Works Great
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I needed to get an Internet connection out to my barn for the solar system equipment there. Wi-Fi would not work as the barn is metal. I took a chance on the Netgear Powerline Extender based on reviews. The signal has to go from the house out to the power pole (where also the solar system connects power) and then to the barn. I was sure this wouldn't work. But it did! I don't get the highest data rate but I do get a connection! It was trivial to set up. I am very pleased.

Simple and useful product!
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I love this product - I already had purchase 1 set because the 4k on my Smart TV using wireless had so much lag! I even upgraded my router and it still was weak - this is a direct connection and haven't had any issues. I was experiencing issues on my smartTV in my bedroom using Roku - I just purchased another powerline and it connected to my network no issues.

My buffer problem is fixed
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I live in a 3 floor townhouse and the router is located on the bottom floor. My tv on the third floor functions with the internet only and I would spin out quite a lot. A best buy associate steered me to this item and it works 100%. No more buffer problems.

Great Fix for Cable Problem!!
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I recently installed a tv above a fire place and wanted to move my main U-verse box to the TV. The problem was the primary box is directly connected to the router so you couldn’t just move it like you could a wireless box. The power line allowed me to move my box and save money by not having to add on a new wireless box through U-verse. It’s easy to set up and this one doesn’t obstruct other outlets.

Able to get internet services
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Excellent. I was unable to get internet service in the back of the house on my desktop. I am working from home due to the virus. I had an extender but it didn’t work. My brother told me about this product because he use it for his security system. Simple and easy just plug in. One into the desktop and the other directly into an outlet near the modem. I have had for a month now with no complaints

Works
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I had a wireless network with periodic and poor reception for netflix. I connected my own ethernet cable from my router to my computer to make a wired connection. I then plugged one netgear receiver into wall outlet near DVD and connected provided ethernet cable from it to dvd player. I connected the other unit to a wall outlet near my router and connected the ethernet cable from it to my router. Result - perfect and fast connection.

Great solution
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This worked perfectly! My dad’s tv kept dropping the WiFi connection and has a finished basement so he didn’t want to tear up the walls running cat5 wire. The router is at one end of the basement. I plugged in the sending unit next to the router which is 3 feet from the breaker box. I plugged the other unit in behind the tv and then plugged the Ethernet cable into the tv. Works great! Netflix runs perfectly now! Even in 4k!

Easiest way to get anything working far away
||Posted . Owned for 8 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. With this you can get rid of range exteders that are constantly loosing a signal. Plug one in at your router and the other anywhere in your home. No setting up and hopping you get a signal, just plug its mate where you wat it and you have a direct line to your router. This is the easiest and quickest way to get a computer set up anywhere in your home.

Conceptually Great
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. Please note that I understand that every home is different so, take this with a grain of salt. The room I used this in was upstairs and a a few rooms away from the router, which is downstairs. The set up was super easy and the connection was established immediately. The only bad part was the connection speeds. The best I could get was 40up/10down. My cell phone wifi was faster. Also, when an appliance is plugged in and used on the same electrical line, the speeds completely bottomed out. I ended up returning this and getting the NetGear AC1200 Dualband wi-fi adapter and the speeds on that are 100up/15 down. Every home is different, so my recommendation is to try it and see if it works. If it doesn't, Best Buy is great to work with on the return.
