few areas on 2nd floor. Rather than buying a wireless extender, i bought the powerline adapter. Glad i made that decision. This served as a direct line to my desktop in the study for a long time. Being a wired connection, the speeds were very high. At times, i move this to the TV to get a wired connection. Now, i was able to move the router as well. No installation what so every. Plug and play...

I don't exactly have much to compare it to, since I've only ever used one other powerline adapter, but the speed isn't SUPER fast. The best part of it though, is that it is fairly stable. Much better than having to rely on wifi. Connected directly to the router, I get ~250-300 mbps whereas with this extender, I get around ~50-80 mbps (more so around 65-70?)

From what I can tell. I had to purchase this due to the modem being far from my son's room. He was always complaining about lagging while playing his PS4. He's only complained once or twice since I purchased this network extender. I believe it was actually due to an issue with Comcast. It seems to be doing it's job. I got it on sale, but it was still a bit pricey in my opinion.

We have a dead zone in our house that neither our main router or secondary router (in access point mode) could reach. I first got a set of 3 google wifi devices which while they did reach the dead spot, the overall throughput of our 250 Mb internet service was cut by 2/3. Returned those to Best Buy and tried out this Netgear power line adapter. (I had a very old power line set that no longer worked). Plugged these in and set up a 3rd router in access point mode in the dead zone...and am getting 200+Mb speed. Fantastic product so far.
